OOC: Alright, lets try this again. I'll wait with the heartfelt reunion until we see what will actually happen.
Now that everyone has finally managed to reach or cross the gate, Lyra knows they better get the hell out of this mess, better in the quickest way possible. She extends her hand that is still holding the little glass ball, the bubbly, green liquid inside now looking a little murky due to the cold that slowly begins to cling to it. "KEEP RUNNING, WE'LL MEET YOU OUTSIDE!" she shouts over the sounds of the battle still erupting around her. Lyra hurries over to the gatehouse until she manages to get a clear sight on the wooden cranking mechanism. Once in place, she mutters a short and the potion suddenly crashes forward, flying directly towards the apparatus, until the shreaking sound of a slivering fills the air of the little cabin. She then dashes back to the gate, stopping right next to the heavy breathing figure of Lebenha. Lyra simply grabs the elf by her hand and hopes that her urgent tone will reach her. "We're out of time. Whatever happens, RUN! Run and dont look back, don't stop until we're out of this godforsaken hellhole!" She once again feels a vibrating power pulse through her veins as she draws on her powers, and locks eyes with one of the whites spots outside of the camp, every muscle readied to run for hear life. One heartbeat later, the two vanish on the spot.
Action: still Catapult the dragon fire into the chranking mechanism
Bonus Action:Spending 2 Sorc points to cast Thunder Step and port Lebenha and herself out of the campside, ideally for the full 90 ft.
Lyra and Leb blink out of existence as the wooden wheel begins to burn. The organic material begins to hiss and bubble the acid of the Dragon's Fire turning the wood into ash as it burns through it! The chain once taught holding up portcullis begin to slack. The deteriorating mechanism unable to hold the weight as the acid continues to burn! Quickly although the party watches as if in slow motion the portcullis begins to fall one side slightly lower that the other until it slams into the ground with a reverberating thud!
Lyra I need those rolls!!

Red Caster clenches his fist as Artemis falls the sleet storm disappearing.
Artemis death save 16
Green Caster moves over to the Blue Caster casting dimension door and they both disappear they reappear 40ft from the gate in 3/4 cover behind a large piece of garrison. A perception check of DC17 to see them.
Hmmm as per post 1443 Leb spell should be before both casters use dimension door to teleport, wich is in post 1450 and per your list of initiative at post 1436 Leb's actions are before the Chroma casters, specially the Red one that got Artemis down and even before the others that casted the dimension door to get close to us... and hopefully she could take one or two down or make them lost their concentration.
If the Blue Caster is able to still launch his spell at her, then she wouldn't be near Lyra yet, but 10 feet short, wich makes my idea more appealing.
Also I don't know if it's Leb turn or not, but in her poisonous state she can't make it indiana jones style. It wouldnt be an insta death but... nearly one ;)
Anyway, she will use her Fey step racial ability (bonus action) to cross just to the other side of the falling porticullis, still inside the gate, and use her action to help Lyra cross it grabbing her from her arms and helping her cross it, hopefully granting her advantage to it.
I can teleport up to 30 feet, and if the whole gate are 15 ft, and the porticullis is at the center of it (as they are used to be built) then it's within range and if she teleports just to the other side of the falling port is not "technically" in the wastes ;) The maths I am doing here are:
10 ft away + 8 ft from the port= 18 ft. Still in range. She doesn't want to go to the Wastes, just to the other side of it to help Lyra cross.
Is this a thing?
I post it on the spoiler not to "contaminate" the thread with descriptions that whe should change later... if this is a go then I'll post it
OOC: Racial bonus magic is not divine magic you'd still have the possibility of failure. It's teleportation which of you agrue the feature as not then Leb could have Fey Stepped out if the gates even with manacles on. The Casters were all together being hit doesn't prevent them from going on their turns abd casting. One saved, one halved, one failed. The action still happened correctly. Ray of Frost did effect your speed but Lyra was still able to move towards you with her movement after tossing the Dragon's Fire at the wheel. 30ft of movement. The gate is 15ft across. She was positioned by the gatehouse then moved to your spot then teleported which failed.
The spell fizzles at the gate leaving them both inches from freedom.
Lyra and Leb acrobatics checks to see if you Indiana Jones style slide under DC15 OR failure will result in possible instant death! Your choice to chance it or find another way out!
Portcullis dropping is 80 in bludgeoning dmg.
Warnick the gnome huddles on the edge of the Wastes, shivering with the cold and even more with anxiety.
I knew this day would come... been dreaming about it for weeks. Over and over, some kind of crazy winter battle in the camp. Spells blasting right and left... screaming winds and brutal weather... meeting the Father... finding Folzi... darting out the gates. I've seen this portcullis fall dozens of times. Each time, two people are darting out - Lyra and Folzi... Lyra and Lebenha... Lyra and Hrian...
The little gnome jerks with remembered pain, and his hands shake even harder as the trauma flashes through his mind.
Once the portcullis fell on me! Sometimes the partner makes it out... sometimes they get squished to death. But the one constant in every dream is that Lyra makes a beautiful dive-roll - shocking, really, as she'd never shown any real acrobatic skill - and ALWAYS survives the fall of the portcullis...

