Short rest taken, 14 HP recovered (OOC: used 2 hit dice - rolled on char sheet - I think I should have done it here, let me know if I need to in future).
"I think we should also take the maps, they may come in useful. Who is our map person?" says Nif to everybody, before continuing to Nundro "Do you know of a door that this key might fit?"

"Oh, ve'll be taking everything we can, I imagine. Could be some time 'fore we return here, depending on how Gundren has fair so far. Which, just so all are on same page, we go back to entrance, avoid fighting where possible, and while catching Gundren up, we have a proper rest at entrance. A little camping in hopefully relatively safety, all things considered." Vondal expresses, and if need be after, saw to packing what was possible back in the satchel.
"Does not look as if Nundro is wake just yet. But time of essence. Brother Nif? Mind carrying him? And Adrom? I... Mind doing the same for bearded mage? You and uncle perhaps? I'll take point for the trip as necessary, seeing as my own hands will be quite full."He admits with everything else.

Nif says, "Yes, I'll bring Nundro along." and so saying he looks around for anything else Nundro may have brought with him, collects them (if there are any) and puts Nundro over his shoulder to carry him out of here.

You exit the big room, follow the halls south to the room with the still pool. From there, you continues south into the rough tunnels and end up in the pit in the cave you first entered. As you prepare to make your way up the ropes, Gundren appears at the top. He smiles down, looking relieved. "I hoped that was you I heard approaching," he says. His eyes catch sight of his unconscious brother. "Is that ...? Is that Nundro?" he asks, sounding both alarmed and excited.
"Gun-..."Vondal catches himself mid call up to Gundren, and looks about the two passages real quick before focusing again on the dwarf. "Yes, Gundren. Indeed it is us and your brother and an unexpected prize." He says, thumbing Glasstaff's general direction. "We may need help with getting your brother up. But, he is alive, and has been treated as best as possible." Vondal assures as he steps aside to let the carries better access the rope and see about managing the ascent. In the meantime, he would stand on guard until it was his time to proceed up the rope and join the others.

Adrom's stay on guard duty aling witth Vondal until only the two of them are left to go up. With a nod of recognition he goes up first and take a deep breath of the clear air.
"It's ok Gundren. He will be alright."he reassures the dwarf about his brother's condition. "He just need his rest, as well as we do..."
Vondal makes a point of pulling up the rope once all found their way up, hoping to keep any non-flying trouble from at least scaling up that way. Just in case! "Now that THAT has been taken care of." He turns back to Gundren and the rest with a tired smile. "I think we have many stories to share with you, Gundren! Chief among them, apart from your brother, comes with assurance of resting a little easier knowing that their captor and killer has been dealt with most thoroughly." He said proudly.
More than that however, the hill dwarf at least would refrain until everyone looked about settled in the area. That, and maybe to give Gundren some time to actual look over his brother and rejoice over the recovery. He just as happily leaves the story telling to others if any speak up prior to then.

Adrom fills that almost all his body atches. But he diligently help Nundro to settle and to prepare camp for the night. He joins Gundren in his storytelling adding here and there comments he is happy to have been able to retrieve young Nundro from its fate but he is worried about what Glasstaff had told them.
(@DDP: Not sure if the previous post got overlooked or are a bit vague in answering your question. But, I believe the general idea is to catch gundren up on things that happen, and then take a long rest at the entry of the cave to maybe give Gundren time to decide how he would like to proceed further about the whole Wave Echo cave business. We can also decide after the long rest if it'd be worth dropping Glasstaff off in town with Sildar be the next best course at that time, assuming no shenanigans happen in the night. And then return to settle up business back at Wave Echo, if any(again based on Gundren & Nundro's preference))

OK, so the story is told. Gundren is quite amazed and slightly worried when the part about Nundro comes up. He is mostly mollified to look over and see his brother safe and sound.
A reminder that the third Rockseeker brother's body is still in this part of the cave. Do you leave it where it lies for your long rest?

It takes some maneuvering, but everyone — including Nundro and Glasstaff — ascends to the main floor of the cave.
