D.O.R.K maintains her posture of openness. Though between the wind and rain pelting face, it would be hard to see a certain readiness to avoid a bolt or boulder if any came flying in her direction. She could be as patient as the stone. But, knowing the same could not be said of the rest, she lets her own voice join Beedo, and all but demands in a shout, "APPROACH BOSS 'ARK! I WOULD LIKE TO NEGOTIATE TERMS OF SAFE PASSAGE!!"
Vark stays at attention at her side, shield against the rain and ready to dodge at a moment's notice.

Ready Actions! 1) Devin, Toruun and Meiva already have ready actions which stand until called upon although I'm not actually sure what Meiva's action is! 2)Boss Ark wita G says "I knowed a Beedo wonce but 'e wasn't brave, more like Beedo da Skulker but 'e did 'ave a big nose. Especially you. Can't always feel good to have little folk run away from you all the time. Don't for once you won't to go a town, and have people work with you instead of against? And not have you drag them all over creation like those ones up there?"
Boss 'Ark wita G says "why would I wanna work wit da townies. Dere is always gunna be isolated farms I can raid and take wot I wont!"As for the ogres they just look confused at D.O.R.K.'s suggestion. As the Ogres lumber past, D.O.R.K. can see strapped to the back of Jumbo's howdah a large box on which is written the words Boss Ark wita G's treasa, keep your dirty fingers and paws off it!.
Two of the housecarles looking down from the Howdah see Beedo and thumb their noses at him, whilst the third one moons him. One of them yells out "look its Beedo da skulker, and 'es gotta walk while we get ta ride!"The second one says "loser, looks like ya wasn't on da winning side afta all like ya sed youse was gunna be!"The third one does'nt say anything as he is busily doing up his breeches.
Beedo had been silently fuming behind and loosely adjacent to D.O.R.K ever since Boss 'ark with a G called him 'da skulker', and outright didn't acknowledge is friend -- his brother in arms! But he put on his best professional air even as the rain kept further dampening his mood. Noticing this, Vark tries to motion for him 'to keep it cool', and got a 'I know, I know!' for it in return.
But noone -- NOONE gets away with both mocking his titles AND mooning him to boot! Not even his own muther! Before either D.O.R.K or Vark can react -- the later having been too busy looking at a box the whole time -- Beedo raised his bow and fired. The third housecarle, Mr. Full Moon, gets an arrow directed in the fattest part of his butt. Nothing immediately lethal, but certainly something painful enough to incapacitate if it hits. "Dat fookin does it ya tea leaf bastids! Beedo da bold ain't no losah! Since running wit' da new boss, Me and me brovah 'ere has taken owl bears, giant woofers, and out 'n right giants. Two of'em wit two 'eads dey 'ad! Ain't dat right, 'ark wit'a 'V'"
Wide-eyed Vark shoots a rapid look between the now uncomfortably close ogres and Beedo before firming his jaw, puffing out his chest, and nodding along with Beedo. "Woul'da taken down a dragon too if Boss Lady's friends weren't all gushing ova it! But not only dat! Since goin' on da straight 'n narrow you see, we been make'n more coin 'nd otha stuff 'en you wankers make in bunch of raids! So piss off wit' dat ya Arse lickers." He proclaims boldly, but doesn't get any closer than he needs to for that. "So there!"
Shortbow Attack: 9 Damage: 5 If at advantage cause surprise: 16. (Not accounting for the -4 penalty in roll, though probably should have)
Despite Vark's remonstrations Beedo whips out his bow and looses an arrow at the Goblins riding on Jumbo however he fails to take into account the strong tail wind (D.O.R.K. and his two acolytes had stepped to the southern side of the road) and the arrow climbs into the air and disappears from sight. The three Goblins riding in the back of the Howdah all just laugh at Beedo's ineptitude and one says "da skulker 'asn't got any better as 'e!" Another says for "all dere talk of da straight and narrow, dat shot was most definitely not straight or narrow."The third one having pulled up his breeches says "see ya round little not so sure shot"as the Ogres lumber past.
"Why don't cha come off your 'igh 'orses 'nd say it to me face, ya fookin skivers! Dat's right! I'm call'n you lug 'eads a bunch gobbo pets I am. W'y I ou'a -- Oi! Let get go o' me ya daft bastid!" He calls out first at the retreating group, then back at Vark -- who at this point got enough of his wits back to get his arms under Beedo's own, holding the slighter goblin back. "Beedo."D.O.R.K's stern command cuts into the fog of anger at least long enough to stop him from squirming free. "... what? I'm just say'n as it is. 'nd I feel like 'ave said this before, but ain't ya tall folk s'pose to be look'n out fer one another? Ya eve'n rose a big stink ova' 'e 'ole ditch'n dem last fulk back in da otha' city."Beedo asks, causing Vark to look up at the construct.
D.O.R.K lowers her gaze, unable or unwilling to answer. Beedo stares at her hard for a long moment. "Hmph. w'atever… So long as we still get paid."He claims nonchalantly, but beneath the words was.. judgement? Disappointment? Annoyance? Hard to say, but he's loud enough for the other clerics to hear his words as well.