Starting at 2nd level when you choose this school, glimpses of the future begin to press in on your awareness. When you finish a long rest, roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw, or ability check made by you or a creature that you can see with one of these foretelling rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn.
Each foretelling roll can be used only once. When you finish a long rest, you lose any unused foretelling rolls.
I make my portent rolls in a private thread with AA. I used my first one on my Initiative roll for this encounter, and I'm using my second one on Lyra's Dexterity (Acrobatics) check.

Deducted the HP.
My point with the Fey Step is that she is not going outside the compound per se, just at the other side of the porticullis, not the entire gate, so she is technicalli inside the walls. The no magic-zone is so well defined? I mean, even if she uses her full range of the spell, she will be just 5 ft out the walls... not the same that to be as far as possible.
Still I guess we don't lose anything for trying.. let's roll!!
OOC: you have to wait for your turn to do that. It's still in initiative order. The gate's still shut and I allowed the Indiana Jones rolls as reactions. On Leb's she will use your post but she remains on the other side of the gate as Artemis rushes up behind her shielding her from the coming assault.
Lyra rolls under just as the gate slams into the earth! Leb remaining the other side unwilling to try. The party is on the other side of the broken portcullis looking in at Leb and Artemis as Chroma Casters close in.

Father Pat rushes back to the portcullis and attempts to lift it (Strength check 13) or break pieces off sufficient for Lebenhar to roll under or step through, shouting out to the others "Patrick Michael O'Shannessy NEVER leaves a soldier on the battlefield whilst he has breath in his body!" At the same time he yells out to Lebenhar "Chauntea protect this soldier until we can free them" as he casts Shield of Faith as a bonus action on the Eladrin.

If Folzi can reach through the portcullis to touch Leb:
Folzi rushes over to the gate, stretches out a stubby arm and grabs Lebenha on the leg. "Damnit, girl! You're messing up my escape! I've been waiting decades to get out of here." He shakes his head and exhales with a snort. "If this works, get your ass to back to the Mystra garrison and find your way to the walls." He pulls out a chewy piece of amber substance and pops it in his mouth. After a few chews, he begins to blow a bubble with the gummy substance, and with a pop...
Casting Invisibility - 1st roll: 38, 2nd roll: 65
As the spell fizzles and seems to have no effect. "Shit! Sorry, girl. I tried... Best of luck to you." The gnome begins to walk away from the gate.
Otherwise:
Folzi steps over to the gate and shakes his head. "Tisk, tisk tisk... I got nothing for you. Sorry girl. Hope you got a way out of this pickle." He sticks his crossbow through the gates and fires off a shot at the nearest incoming caster.
