With a brutality thus far unknown by the tinkerer to possess, Vondal beheads the cultist leader for good measure, or comes as close as possible. "Bastard." He murmurs, wrenching the axe free, before turning upon the only cultist still standing. "He had to go. You didn't. But you followed anyways... Now you die by the choice!"The words are punctuated by explosive movement, placing him just the flanking position needed to capitalizing on any brief window there to try and break a neck with a flying kick across the face.
Action: (Two-Handed, Lethal) Battleaxe - Attack:(3)24 Damage: 6 of Slashing at Cultist Leader.
Movement: To 7-L.
Bonus Action:Rolling Thunder! (Lethal)Unarmed Strike - Attack: 4+24 Damage: 9 of bludgeoning at Cultist(Pink). (Adv. is from flanking, unless I misread that rule's bonus)

Vondal's blow to the unconscious cult leader's neck does almost sever the man's head. (2 death save fails) The dwarf then runs around behind the (pink) cultist, kicking the other man in the back of the head, knocking his chin forward against his chest painfully. (5 damage)
OOC: I don't know if Adrom would attack the last standing cultist or not, so I'm going to say he moves to M6 and takes the dodge action.
Round 5: Daran, Nif (blessed), misc. cultists, Karl (rage), lead cultist (2 death save fails), Vondal (blessed), Adrom (blessed)
Daran moves to the side of the house (K8) and sees the lead cultist on the ground. "It looks like your leader has been dispatched," he says to the (pink) cultist. He looks at the party members. "Should we patch him up or let him die?"
(Good Moradin it's has been 5 days already? So sorry... Adrom would definetly attack the last one standing if we are in time to retcon or if not he will cast a Guiding bolt from his position ot give the others a boost:
Nif, Adrom's attacks were enough to take down the (pink) cultist. The only one left is the (yellow) one, which is asleep, but Nif wouldn't know that. Do you want to do something different on your turn? Oh, the lead cultist is still alive ... barely.
He then quickly bends down and whips out his knife "I taught you better than that young 'un"he says to Vondal. "If'n youse is gunna do a job do it properly"as he expertly slits the leaders throat "youse never leave a creature in pain - even if it is some dragon lovin' pansy!"he continues the lecture. He then turns to Nif "'e couldn't 'ave said much after Vondal hacked into 'is throat like that!"
Vondal huffs, and throws his axe onto a shoulder; eliciting a grimace, though he gritted his teeth past the pain. "My apologies Uncle for dividing priorities between getting the monkey off your back, and making sure at least one arse didn't have any other surprises for us." He states, somehow managing to sound both sarcastic but genuinely apologetic in one sentence. "Since you 'ave knife, and is expert on this, you can do final mercy for others, yes?"The hill dwarf's expression softens as he looks to the other cultist, if only just slightly.
"For as much as hate to admit, these fellows... they were more far gone then originally gave credit. Would only be matter of time before one of them came looking for revenge, if left to own devices. Mr. Daran. As they are closer to your ilk then ours, might you say a prayer for them as we see about burying or burning these ones?" He request. Regardless of the answer, and though Vondal at least had the decency to look reluctant at first, he at least started the process of seeing to their final rites, despite every wound and complaining organs trying to demand he do anything but! Once done with as much and bodies are turned over for anything of use for the journey ahead. Though it is with particular pleasure that Vondal burries the poisoned blades deep into the earth, and washes them with water a few times to make sure the poison was well and truly off them.

The last cultist gets to his feet and, seeing his leader beheaded on the ground, runs south.
Daran gives Vondal a silent nod. Curious, he approaches the leader and removes the man's mask with no signs of disgust. "Well, look at this," he says, still kneeling beside the head. Those that are curious look down to see an unexpected sight: While clearly human, a quarter of the man's face is covered in green scales. And the eye in that section of his face is yellow instead of white. The cleric goes about praying to Chauntea for peace on the fallen.
The leader was wearing studded leather armor and carrying a poisoned shortsword, a light crossbow, and a now-empty vial around his neck. The four cultists were wearing leather armor and carrying scimitars.
"Aggh that was a close one lads. This rats " says Adrom kicking the corpse of the closest cultist " would had warn that oversized reptil. I guess he will not be happy to know that he no longer has loyal servants... bah " he spits. " Come here lads, allow Moradin to heal your wounds before we proceed further. The idea to go after the dragon is still on your minds? For a moment this vermin got us against the ropes. Do not misunderstand me. I too want to take down that dragon, but I must be the voice of prudence here... " he chuckles " go figures... "
Vondal's search is halfhearted at best. For even following the revelation, if checking beneath the masks of the others reveals them to be more "normal", the realization of just how much they've been failed stuck with him. Thus so disheartened, he hadn't even tried to hunt down the last of cultist, believing their survival would be recompense enough. And yet, if the others do so, would not intervene in the slightest.
"... No, Brother Adrom. Not for me, at least. Though, I 'preciate offer, these injuries I think I will mend with bandages and time."Vondal had admitted, pausing in his dragging of at least one corpse long enough to answer. "As far as fighting the dragon, I think we've all had enough fighting for at least one day. I say once we've dealt with these bodies, as well as any others in town, we at least sleep on subject."He furrows his brows. "Though this does remind... Their half-dragon, assuming he was such a thing, mentioned having something for dragon. Seeing as that won't be delivered any more, mind checking the house for it? You too, Brother Nif, if you would?"

He will ready and attack and finish the leader with the say so of Karl.
