You are in the cave where Tharden's body is. If the cavern where you are is a clock, you entered from outside at about 7 o'clock, the caved-in part that gave you access to the other tunnels heading further in is from 12 o'clock to 3 o'clock, and the gathering of sleeping bags, etc. where Tharden's body lays is from 9 o'clock to 10 o'clock. So, if you want to remove the body outside of the cave, you can do that easily enough. Do you just leave it on the ground outside?
(OOC: Honestly I had half expected that Gundren would've saw to Tharden's burial while we were away. We've been gone for a couple of hours bare min. But looking back, it seems I forgot to even so much as suggest it. Whoopsy~)
Having sat down ready to finally and truly rest, Vondal looked up half surprised seeing the remains of Tharden. Yet with the reality sinking in of reasons why, the dwarf took a moment to rub at his face before sitting up straight and addressing gundren. "I need not remind perhaps, but tradition usually states we see our fallen kin to their final rest in ancestral crypts. But if the Rockseekers... If you would prefer he be buried near this cave, Gundren, we can see to it." He suggests, but would look to Adrom as if seeking confirmation in all being well that way.

"I'll see that the proper rites are held so he can find his way to Moradin's Halls and Forges."says Adrom placing a hand into Gundren's shoulder for comfort.
Gundren looks almost as if he is breaking as he looks at the body of his brother in Karl's arms. "I was afraid to venture toward the smell," he admits. He closes his eyes. "I worried what I might find." He looks again at the others, his eyes full of pleading. "Forgive me for my cowardice, but it is as I had feared. Oh, my dear Tharden." He pauses to compose himself. Looking at Nundro again, he says, "I wish Nundro were awake. He would want to see Tharden. But I do think we should lay him to rest immediately. It has already been too long, by the smell of him."
"Do not mistake grief with cowardice my friend " says Adrom to Gundren laying a hand on his shoulder. "It's not easy to find your loved ones in that manner. Believe me, it's better this way."the gravity of his voice could lead to think that he is talking from experience.
"Let's do this together. You could have lost a brother today, but as long as any dwarf draws breath you are not alone. None of us is..."
Vondal nodded along in agreement to Adrom. Yet just as he rose to make ready to follow, a glance to the unconscious wizard sours his expression. "Though odds are in our favor, best if I stay behind to keep watch on that one, and not let his presence soil proceedings if he should wake too soon. And another eye for Nundro as well."He admits, cracking a weak grin. "I'll be sure to pay my respects later. Brother Nif? Perhaps you go too? A spare hand for shoveling 'n all that."He said, before then glancing around for any discarded shovels around.

There are, in fact, several supplies on the western half of the room: sacks of flour, bags of salt, casks of salted meat, lanterns, flasks of lamp oil, pickaxes, shovels, and other gear.
Nif looks up a little listlessly, having been lost in his boyhood memories, "Yes, I'll help." he says standing up. "Keep an eye on Nundro, I am worried about him." He then moves along with the others to help with the burial.

Outside, there is a little bit of discussion on how Tharden should be interred. As mountain dwarves (and the loudest of the group), both Adrom and Karl are at a little bit of a loss because there is no way to create a huge and grand cairn befitting the Rockseeker. They briefly discuss attempting to cave in part of the mine. Finally, Gundren speaks up, agreeing with the quieter Vondal, that a traditional gold dwarf interment was appropriate. (As a duergar, Nif has been unopinionated.) A shallow grave is dug, Tharden's body is lain in it, and then rocks are piled upon him respectfully. Adrom leads a short ritual, and then Karl, Nif and Vondal each share a story from the time they spent with Tharden. Finally, Gundren speaks a few words directly to his brother about honor and respect and the future. Overall, it's a short service because there are no drinks to share, and Gundren leads the group back inside to sit vigil by Nundro.
On the way back following the service Vondal makes mention -- or more accurately /thought/ to promise someday seeing to it that Tharden entombed in a cairn. Yet the words never leave his mouth, crushed as they were by the somber atmosphere. So in the end, he is quiet until the return, and for a time after still while helping in fully establishing the camp site. "We should bed earlier. Take watches still of course, but be prepared to head out come morning. Much to do back in town, after all. Better place for Nundro to recover too." He comments, breaking the silence, if noone else be willing to do so first.

Four of the five awake dwarves go to sleep. Nif settles in to keep watch. About an hour and a half in, Nundro begins making some noises. When Nif looks at him, Nundro sits up on one elbow to look around and locks eyes with the duergar. The Rockseeker narrows his eyes. "Nif? Is that you?" He sits up completely and looks around at the others, confused by what he is seeing. "Am I dreaming?"
"Yes 'tis I," says Nif, happy to see Nundro wake. "Do you remember anything of what happened?" he then asks. After listening to Nundro's response he says. "You should continue to rest until morning and we can talk more then, I need to keep watch." And he returns to listening and watching for signs of danger.

Karl will pick up the body and carefully and respectfully bring it to Gundren
