Haldur and Lyra can't shake the feeling they're being watch by something from behind the party!! As the tunnel begins to narrow ahead then abruptly stops at a dead end!

Thomas' eyes widen at the revelation of the dead end.
"No. I was certain this was the right way..."

"We retrace our steps, find out where we went wrong and move forward. Thomas, do not blame yourself, the map is old and I'm not sure if it was ever perfectly accurate, now let's get moving, the cold is going to kill us by inches, we need to get above ground soon."
Hrain stands to the side in order to let Thomas past with his light to continue to lead the groups.
"Do not worry, this time you will see us to safety."

Vhon - Level 2 Warlock - What shall become of the Drunken Sailor?
Lyra carefully grips something within her robe and inconspicuously points her finger towards Thomas and Haldur, trying to let it appear like a normal motion of her hands. Befitting the sudden appearance of a dead end, she then turns around and repeats the procedure targeting the remaining members of the group. Everytime she points at someone, she actually mumbles a message, saying the following:
"Try and act normal. I'm letting everyone know, be prepared in case we're walking into an ambush. I feel like someone is watching us from where we came from, do you share this impression?" After conveying the message, she will wait for a brief moment everytime to hear a response, but will then go on and notice the others. If someone else feels the same way, she will add the name into the message.
Edit: just including the possibility than someone else gets the same impression.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Breath still misting before him, Haldur continued to soldier onward during the group's treck through the tunnels. He conserved his breath for the walk, preferring to concentrate on warming himself as best he could while remaining vigilant. He had heard the disconcerting sounds of the puddle continuing to try and follow the party, but all the members of the group knew of the abomination's tenacity and were well aware that they were not out of danger. He also had developed a lingering sense that they were being followed somehow, but he could not quite put his finger on just how the sensation was dawning on him. Call it a hunch perhaps, or maybe some survival instinct that had been sharpened due to the group's peril.
As they began to retrace their steps however, the mercenary suddenly heard Lyra's voice as close as if the girl had been whispering directly into his ear. It was a startling sensation and he whipped his head in her direction with a quizzical expression on his face. Her words quickly sank in though and he realized that she to was feeling the sensation of being followed or watched in some way. Perhaps the young lady did not want to alert whatever it was to their awareness of the situation, which was a very smart and tactical play on her part. In order to go with her lead of silence, Haldur chose not to speak aloud in response but instead just deliberately caught her eye and nodded a very visible acknowledgement to her message. He tried to convey with subtle facial features and body language that he to had the same distinct impression.
After silently responding to Lyra's message, the sellsword would continue to scan and listen carefully to the party's surroundings, hoping that whatever it might be that was tracking them could be identified before any sort of trap or ambush was sprung.
Perception Check, continuing to try and better identify the percieved presence in any way:16
Peering through the darkness ahead of where Thomas' light dies Haldur catches a reflection on a pair of glowing eyes before they disappear! It's about 60ft ahead of the group.

The mercenary immediately reaches out and places a hand on Thomas' shoulder. His grip is firm and deliberate; not panic'd nor cavalier, but a definite signal to the man ahead to pause and take heed. At the same time he makes contact with the cleric, Haldur leans forward and whispers very, very quietly.
"Something is ahead. Something... bad. We're in danger."
The young sellsword then releases Thomas and looks back to the rest of the party, raising his closed fist to indicate they should pause. The warrior does not risk speaking aloud any further, but by his expression and his body language, it is apparent that something of pressing interest has caught the mercenary's attention.
Edit was just to add the italics onto the dialog to indicate Haldur is whispering.
Folzi peers around all the larger people in the group trying to see. "Well we have a dead end behind and something bad in front... I guess we're going to have go through whatever thing is ahead of since we're trying to get to the other garrison." He makes sure his crossbow is loaded and readies his sword. "Anyone want to throw some light on the situation," he searches the ground for a lose stone for someone to illuminate.
OOC: Remember the tunnel is about 5ft wide guys. You can't attack side by side. Carrigan and Folzi could sort of pass by each other but nothing more than that.

Haldur just hears the glugging on the flesh cube reforming in the spoke.
Thomas doesn't find anything to help direct him further.
