(I'm guessing that Beegred's 19 passive perception would apply for when he was sleeping. I don't think he can contribute anything useful to this discussion.)
Without bothering to see what is going on, Beegred mumbles something about keeping the noise down, and rolls to his side away from Skameros and Eldeth.

Skameros sighs a bit and turns back to the mystery voices and continues in Undercommon
"Skameros live with My Conads for a while, then the small folk show up..." he waves vaguely in the direction of their camp "Skameros offer to help small folk to find their way home, maybe Skameros find new home too. So we on the way to visit dirt nomes to see if they can help get the small folk to the sky above ground. Maybe dwarfs from Gauntlygrym know way to sky above ground?" satisfied that he is pretty sure he answered their question. "the noisy one back there is Eldeath she there to shoot you if you mean to Skameros...you know...just in case" and he gives a big toothy smile
After a pause, the second voice replies, still whispering only loud enough so only Skameros hears, "Your bugbear little ones be not welcome on the surface. If dangers be rising in the underdark, then be fighting them in the underdark. We also be having 'Eldeath' ready to shoot you, you know, just in case."
Eldeth strides out of the camp towards Skameros, repeating, "What be you meaning, dwarves of Gauntlgrym?"
As Eldeth emerges the other voices call out in a language that Skameros no longer recognize. There is a three way conversation for several minutes before Eldeth slings her bow and tells Skameros to rejoin the sleeping camp. Eldeth wakes everyone up, explaining that a scouting party of Gauntlgrym dwarves has crossed their path. The dwarves speak of Gauntlgrym closing their doors and securing all access to the city from the underdark, as many disappearances and unrest have been observed. Many scouting parties have been sent to observe the various cities to obtain information. The three here are on their way to Menzoberranzan and have already lost one to rampaging gnolls.
Seeing as the party are near enough to Blingdenstone, Eldeth shyly suggests that she would like to join the scouts and become their new fourth, as scouting the underdark to understand the dangers is why she left and was captured in the first place.
The party stayed together for safety while traveling. If Eldeth has found a new "home", then she should take advantage of the opportunity.
Beegred will ask (through the others interpreting) what help the dwarf scouts can offer. Maps to Bling would be nice. Advice on what to do, if the doors of Gauntlgrym are closed, would also be appreciated.
Beegred will also fish out one of the 100 GP amethysts, and hand it to Eldeth (as her share of the gemstones that were found previously).

Rodolfo is sad, he has gotten used to the language lessons with Eldeth. But people need to stand up for what they themselves need as life can be cut short real fast here in the Underdark.
The dwarves tell Beegred and the others that they are in the same situation. To return to Gauntlgrym, they will have to get there from the surface first. They also carry no maps that would compromise the safety of Gauntlgrym or Blingdenstone. Jimjar bets he can get the remainder of the party to Blingdenstone faster than any dwarf could.

Beegred: "Wait a moment. Your city sent you out scouting, but won't let you back in to report what you found? Sounds like your leaders exiled the lot of you, and decided to trick you, instead of admitting what they were doing."

Beegred: "We will be sorry to see you go, Eldeth. Your scouting skills have kept the group alive on more than one occasion. But you didn't chose us, and you should go with your choice now. Fare well."
Before the other group leaves, Beegred tries one last time to get something else useful out of the dwarves. So their plan is to get to the surface, and then to the city? How are they planning on getting to the surface? Searching aimlessly over miles and miles of Underdark for a passage up seems futile.
If there are signs to look for, or known ways up... that would be good to know. (If their advice is to go to Blingdenstone and ask someone in that city, the party was headed there anyways.)

The dwarves shrug and say that the ways of the underdark are always shifting as the earth moves some routes close and others open. They have to concern themselves with their primary mission and if they discover something worth reporting, they either have to find a way to the surface from where they find themselves, or find a way to magically send the report to their king.
The dwarves assure your party that Blingdenstone is near, and they absolutely know how to get to the surface now that Gauntlgrym is closed off. They wouldn't want to lead you astray and assure you Blingdenstone is the right choice. But they do warn that the gnomes will not trust outsiders, due to their history.
After saying their goodbyes to Eldeth, the rest of the party finish their long rest and wake up with one less in the group. Narstin takes the helm as navigator with Jimjar assisting and the party heads off. That day produces several dead ends and the group are forced to backtrack several times. The group settles down for another long rest with their morale a bit lower due to the lack of progress and the absence of Eldeth.
The next day proves fortuitous as the party emerges from tunnels with very little signs of travel, into another that would be the equivalent of a surface road. The ground is flattened, and filled in to be almost level, lichen and moss light the way for quite a distance. Jimjar exclaims that you were all wise to not take him up on his wager of finding roads leading directly to Blingdenstone on this day. Jimjar points in one of the directions and the party heads off.
During your month of travel in the underdark, you've become accustomed to the verticality of the tunnels, often needing to climb directly up or down, which greatly slows the pace compared to surface travel. However this road has been mined and carved out so the vertical ascents and descents are slopes, resembling a surface road over a hill or mountain. There are even block and tackle anchored to the walls, to winch carts or loads up and down these slopes.
As the day progresses, the party makes good time. They eventually find themselves in a narrow tunnel, barely wide enough for two abreast. There is muddy water trickling down one side, which seems to have been dug out like a ditch to keep part of the tunnel floor dry. You eventually reach a T intersection branching on your left, where the muddy water comes from. The drip and trickle of water echoes in that side tunnel, which seems to have no traffic. There is loose scree all over the floor and no recent tracks.
Ahead, the tunnel widens another 5 to 10 feet. A little further up, the left side of the tunnel opens, but it is not possible to see from your vantage point what is around the corner. From that opening on the left Beegred can clearly hear the shuffling, mumbling and clattering of a group of creatures. The tunnel is dimly lit by lichens and moss.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Beegred whispers to the others that he wants to quickly scout ahead. He will try to stealthily go to Q14 (or so), look around the corner from cover, then return to the group.
Stealth check: 18

Skameros turns a bit to shout back at Eldeth in common
"Maybe Dwarfs from Gauntlygrym maybe not - I trying to figure out...shhhhhh"
The bugbears head is starting to hurt from all this thinking

The second voice repeats it's question, "What do you be meaning 'get the small folk to the sky above ground'?"
Eldeth lowers her bow and asks, "What do you be meaning 'dwarfs from Gauntlgrym'?"
(At this point, the others can roll Perception checks to see if they wake from this back and forth, if they want to join this.)
Skameros turns back and forth between the voices in the dark and Eldeth clearing getting frustrated with all the questions
(and with that I'll wait for the others before answering anyone)
