“Well that got their attention” Karl mutters to himself as he enters a rage (bonus action) whilst simultaneously swinging Pacifier II Attack: 26 Damage: 8
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Ha! there you are bugs!!" exclaims Adrom and he casts again the searing fires of Moradin's Forge to scorch them while he moves into melee to lend a hand.
Having smashed one of the second spider’s legs Karl targets another leg Attack: 25 Damage: 12. As he pulverises another leg Karl says to himself “wonder how many I’ve gotta break before this bastard goes down?”
Unable to catch much of anything said from those in the 'fore, Vondal merely turns his next shot upon the one Karl struck last. With each one that land, he could feel his confidence build. But whenever it felt as if a stray eye was in his direction, the fear returns, sending an uncomfortable tingle down his spine. "You won't get my soul you eight legged freaks." He muttered under breathe as he loosed another arrow.

Karl brings his hammer down again, delivering a strong blow. He gets ready to attack again when another arrow lands, this one in spider2. The spider screeches before slumping and dies.
Nif fires another bolt, but his aim is off again. He looks up and glares at the sun.
Adrom prays for another cleaning flame from Moradin. (DEX save: 12, damage: 3) The flames lick at the creature's belly.
Daran says with a chuckle, "You've almost finished them, friends."
The remaining spider takes another bite at Karl. (bite attack: 12, damage: 7 piercing damage) The dwarf brings up his shield to block the attack easily.
"Just one more. Vondal. One more, and then no more.. We. Can. Do this!"Vondal stated through clenched teeth as he lined up what he hoped to be the last shop. "To the nine with you and all you're terrible lot."He proclaimed, loosing yet another soul charged shot.

Karl and Vondal, the first feeling cocky, and the second still scared out of his gourd, both miss with their next attacks. Adrom steps forward and swings his own hammer. The cleric hits, and the spider really looks like it's about to succumb.
Man, the guy can't hit anything today. It's gotta be the sun.
Daran tries a sacred flame. (DEX save DC13: 10) Yeah! It only had 1 hp left.
As Nif's bolt flies by the creature, Daran calls out to Chauntea, and holy flames envelope the next-to-death giant spider, putting it out of its misery.
Everyone earns another 100 xp.
The party waits for a bit, and Karl even pulls on the webbing more to see if more spiders will appear. When none do, Daran leads the group into the building. Daran begins searching the floor for hidden compartments. It's kind of hard, as the whole place is covered in webs.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
??? Save: 12.
Vondal, after taking at least a few moments to convince himself, properly rejoins the party. He still steadfastly ignores the spider corpses as much as possible, and would still occasionally shudder whenever his eyes happen to roam over the webbing. But in realizing it may take Daran a while in all the webbing to find anything, he gruffly states, "I can at least be of aid here." as he hustled on inside the building; leaving little to nothing uninvestigated within, if only to be rid of spider-ville.
Investigation: 10.(If roll is needed, passive is otherwise 17)
While Daran searches the floor, Adrom begins burning back sections of the webbing. It's slow work, but it's working. Vondal steels himself and looks around. In one corner, he can't help but notice a large shape wrapped in webbing.
Vondal quirked a brow, and then after a moment's pause, broke out one of his many daggers and approached the bundle to start carving it open. The long before he makes any progress, the gold dwarf is visibly sweating upon realizing there could've been a legion of smaller spiders in the bundle... and he had already committed to the act.
(@DDP: If you know mercy... don't let Vondal's fear comes true. T.T)

To Vondal's utter horror, as soon as the smallest of cuts is made into the bundle, tiny spiders start pouring out of it. Just kidding.
Vondal starts cutting into the bundle, finding it not too difficult. He immediately realizes he's uncovering a body. The body is shriveled up and sucked dry, but appears to have been an elf. It wears studded leather armor and a shortsword in the scabbard at its hip.
"By the welcome passage of the old friend."A relieved but slightly light-headed Vondal murmured as he wiped the sweat from his brow. "Wait, what's this?" He unstrapped the shortsword and drew it partway from the sheathe for inspection. "Bro'ver's! Mr. Daran. Come take look. It not that what we seek, but I have body here. Poor fellow did not listen to instincts like Vondal did."He announces without looking up to the others and shakes his head.
"If need time to rest, Vondal take time to bury this as well nearby. But if not, come back on way back. Unless elves not like burials... Admittedly, have not been as keen to learn as with other races so far. Which speaking of -- and I mean not to disrespect the dead witout returning favor -- but, what all think. Brother Nif is a skinny one. Think maybe wear elf leather's?" He adds. Once he at least got Daran's approval for keeping the items of the dead, he'd give it a closer once over for any pouches or the like as well, and then pull the elf out of the cocoon fully and set elsewhere for an eventual burial.
(You'd think with how much he's been committed to burying and returning the dead to slumber he's a future Grave Cleric...)
