Flying Demons, Drow by the dozen, Giant Spiders a plenty, a powerful Sorcerer at a loss for words, a Drow-hating Paladin holding back an "I told you so!" and an otherwise cunning Halfling now finds himself in a very sticky situation. This is where our adventerous band of slave revolters left off.
Elmo - You're falling towards the spider web below with the Drow struggling to keep his grips on you.
Morgana - You're on the end of the bridge, closest to the Guard Tower that you began your attack from.
Gremryl - You're in a prone position, farther across the bridge than Morgana is, but a safe-ish distance from where the bridge is partially destroyed.
There are two Drow on the other side of the bridge, safely on the chasm ledge. One is a standard Drow guard and the other is an Elite Drow Guard. The Elite Drow Guard casts Levitate on the falling Drow Guard and brings him safely back to his position on the bridge before he fell over with Elmo. Morgana and Gremryl watching Elmo fall, what do you want to do?
Gremryl looks over the bridge at Elmo to see that he's landed safely (I use that very loosely here) in the very sticky webbing. Out in the distance, you seem to make out what could be thousands of glimmering cave rocks...or potentially a few Giant Spiders...you can't be sure which.
Looking at the webbing, it appears flammable...which may pose a risk or it may be a boon to Elmo.
Below the webbing, you see the pool that Elmo would land in. It doesn't look like a terrible swim from the pool to the floor of the cavern which leads to the West Passage.
"I'm thinking we cut through the web, jump down into the pool and head out the western tunnel. Follow my lead"
I then cast acid splash at the webbing near where Elmo is being held. Assuming it hits, I'm gonna jump down through the hole I've made and splash down in the pool below.
Morgana hits the webbing near where Elmo lays, restrained in the sticky webbing. The damage isn't enough to create a hole of any size that even a Dwarf could get through, although you do see that it looks weakened.
(if elmo beleives that he can land safely, he begins cutting the web around him with his short sword) I will roll a perception check to see if I can spot the safest place to land. And perhaps an acrobatic check to see how well I am able to contort my body in the spider web to cut myself free? Or 2 acrobatic, with the other one determining my safety? Im going to give some rolls and you let me know if I need to roll something different.

"You're shooting bloody acid!? Its fine gents, I may be able to cut myself free. I think I may be able to land safely. See that passage over there to the west?"
Elmo looks down and sees the grimy film layer on top of the pool. He almost gags when the smell starts to hit him. It's decades of chamber pot filth that hasn't quite filtered away to the Darklake. He does believe that falling won't harm him...albeit many baths would be required to get the smell out, he's sure.
Your restrained in the webbing and can roll a strength check to break free. If you PASS that check, you can make an attack.
Seeing the Spider... and finally something to hit with Stella and Bella. Gremryl gets stem spinning on their chains!!
"By Moradins Might, its about time I get to splatter some spideys"
Gremryl wants to attack with both morning stars using a bonus action for the second swing.Attack: 7 Damage: 0
Attack: 15 Damage: 0
hopefully I did that right.
Gremryl stands up.
How far is Elmo from me as he falls?
Yeah, where the hell is that little halfling bastard?
Hes about 40 feet or so away from you. There’s probably no action to take that would catch him, short of another Levitate type of a spell.
As you look over the side and down towards Elmo, you see Elmo landing in the webs.
If you want to look closely, roll a perception check please.
Gremryl rolls a perception check, just to make sure he's ok, before focusing on kicking some draw ass. 12
did I do that right? I have a +5 to perception checks
(Yeah, looks like you rolled that correctly!)

Gremryl sees this, and knows He's got some time to deal with these foul Drow.
He yells back at Morgana "Lass... what ye thinking! We need to deal with these elf's and quick"
(its Morgana's turn in the order right?)
(Yeah, she'd be the next to take an action)

What??!! Acid doesn't cut through spider silk!! Thousands of spider man comics have been lying to me for years!! **** you Stan Lee!!
would you say you have been in a "web of lies".... lol
XD
(It'll get through...but your level 1 Acid Splash isn't strong enough to get through it in one attack...)
Gremryl looks over the railing.. and sees the acid splash, slightly wincing..
He's contemplating following suit and leaping over.. looking at the drow...
""By Moradins beard.. a dwarf swimming.."

How far is the fall? is the feces pit the only safe landing? If possible can I cut the web strategically so I can swing a bit to where I want to land?

Hang on little halfing!! we'll get save you soon enough!
