When the PK ooze gets hit, is there a visible acid splash?
Some oozes splash acid when there is a melee attack. Some just melt non-magical weapons a bit, without splashing the attacker.
If Beegred won't get splashed, he wants to shift to using his magic sword.
(EDIT: Nevermind. I'll find out soon enough.)

(I've done a search on this thread, and I think I've gone through all the personality traits twice. This would be the 3rd time for this particular trait.)

Is there any indication of the Pudding King actually taking damage? I understand "structural integrity" is not really a thing with oozes, but still? :)
Lets say that the size of the ooze is definitely decreasing as blows are causing bits to splatter away from the 'body'. You are all pretty sure the ooze is being 'damaged' by most of the attacks.
I want to add, I know many of you didn't want to end up in a fight with oozes. My intention going into this scenario was never about all of you fighting The Pudding King at all. But I understand some classes don't have much else to do.
But this encounter is not about destroying the Pudding King.
Orubis conjures more stones for he and Beegred, throwing one at PK
I assume that was a typo, and the magic stones are for Skameros.

What's damage on a magic stone?

If I'm reading the spell correctly, ie: magic stone
The damage will be 1d6 + Orubis's spell casting modifier, which is +6? So 1d6 + 6?
Edit: Nope. I think it's TO-HIT: 1d20+3, DAMAGE: 1d6+3
Roger that

Yes someone ruined the chance to negotiate when they attacked the pudding king

Negotiations never entered my mind considering the scene we arrived at.
Exactly.
What were we supposed to do? We never had an opportunity to negotiate. Especially since we prepared for a large scale battle.
Paladin - warforged - orange
Sorry, I was not implying there was a diplomatic solution here. The Pudding King isn't a sane creature that can be negotiated with.
I am just trying to say it doesn't have to be all about applying damage to the Pudding King yourselves.
Either way, regardless of who does the damage, the Pudding King can be beaten.
Skameros is gonna do other things on his turn including, but not limited to speaking to his Gelatinous friend