After watching the ogres disappear down the trail Devin comes out of his hiding spot. He shakes his head in frustration.
"Crazy is what this whole affair has been so far. We collect goblins as partners and then one of them has the gall to try and lecture us about standing up for each other."
He looks directly at Beedo, his tone direct and strong.
"If you really think I'm in the business of defending a goblin's hurt feelings because some other goblins called him mean names I have news for you, I'm not. I'm not going to attack three large ogres to defend your supposed goblin honor. That's not going to happen. So just so you know how I feel I had half a mind to leave you on your own if you had goaded those ogres into a fight just because they hurt your feelings. But I like D too much to have left her out there. I'm not here to fight every creature that we cross paths with. I have no problem defending myself or each other. But I'm not going to needlessly fight what doesn't need to be fought."
Beedo snorts at Devin, and flicks a finger past his nose. "Well you a daft one ain't cha ya? Ya finkin its me 'onor I was gab'n on about at the end 'ere, eh? You got it fook'n made more than 'alf the time, so ya can spare bein' on the thicker side of 'ings. But dats aside of me point, mate! Me point was about dem talk'n 'bout more pillag'n 'nd the future, right. Even told'ja bit 'bout dis before. 'nd 'onestly we know boss 'ark wit a G well enuff to know he weren't gonna be dat mad over one of his arselickers catching an arrow in da butt. Might've thought 'bout sign us up, he would'a."
"'nd maybe I get punched by an ogre fer a bit. Still would'na been more 'en matter 've course 'en wit' me piss'n side ways fer a week at most. Beedo Bignose should know, as I'm da smart one. But me poin' was-.... W'at was me point again?"He looks to Vark, who starts to open his mouth, only for Beedo to clap his hands together. "O'! Now I remember now. Ma point is is dat ya know dey were gonna be up to no good, 'nd ya sat by. Knew dey were gonna make dis 'ole giant business 'arder on folk around, 'nd stood by. 'nd if dat ain't enuff, it got me finkin on 'ow in de fookin nine are ya gonna stop a bunch of giants... if ya don't take 'e time to grow a pair, 'nd, ya know... Bulk up. Do some good 'hile yer at it. Get 'er names spread so fulk want to 'elp ya out. 'stead of just.. I 'unno.. not doin' 'it. Again, fine by me. I get paid ei'er way. 'nd if ya don't want me words on a subject. Fine too."
"But unless ya god is like 'e Big M. 'imself. 'en ya holy men are s'pose to be 'bout doin good, right? So... ya gotta ask yerself one: Why da fookin are ya even doin' out here? 'nd two... I forgot two, but ya get me point now. Now if ya got nuthin else for me, me and 'ark's gonna get started work'n."And if there's no more, the two bugger off to patrol, and aid in coaxing Golem to a mostly sheltered spot, if no one beats them to it.
The whole Beedo talks D.O.R.K remains in earshot, but seemed to busy herself keeping lookout for Ogres and avoided looking at the others.
D.O.R.K does not seek to rest over the evening. After seeing to her usual closing duties in the evening, she found a spot partway by the road to start doing something in the dirt. Those on watches who grow curious enough to investigate see her shaping the muck with a trench shovel and mechanical hands. Sometimes they are lose shape of humanoids. Other times its terrain. But more often than not it is combination of the two as well as structures tactically scattered across the way.
It mattered little to her often the wind knocks down her creation, or the rain melts them back into piles. She just uses the opportunity to experiment with making them stronger using a variety of means. Sometimes if one listens closely enough, they can hear here muttering to herself the following over the course of their watch:
"They are too soft... Too weak... Too flighty..." "No.. Stay focused... Only the mission..." "So many small fires... A blaze inevitable.." "They were not sound, Mother. I realize this now, but.." "Won't be enough... Allies, perhaps? But who..." "Cannot afford to push... But cannot abstain..." "Mother... If not a tool, then what am I to be?" "I won't... Not again... They must be tested..."
The only time D.O.R.K isn't busying herself with her strange ritual, it is to speak with her acolytes on watch. Weirder still, she has them speak only in goblin, or converse among themselves. A task Beedo clearly relishes, if only to feel a little less miserable about the rain. Though judging by Vark looked dryly at the other goblin, most of what he had to say were complaints either way.
In the end, when it comes to performing watch herself, nothing short of a demand from those awake keeps her from returning to mapping out old places, and going on about missteps and future plans.
Devin looks down on Beedo with a look that borders disdain. When the goblin is done he looks at him for a moment and then bursts out in laughter.
"I really am being lectured by a goblin on doing the right thing. Well here's the problem your high and mightyness. You've already tipped your hand. Because in the end you're still a goblin and all you're in this for is the loot. Like you told them back there and like you said just now. The loot is better now and as long as you're getting paid you'll stick around. Because all you care about is the money. That's where your loyalty lies. There are bigger problems in the world than a couple goblins and ogres doing a bit of pillaging, not that you had much of a problem with it when you were pillaging Nightstone. So save me your sanctimonious crap."
Devin is watching from the trees. He readies Magic Missile (lvl 1) to target Boss Hark by surmising that he is the slightly larger small thing in the box.
Attack damage 11
He also is ready to cast, as a bonus action, Spiritual Weapon and attack the same target. He will again manifest the weapon into a bright blue star.

Devin will only attack if any of them attack first.
Torunn aims his crossbow at the big thing carrying the box, readying a shot with the hope that if he can kill mount, the creatures inside may get hurt from the fall.
Attack: 10 Damage: 6
Meiva quietly readies herself to strike one of the ogres with Blindness/Deafness, if necessary.
And that's all I have to say about that.
And if there's no more, the two bugger off to patrol, and aid in coaxing Golem to a mostly sheltered spot, if no one beats them to it.
Too weak... Too flighty..."
"No.. Stay focused... Only the mission..."
"So many small fires... A blaze inevitable.."
"They were not sound, Mother. I realize this now, but.."
"Won't be enough... Allies, perhaps? But who..."
"Cannot afford to push... But cannot abstain..."
"Mother... If not a tool, then what am I to be?"
"I won't...
