The mirrors that Quentin and I designed see the same way that the eye does, illusions and magical disguises would escape them. If you have magic go ahead, just be careful around the security team.
It was my idea, a Casino based around the nine hells. Quentin and I designed the Casino even down to the circus. He even used my idea for staff uniforms. The entrance is 3 miles north of here on the 'Styx' river by boat.
The young dark-haired lady keeps listening attentively as she studies the map. "Do you have any details on security, numbers and competence. In particular, should we expect any spell casters among them?. Also, as far as you know, how would one go about to join that game?" She asks calmly.
The game is invitation only. Nothing stops you from being a guest at the other tables, 21 is very popular. You could even play for the house as a croupier, nothing like a safe game where it's someone elses money. I would say that your bard would have no problem being engaged as entertainment.
I don't know much about Security there, our original idea was to employ Teifling guards, he kept that idea but they are all Zhentarim, as such there's likely to be a Warlock amongst them.
Here, some seed money and with that she puts a coin pouch in every ones hand, it contains 100GP.
I can send a coach for you to the entrance 3 miles away, or you can take a barge upstream to the 'Styx' or even walk. Send the Teiflings into the Casino and ask for Quentin to see about employment.
The young dark-haired lady too pockets the pouch with her gambling gold with a small grateful smile to the alluring tiefling. "The barge should be inconspicuous enough to arrive by and I suggest those who infiltrate by employment should turn up one by one. We don't want to arouse unnecessary suspicion by turning up like a group knowing each other. Alos, while I at first imagined attending as a player perhaps it is better that we all seek employment at the Casino so that we can do recon and plan together?" She suggests and looks around at the others. "To be clear, if needed I too can take the shape of a tiefling, and perhaps I could be useful at the spa or the bar, or maybe the I can convince them that the casino should have ladies that take care of some of the particularly rich guests to show them a good time and encourage them to keep spending and that their luck will soon change." She says with a small amused smile.
Her eyes gleamed at the thought of Quentin getting his come uppance. Since you'll all be Teiflings looking for a job it would be possible to travel together, after all you need the cash so you all put money in the pot to hire a barge to take you to the 'Stiyx', it's cheaper than a coach and you don't want to be seen as a beggar by the Zhent guards.
The bard's eyes narrow at the mention of Zhents, but other than that he seems delighted with their plan. "Ah yes, us downtrodden souls must stick together. To the Styx, then?"He looks enthusiastic about setting off, but will wait for the others to ask any further questions.
"Hah, you can of course play the part of the downtrodden if that is your preference, it should suit you." The young dark-haired lady with a teasing smile. "I will be a classy tiefling that has come to offer her talent as a highly competent casino hostess."She adds with a playful smile and her appearance shifts into that of a young tiefling lady. "What do you think, am I a proper tiefling now?"She asks with a slightly different voice and gives the others a little twirl in her new blood red dress.
He eyes Delilah's tiefling form with feigned skepticism before giving a teasing shrug. "Careful, if all your disguises are as charming as yourself, people may begin to put two and two together." He chuckles before giving a smirk. "As an up and coming bard, I think moonlighting as a ringmaster would be fitting indeed...and give me access to some delightfully dangerous animals, I hope?"
The white-haired tiefling in the red dress looks away briefly at Mavilius comment. "Ah yes, imagine if they have a live Allosaurus in the circus..." She laughs softly. "...but I'm sure you will find some way to cause a little distracting mayhem when the time is right dearest." She then says with a warm smile.
"Thanks Verity, would you know if there are any guest players in particular that will be attending the main game. Also, the Erinyes statuette, will we know it when we see it or do we need a closer description of it to know that we return with the right statuette?" The white-haired tiefling asks their contact.
The statue and the gold are all in a vault near the circus. The statue looks like a larger version of this, with that she put her hand in her pocket and produced a tiny pendant, here take a look. Verity passes it around.
I'm sorry but I really don't know who is playing in the tournament, I didn't take part in this years tournament because of Quentin. Without you or a patron it would take me years to get the money together for a high stakes game. That's why I'm working here.
"Well, your current situation is definitely something we should remedy." The white-haired tiefling lady says, and takes Verity's hand in hers to give it a reassurring squeeze giving her a comforting smile. "Just one more thing I think. Who, if anyone, apart from this Quentin would know the password to the vault?"
The vault is enchanted, you need to make sure that you have a pass before you go near it. It has faces that breath fire at intruders. If Quentin kept to our design there is an animated skeleton of a minotaur in it, you can try to get the rod of command from Quentin or fight it. The problem is there will be a mirror in the vault. Somehow you need to disable the security mirrors. The password would only be known by Quentin. In planning it was 'Ashmodai'
There is also the small problem of the gold in the vault itself it's magically tied into the gaming tables, so don't steal a chest, steal the gold in it. There should also be bags of gemstones as many gamblers don't trust coin.
The white-haired tiefling lady in the red dress ponders the infomation and nods. "So we need a pass and a password then, and that rod too, all held by your former partner I presume? Assuming he kept to your designs, would there be anywhere the mirrors could be deactivated or tampered with other than breaking them? Also, is there any message you would want us to deliver to your former partner, or would you prefer he wouldn't know about your involvement in what will happen to him?"
The mirrors are powered by Genie magic, you could try and talk to the genie though I don't know how, each two mirrors were constructed out of the sand of the genies desert. They live in them and would no doubt be glad to be free.
Personally I'd smash the mirrors in the security room.
No Quentin doesn't need to be aware that it was me, though I'm certain he'll guess it.

Exa
Exa breathes a sigh of relief, content to hear that her hat may still be of use if it can fool the security mirrors.
"Wait, you designed the mirrors?" she asked.

Exa slips her pouch of coins inside her leather tunic for safe keeping. She pats it appreciatively.
"Thank you, Miss Verity. I'll put this to good use," she says with a grin.
"We're taking the boat right?" she asks excitedly.

The most uncommon type Dao. They'd be glad to finally leave the mirrors. They may even grant you a wish!
Here take my bag of holding for my money and the statue. I see that you have your own for your own loot.
