Hrain nods grimly as Halberd ends the first rat, then channeling a small measure of his power he brings radiant energy to his sword's blade. Stepping forward into the next rat he swings once hoping to end it cleanly and quickly.
Attack 1 12 for 9 + 2 radiant damage.
If he kills the rat he steps on to the next one, swinging at that one too, if the first rat is not dead he will direct his second attack at it instead.
Attack 2 16 for 9 + 2 radiant damage.

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
"Nice going there, Boss," the invisible gnome says as he steps around the rat Hrain just slew. Folzi then bounces down the hall towards the last rat. Squeezing past the creature, he mocks, "I'm gonna get you!" Once behind it, he gives its tail a gentle tug. "Whoa! What was that?" He then jumps back a couple of steps down the hall just in case its instinct is to snap at whatever may have its tail.

The mercenary takes his cue from Folzi once again, letting the skilled gnomish Caster work his wiles on the remaining rat before re-opening the window of advance for Haldur. The sellsword does not hesitate and he springs forward, halbred held aloft and ready for another series of attacks.
DEAD. Alas the magic of Halloween has passed no powers of resurrection remain!
Initiative over. Post at will.
Haldur dispatches the last rat his halbred catapulting the corpses into the darkness ahead! His movements sling gore as it flies through the air! The tunnel now is eerily quiet. Nothing but the faint sound of breathing from the party of seven....

Having been nearby when the mercenary dispatched the giant rodent, some of the ichor managed to fly onto Folzi partially revealing the outline of his cheek and shoulder. "Ick... Hey! Watch where you're flinging that stuff."He wipes away the gore so that his form isn't given away. "Well, let's see if we can't find out where we took a wrong turn."

Despite the biting chill in the air and the adrenaline still coursing through his veins, Haldur cant help but grin as Folzi barks in protest to being splattered by giant rat blood. The young warrior certainly couldn't blame him for that, after all.
"My apologies Folzi. I thought you might want some of your sacrificed food back, and I'm pretty sure a bit or two might remain in that stomach remnant at your feet." Haldur gestures to a particularly grizzly looking piece of innards quickly freezing on the ground, but the sellsword's smile is warm and genuine. He was very glad that the skirmish had gone quickly and smoothly.
Still grinning, Haldur then nods in agreement to the gnome's statement about finding where they made a wrong turn. "Yes, let's double back and correct our course. Remain vigilant though," the mercenary adds in all seriousness, looking to the rest of the party, "that sentient puddle abomination is still out there and most assuredly stalking us. Let's stay alert."
With that, Haldur will return to his place in the group's formation and prepare to move out.
"Carrigan, by the four, where is she?" The Paladin pauses then continues "She was here in this area just before we were attacked, she couldn't have gone past us while we fought and that only leaves magic - could we be missing some magical trap or hidden way that she might have gone through, or been taken through." Looking back down the tunnel the captain adds "search this area thoroughly, make sure there isn't some form of trap, and be careful watch out for each other - if she was taken against her will it was done quickly and quietly."
He moves to the opening of the tunnel, the light from Thomas' staff giving him the ability to see someway down the corridor, blade still drawn he stands stoically watching in case of any other threats while the others search the walls and ceiling.

Folzi rushes back into the room where the tunnel ends. "Did anyone check to see if these walls are real?"He begins running his hand around the walls and fallen stone to ensure this was truely the end of this path.
Investigation: 27
(DM: Not sure if any checked to make sure if this was an actual dead end.)
Haldur whips his head around in stunned bemusement upon realizing that Carrigan is missing. He swears beneath his breath and watches as Hrain and Folzi begin searching for the halfling, and the mercenary quickly joins in the hunt. Beginning at where he saw her last amongst the group, Haldur starts checking the ice-crusted floor for the halfling's footprints. If they led away from the group in any direction, that would give them a place from which to follow.

Folzi reaches up to touch the rubble but his hand disappears...an illusion! Folzi then sees two small glyphs on either side of the wall as well as small piles of stone dust as if they were only recently carved into the tunnel walls. Lyra notices them too but the magic seems far too complicated for her limited learning!!

Now nearly bursting with curiousity, Lyra takes a few steps and walks right into the illusion. She produces a few blue sparks to get some vision. A few moments later, her voice can be heard from within the rubble. "Thomas, i think we could use a little light in here..." She then tries to illuminate the place again using Prestidigitation and looks around.
