Medicine: 19 - Does Alexana know if she had contracted anything contagious? Investigation: 18 - Does Alexana find anything of interest in the zombie body?
"Anyone know about zombies? Any experts here who can take a look at my wound, and tell me if I've caught something from his hit?" Alexana asks the group.
. . . After they resolve the health check and search the body, Alexana will continue to search for traps or any signs of enemies as she goes deeper into the cave.

There were no signs of any plague or disease on the zombie, and your wound is just a plain old bruise. As you continue into the cave, you find a 10-foot high ledge in your path, with two zombies standing on top of it. Roll initiative!

Aria lets out an "Ugh!" and cleaned the zombie ichor off her blade. As they traveled further into the cave, they spotted two more undead and the purple-haired bard swore "Beshaba's tits!"

(In the future, stealth won’t count unless rolled before initiative, so keep that in mind.)
Both zombies will drop their boxes of rocks on Aria (10 damage) and Dorno (9 damage). Make a DC 12 Dex saving throw to negate the damage. They will then both drop down, with one taking (5) and and the other taking (1) bludgeoning damage.

Dorno looks at the fallen zombie as if he is a bit freaked out by it, but moves on, following the others. "Hello, Mr Rock Lord, are you ok?" he says, but mostly quietly and timidly as he is scared of this place.
Initiative: 9
Dex Save: 12
Dorno is scared enough that he gets a bit too eager and runs right up behind Aria in an attempt not to be left behind. He almost pays for it with a box of rocks to the head but steps aside, watching Aria get hit. "Hey, we just want to help the sick man!" He begins tossing magically charmed stones at the zombies once again.
Magic stone attack: 10
Damage: 9
I promise Dorno will do something different eventually! haha There just hasn't been a particularly great use of spell slots just yet. Trying to conserve for when we really need it. Once I can pick up another cantrip he can get Shillelagh and actually hit stuff with his staff, too.
(The zombies are actually right in front of you. They jumped down from the ledge, so if you still use a range attack you'd have disadvantage and provoke an AoO.)

Hmmm, ok, well since Dorno somehow got himself into the thick of it, I'll simply have him disengage after narrowly dodging the rocks and move to a safer location for a caster, ideally back in the direction they came so that he knows there aren't any dangers (traps, holes to fall in, etc.) there.
