Tumal turns his charming elf smile on Kelvin. "It appears that it can." Heartened by the way his sacred flame dispatched his targeted zombie, Tumal once again calls upon the light. The elf touches the crystal at his throat. "May the light protect us," he says a little more confidently. A flame-like radiance descends on the last zombie, its light dazzling for just a second before disappearing.
Sacred Flame — Damage if it fails a 12 DEX check: 4 radiant damage
The zombie blinks in momentary surprise as a holy light bathes it.

Its skin crackles and burns, but it remains standing.
Regarding this dropping of weapons, yes, after this fight I will go by that rule. Normally, I do not, but since part of the point of this is to be strictly AL-legal, and that is the rule as written, we will do that here. Unless you have the Dual Weilder feat, you have one object interaction per turn. That can be drawing a weapon or stowing a weapon, but, to do both, that means simply dropping the first one on the floor, as opposed to sheathing them. (Which would make it an action to pick up, later, should you need to do that in combat.)
Animated by the presence of his animated enemies, Destin weaves his way through the tangle of bodies and expertly hamstrings the zombie with one axe, and, as it begins to fall, slashes its head on the way down.
Zombie: 16
The combined attacks of the companions should have brought it down, but instead, it turns its full attention towards the dual wielding human.
Casmenos slams the zombie in the head, crushing it between the morning star and the floor. As Casmenos pulls the morning star back from the the blow, portions of the skull and decaying flesh stay tangled up in the spikes. Seeing this, Casmenos gives his weapon a violent shake to get it off without much success. With a sigh and a sneer of disgust, Casmenos starts to very carefully flick the bits off with the tips of his fingers, as if the bits of flesh could bite him back.
As what remains of the last zombie stops twitching, you strain your ears and hear...nothing. With no immediate threats, you have tome to catch your breath and consider your current condition. Before lie the same two exits to the room -- a corridor to the east, and the door in the southeast corner, from which the zombies emerged.
Some of you took damage, and some of you cast non-cantrip spells. You likely need to take stock as you decide what to do next. Please make sure to update your character sheets with spell slots used and damage taken. If you do not know how to do so, feel free to PM me.
Marrow moves as far towards the opposite side of the room, away from the two exits, as he can before he slumps to the ground. Grimly he inspects a source of pain in his side where his body was slammed into the wall. I could use a rest, maybe. Would anyone mind taking a look at this? He indicates his side and winces as the gesture sends a jolt of pain through him. Yup, he thinks, halflings, we're the luckiest sodding folk in all of Faerun.
Tumal (9/9 hp) crosses to Marrow and peers at the injury. Looking around at the others, he says with a grave face, "Perhaps we should take a rest. Even a long one."
Cassyt shakes her head. "I like a good night's sleep as much as anybody, but in less than an hour we have already seen ghouls and zombies. No way we can rest that long without something else coming across our path. *Maybe* an hour, but 8? If the undead wouldn't kill me, Yorvir would."
Casmenos agrees, "Eight hours is too much. An hour for now. I can heal some, but not enough and my healing has other benefits. It would be a waste to use it now when rest is possible."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Marrow takes a moment and adjusts his position; it almost feels as if something has got knocked out of its joint, but after a few moments, something clicks and the pain subsides. He grimaces, and rises slowly to his feet. I'm fine, I think. If no-one else feels the need to rest, let's go on.
If Marrow is the only one seriously injured, he will use Second Wind to heal himself 11 hit points instead of taking a short rest.
Tumal rummages in his pack and pulls out a healing potion. "Here, friend," he says, offering the potion to Marrow. "I think you might need this more than I do."
Does "I am not sticking with that in this particular fight, but be aware" mean that after this fight that rule will be in place?

Just for reference, I have the Dual Wielder feat, so can draw/stow two weapons at a time.
Destin marches up to the remaining zombie, hacking with both of his axes once again to attempt to chop it into chunks.

Casmenos, shaking his head at the persistence of this zombie, will try to bash it in the head.

If you are still around -- how do you want to do this? (I will describe later if not)

Keksi doesn't need rest at the moment, she will be on watch for more undead.
Casmenos will join Keksi and remain vigilant.
