"I ... haven't tested it," Jaylen admits hesitantly. After a moment, she shrugs. "Do what you wish." She turns Trayan around and returns to her regular spot behind Golem.
"Noted. We shall include testing the limits of such abilities in tomorrow's training." D.O.R.K states matter-of-fact tone as Jalyen retreated. She then looks up to Meiva on Golem(?). "Servant of Sylvanus Meiva. If you could move him off path to that location. As he would insist upon acquiring him as part of negotiations, it would be best to avoid such an outcome."She directs off to the side(mentioned in discord) with Jaylen soon following loosely behind. The request given, her attention turns to the hills once more. Her shield is traded away in favor of holding and have casually slung over a shoulder Door Knocker.
"Queries: Any final advice, my acolytes? Would this Boss be inclined to seek punishment for not joining his number?"She asks of Beedo and Vark, now currently stood behind her but adjacent to her.

Meiva nods once, then turns her attention to Golem.
"Onwards, Golemogote," she commands.
Once the two are in the area that D pointed out, Meiva prays quietly to Silvanus.
"Please, Lord Silvanus, allow this elephant to hide with the same ease as an elf, and allow me the strength, if battle comes, to fight with more ferocity than any elephant!"
Horatio defends the Bridge - well not quite! 1)As the rest of the party slips off into the brush to the, D.O.R.K., Beedo and Vark stand in the middle of the path about 25 feet in front of the ford. 2)After abut a minute they can just make out coming over the top of the hill in front of them three large figures in a roughly triangular formation. The two in front seem to be carrying some sort of giant crossbow, whilst the one at the back has some sort of giant box mounted on his back and shoulders in which four small figures can be seen moving around.
3) Initiative rolls (4, 18, 12. 9, 9, 3, 2, 20, 11, 3, 17, 13, 5, 14) 4)Initiative Order: Beedo, Devin, Toruun, Jaylen, Small thing in Box #1, Small thing in Box #2, Large Creature #2, Meiva, Small thing in Box #3, Large Creature #1, D.O.R.K., Vark, Slightly larger Small thing in Box, Large thing wearing box.
Beedo spares at least one nervous look to the others, but musters his resovle to shout in goblin over the window. "Bosss! I remember me?! It's Beedo and Vark! We'ze got newz fer ya!"He calls out, at least half-meaning his words. Even had his bow arrowless for now, but looked read to evade any shots his direction as a matter of course.

Beedo calls out but ... 1)There is no obvious sign that the oncoming party even heard Beedo call out as the driving rain and 20 mph gusting crosswind (-4 on listen checks) and the distance of 50+ yards makes it difficult if nigh on impossible to have a meaningful conversation. 2) Devin, Toruun and Jaylen - you're next in that order. What do you want to do?
Bad Weather and Stealth Rolls 1)The stealth rolls for the party have been shocking so far. The bad weather imposes disadvantage on all perception rolls. As there is no way I can impose disadvantage on a passive perception check, can everybody who is hiding (Devin, Jaylen, Meiva, and Toruun) please re-roll their stealth checks with advantage.
"Unfortunate. But, we must remain patient for now. Stay on your guard. And may the Mother bless us with either success, or a conflict worthy of furthering the grand stratagem."Though not a prayer in the strictest sense, the words nevertheless bolstered her resolve, and caused the crystals lining her form to rekindled with a red light. "And Ac-...." She shakes her head. "Friend Vark. Friend Beedo. Now is not the time for this. But... it must be said sooner than later."She looks back to the duo. "I am regretful of my previous neglections. In the future, if I should waver again, you need not my permission to call me out on this." Her attention turns to the Ogres as she steps up five feet closer to their position, spins Door Knocker around, and plant its business end in the muck.
"And in caser yer want'n to walk 'cause I started act'n a fool again. Won't be no hard feel's from me if'n yaw'll decide to take a different path in this here life."She says cheerily in a synthesized, husky drawl of someone from home.
(S/N: Very belated note, D.O.R.K have most of the gold shared to her from the hill giant over to the goblins in the previous day. Just stating it for the record.)
The two goblins share a look. But in the end, Vark's only response is to step up next to her, shoot her grin of comradery, then set himself up similar to Beedo to evade any long range fire with shield in hand. His other stays close to an undrawn scimitar.
The Ogres approach! 1) As D.O.R.K, and her two acolytes stand there in the driving rain, occasionally wiping the rain from their eyes, and observing the oncoming ogres they hear a single voice yelling out “right, left, right, left, no Billtell not left, left and left. Watch what Robinood is doing. Jumbo pick up the pace, your slackin off! 2) At the end of the round the two lead ogres carying the giant crossbows (Billtell - 1) bolts and Robinood - 5 bolts) in addition to the ones loaded in the crossbow have closed the distance by 40 feet and are now at where AE6 - AF9 would be. The ogre with the box is then at AG7-AH8. 3) As the Ogres are marching vaguely in step and not at all in time of the three of them only Billtell (1), notices D.O.R.K. and her accolytes. Robinood (14) and Jumbo (4) obviously trying to keep time have their heads down and do not notice the three party members. 4) Of the four Goblin riders in the box only Boss 'Ark wita G (5), and of his three housecarles first (7), second (4) and third (6) notice D.O.R.K. and her two accolytes. The first and second ones had ducked down out of the rain. Both Boss 'Ark wita G and his third housecarle peer closer at D.O.R.K. and her accolytes from a distance of approximately 100 feet away trying to obviously work out who and or more importantly what is standing on the road in front of them. 5) Other secret DM rolls (12), (10), (17) & (13) and more secret DM rolls (8) and one final roll (13). 6) Initiative Order: Beedo, Devin, Toruun, Jaylen, Goblin Housecarle #1, Goblin Housecarle #2, Robinood, Meiva, Goblin Housecarle #3, Billtell, D.O.R.K., Vark, Boss 'Ark wita G, Jumbo.
Beedo starts hoping up and down and waving his hands until nearly slipping gives him pause to stop. "I'm gonna go 'oarse at this rate." Beedo complains under his breathe, and then tries to call out for 'Boss 'Arks attention, gestures to D.O.R.K, and then throws him two thumbs up. Well, one thumb up following an awkward attempt to do the same with the other while still holding bow. At this point he has to put it away.
If he recognizes one of the closer ogres next, he calls out their name. He otherwise continues to stay mostly on guard to evade any sudden attacks.

Stealth for Meiva (with Guidance): 23
After concealing herself, Meiva attempts to move foliage and help to obscure Golem as well as she can, forcing him into a kneeling position.
Stealth for Golem (with Guidance): 7
And that's all I have to say about that.
Torunn's stealth roll as he sneaks off with Devin: 9
Jaylen dismounts and attempts to conceal Trayan.
Jaylen stealth: 19 + 4 guidance
Trayan stealth: 17 + 4 guidance
Jaylen obviously thinks standing behind a hedge of 1-foot-tall shrubs is enough to conceal them.
(OOC: I'm picturing the toddler who puts their hands over their eyes and says 'you can't see me!')
On a more serious note are we ready to roll with people's locations as per the map.
