Not sure if we should visit her first, then the wererats... or the other way around. (And then report back to Father Gurnik.)

It's been a couple hours since Father Gurnik left to 'commune' with the Speaking Stones to see what results your cleansing of the menhir produced. He had promised you a reward for undertaking that task.
Senni Diggermattock is one of two leaders of Blingdenstone, is still at The Foaming Mug and is about to leave.
Sark Axebarrel is waiting on Senni Diggermattock to leave. He promised you a diamond for killing the Medusa, but now looks perturbed at actually having to hand over a family heirloom. He's doing his best to stay inconspicuous as you all busily discuss other matters.
The owner of The Foaming Mug (Tappy) is hanging around, obviously trying to stay within earshot of the conversations you've been having.
Added the money. I vote for Skameros to add the diamond - he had the head as well.
A reminder that Beegred has been holding onto 1400 GP of gemstones, as a group fund. (It is the "gem" entries in his inventory, below "a treasure box".)
There were a few occasions where some NPCs wanted to barter goods, and I kept asking if they wouldn't prefer to sell. (They didn't, so the gems haven't been useful yet.)
I am willing to add the diamond to that collection, or Skameros can add it to his equipment list.

Oh.. I misunderstood then. I thought he went into Rockblight to examine the menhir there. Well I'd like to check in with him in any case to see if we've actually helped or broken the thing further.
Blessing of Protection: +1 AC and saving throws to your character.
Blessing of Weapon: one non-magical weapon on your person becomes a +1 weapon while you wield it.
House rules on these blessings:
the blessing of weapon doesn't make your weapon magical, it only gives +1 to attack & damage, and makes the damage magical. However, if your non-magical weapon were to hit a slime or something, it will still become damaged.
Either blessing depend upon your actions being aligned with the alignment of Callarduran Smoothhands. Stray too far from his tenets, and the blessing will be revoked.
Callarduran Smoothhands is the Gnomish god of stone and the Underdark.
The gnomes are generally neutral good.
So I'd say that actions that maintain a healthy ecosystem in the underdark and give reverence to the elements of earth would fall in line with Callarduran's tenets.
Beegred will act like he should get it, but the party should vote "no".
I'm good with Rodolfo getting it.

Not my choice to make, but since a lot of time has gone by, I am reminding you that you all were scrambling for a way to get Skameros a weapon that would do damage to creatures that are resistant or immune to non-magical damage.
But the blessing of weapon is a slightly inferior option, as it doesn't protect the weapon from something like oozes. It just makes the damage magical and gives a to-hit bonus.
Have we been told where to find Nomi Pathshutter?

There are some gnome locals hanging about too.
There is no point roleplaying Sark's payment of the diamond and gold any further. He pays up.
Beegred, Skameros and Rodolfo can add 50gp each to their inventory. As a group, you can also add a diamond worth 1000gp.
Cool. Added the money. I vote for Skameros to add the diamond - he had the head as well.
And I wasn't fully sure that we're done with Rockblight, wanted to check in with Father Gurnik before we take off on a new quest.

@Rodolfo: May want to edit your post.

Keep all the gems together - it'll be easier in the long run.

Oh, this is permanent?
Also - would we have a rough idea about his tenets?

Need to keep things moving guys. We have a player that is just watching and waiting for the opportunity to jump into the story.
Who is going to accept the blessing, and which blessing?
I mean the blessing of protection sounds much better than the weapon blessing - it just sticks to the character forever (I assume).
I'd love for Rodolfo to be slightly more sturdy - he doesn't have that much HP at all (27 with +1 in CON).
The blessing of weapon works the same way. It is not specific to a weapon, but it only works on non-magical weapons.
Beegred will act like he should get it, but the party should vote "no".
I'm good with Rodolfo getting it.

That's a good point - good offence is the best defense.
So Skameros goes for the Blessing of Weapon?
Is Skameros about to dual class in to a cleric of Callarduran Smoothhands hehe
That's fine with me
