Ilezenya plans on ritually casting Leomund's Tiny Hut around the group back in the cavern they found. Somebody else can cast the same spell if chimera's come within an hour of the spell wearing off so we have another safe haven if needed. Idea is to rest, and fight flying nasties or yakfolk but be able to retreat into the Hut.
D.O.R.K actually looks taken aback for a moment, before ultimately nodding and gesturing for the group to follow her back to the cave. In transit another message goes out to Torrun.
"Final message till morning. We invade at dawn once cages reopened. Rally and coordinate with the other slaves if possible in preparation... Take Care."
After which, and again in as low a tone as possible least too much be carried on the wind, the construct went on to flesh out the plan. "You will have to remind me on the limitations of this 'sphere', but I believe this will work sufficiently enough. If it can camouflaged, all the better. What I suggest will not be without its risks, as we are to post up towards the back in the cave, limiting our escape options, but lowering the odds of discovery, be it by the creatures or passing Yakfolk, until we're ready."She explained.
"If possible, we shall strike them once they return to hopefully rest for the evening. If a head yet remains awake and on guard at this time, then we will try to lure them close to them dome, before then make use of it for shelter in between attacks once close enough. I believe tying some of the bones with rope to pull and rattle will be sufficient. But regardless, despite the cramped quarters, it would be take them out within the cave, and make sure none flee, lead one flee and can later take advantage of its flight capabilities later at an inopportune time."D.O.R.K bows her head a little in further thought. Yet when her mind comes up with nothing reasonable in a short time, she'd settle for listening to any addendums the others might add until they reach their destination, and subsequently get set up for the ambush.
So in short:
-Step 1 - Re-enter the bone cave, hopefully with Ebon's Pass Without Trace still active to prevent non-magical tracking.
-Step 2 - Whoever has the spell can cast/ritual cast tiny hut in the far back of the cave, choosing an out color for the dome that best blends in with the surrondings.
-Step 2.5 - IF any have ideas for mundane traps that can be prepared to help further limit flight within the cave in the pinch, they can work on that while whoever is casting tiny hut is working on that. Additionally fashion a bone lure so when dragged along the ground it rattles plenty loudly enough to draw attention
-Step 3 - We wait in the dome quietly until preferably both three headed beasts return, or starts become late enough to force a need to take a long rest in shifts in order to still make it in time for a dawn attack.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The parry makes their way back down the stairs to the Chimera's cave and are the Chimera's home (50% chance - 15 | 1-50 = Yes / 51-00 = No). As they approach the cave they can see two large three headed creatures moving around on the ledge.
Devin nods in agreement to the plan that has been made. As they move back down the trail he quickly stops as Ilezenya gives the warning. "Stuck between a rock and a hard place I suppose. Can't sleep on this ledge. So I say we assault the Chimera and take their lair as our base of operations." he whispers to the others.
D.O.R.K hadn't needed to be told twice but intended to only back up until the last bend shielded the party from view. Only then would she start worrying at the symbol on her forehead again, muttering and waffling between questioning if the ill-timing of the creature's return to be a challenge of her goddess and borderline cursing Bashaba for intruding upon something that had nothing to do with her!
Devin's words appear to cut through the loop of frustration however, as the construct abruptly ceases to give the cleric a long look before nodding in agreement. She then held up a hand for silence, still wanting just a moment more to think and consider a plan. Eventually settling on the one, D.O.R.K makes a final preparation in calling upon holy garments to further shield her being, then says to the others quietly, "Though risky, it would best to fight our way into the chamber as soon as, as any clash will likely draw attention from the village, and prompt some to investigate. As well as limit chances of being thrown or dropped off the mountain. But let's get as close as we can, first. And where possible, target their wings. Understood?"
If all were in agreement(more or less), D.O.R.K takes point on trying to navigate as close to the chamber as possible without drawing direct attention before it came time to or the group to unleash the assault!

(OOC Sorry about this the image is in discord • Discord | #maps-permament | Storm Kings Thunder - TGR but I can't get to load. If anybody can help out with getting the map uploaded it'd be appreciated cos I've reached the end of my technical skill which was low to start with!)

Ilezenya Initiative: 20 On his turn, the dusk warden will cast faerie fire on the two beasts. (DC15 Dex save. Any attack roll against an affected creature or object has advantage if the attacker can see it, and the affected creature or object can't benefit from being invisible.)
Mullo speaks quietly to Haetone, but not so low that the others can't hear the shaman, "You must stay back, friend. I do not want the chimera to see you; you will be too tempting to them. Stay out of sight until we have dispatched the creatures."

As the party approaches closer to the Chimeras' lair the question is were they spotted - well lets see Devin = 21 D.O.R.K. = 8 Ebonitus = 11 Illezenya = 3 Mullo = 16
And the answer is yes at least xxx are spotted (NB Ebonitus' Pass without trace with a duration of 1 hour has long since expired!)
So who goes first Devin = 22 D.O.R.K. = 11 Ebonitus = 14 Illezenya = 20 (already rolled) Mullo = 4 Chimera #1 = 7 Chimera #2 = 2

Realising they have been spotted Illezenya immediatley attempts to bathe the creatures in Faerie fire DC15-Dex and (16) /(15) and both creatures are illuinated by glowing motes of light:
