Devin hears a cacophony of voices from down below as one louder than the others says "but they attacked a dragon and so how can we trust them! I'm not coming up!"There is one final clang of metal on metal before a scuffle occurs and then the hatch starts to open. As Devin peers in he can see four of the cultists contorting themselves as they simultaneously try to kowtow as well as keep a fifth cultist restrained.
As soon as D.O.R.K sees the hatch open up a fair bit she immediately goes to grab it and help further lift it open the rest of the way... unless Devin bids her to keep from doing so. Regardless, seeing it open is enough to warrant the comment, "Good. You have seen wisdom. It would've been unfortunate had your disloyalty been noted, and your privilege to serve your master revoked... along with your lives."
With that, she'd try to head on down and give the restrained cultist a once over. "What is that one name? I will require it, so that the appropriate punishment is met out. I will also need some of you to again prepare landing or arresting procedures so that we may investigate the burrow below."

Mullo urges Haetone to fly lower, continuing her slow circle as she does so. Morgur's Mound. The Thunderbeast tribe — despised by some Uthgardt and almost feared by others — is a curiosity to Mullo. They had become the most civilized, accepting of outsiders, and even choosing to associate with them at times. Mullo had met a few of the tribe, but she had never ventured this far southwest. The shape of the Mound, however, was not a secret, and she was amazed to see it live up to the legend.
She scans the area, looking for a place to suggest the flying craft land.
As the hatch begins to open Devin grabs it and pulls it open. He wonders what he may know of such a group that concerns itself with dragon's that they seem to worship them.
Devin tries to recall what he has heard of the Dragon cultists. While it is not much he does recall that ...
Devin's recollections
The dragon cultists are almost as individualistic as the chromatic dragons they purport to worship. Most, if not all, of them are a bit nuts. Some believe that they must follow their master and mistresses commands to the letter, others believe that if somebody attacks a dragon it is their job to avenge that attack, others believe that dragons should be worshipped as living gods who can do no wrong, etc.
The mound is clear of trees and Mullo can spot several flat places among what look like diggings of some kind where the airship can land.
D.O.R.K. demands to know the name of the cultist that the others are trying to restrain and one responds "his name is Tralt." When D.O.R.K. commands the crew to get the airship ready to land the spokesperson says "um, about that!" looking across at the bulkhead where the thrust lever is situated. D.O.R.K. looks at the bulkhead and can see that the lever is jammed hard up against the stops under a word that says 'full speed ahead'. Furthermore it looks like it has been bent and a spike has been inserted behind it locking it in in place.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
D.O.R.K just stares at the messed up controls for a good few seconds, before then slowly turning her head about to stare at Tralt and the rest while pointing at said sabotage."His work as well?" She asked in a deadly calm voice. As soon as she a positive receives an answer, she waggle a finger at Tralt. "This shall be added to the report. May your lord have mercy upon your being, for you will fine none should the Red Knight be allotted to pass judgement upon your soul."
She turns back to start examining the controls, but not without remarking, "Not that you would care of course. But you never know. Outside the truly faithful, one's beyond is never guaranteed. And even then, we are not always spared a test of faith in the next chapter.... If you can spare the rope, see Tralt bound. We'll figure out what needs to be done with him later."
(@DM: Basic above goal of the check is her attempt at making sure that simply pulling out the obstruction won't cause further damage. And if not, but a check is still necessary to pull it out, she'd call over Devin to help her remove the obstruction.)
Tralt looks definitely at D.O.R.K. and tries to spit upon her "what would you know of a dragon's desires, you're not even alive! How can you claim to understand dragons when I'm told you and your friends don't obey their wishes and actively try to dry them away?"
D.O.R.K. examines the pin that's been hammered into the track of the thrust control. As far as she can work out drawing it out - if indeed she can do it - will not damage the mechanism any further. That said it is not possible for her to determine what damage it has actually done to the track and mechanism. She decides to see if she can remove the pin but is unable to get a grip on it. (OOC: the pin has been hammered in so firmly that there is only room for one person to try and grasp the pin - i.e. it is not possible for both D.O.R.K. and Devin to simultaneously grasp the pin)
Dragon cultists, wonderful Devin thinks to himself. D calls him over as he drops down into the hold. He sees what she wants to do and with a word he lays a hand on her shoulder granting her Guidance on her attempt. 2
Turning to the cultist Tralt he scoffs at his words. "So you allow any dragon to attack you even though you are under orders from your own dragon master to aid us? So you choose to obey the lesser rather than the greater? That dragon didn't care that you worship dragons. None of your fellows above volunteered to be that dragon's slave when it said that is what it wanted. That dragon killed three of your mates, no concern for you being a dragon cultist. Do you serve your lord Klauth or whatever dragon suits your fancy?."
Devin - Tralt was below decks. Three of four cultists - including the skipper type - died in the gas attack. Tralt was responding to what the survivor told him
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Having froze up at the initial declaration, D.O.R.K's own response is not a swift one. She stood there instead staring at the controls and at a loss for words until Devin spoke up. At which point she just looks at him for a moment, gives a thankful nod, and then fished out a crowbar in hopes of having it help in prying the piton out at the risk of further damaging the controls.
Strength Check(if possible): 8. (if at adv. using crowbar: 9.) Plus Guidance: 2.

"Do you serve your lord Klauth or whatever dragon suits your fancy?"Devin asks Tralt. "Who are you to challenge my beliefs regarding dragons!"he responds before going onto say "we're put here to worship all dragons and deliver on any and all of their wishes"Devin can say a few looks of consternation cross the other cultist's faces at this declaration of fanaticism from Tralt.
Mullo flies lower over the mound - all he can work out is that it looks like others have tried to dig into the mound at various points.
Between them D.O.R.K. and Ebonitus manage to carefully prise the piton out of the track of the thrust mechanism. They peer into the track and looks like minimal if any damage was done!
Ebonitus is able to move the thrust lever back to the stop position. However, whether the airship has in fact stopped is impossible to tell from his position below decks.

Yes
