Glynquinal raises Talon menacingly. He glares at the Bugbear with a fierce scowl. Thinking back to the underground cavern where they found what little remained of Thel, a fire starts to burn inside him of righteous anger.
To the Bugbear, "You have a friend of ours. We will take him from you. If you choose foolishly to fight all of us, remember....YOU wanted this fight. you can't possibly win"

Ian keeps a neutral expression on his face, but stealthily puts his hands on the hilts of his dagger and slowly slides them out. He readies an action. If the bugbear moves to attack, he will attack with both daggers.
HDP readies an action, if he sees the Bugbear move to attack, he will cast Faerie Fire. If the bugbear fails a dex save (DC 13), he is outlined in purple light, and attacks against him have advantage.

The bugbear's ears twitch, and then what passes for a smile crosses its lips. Suddenly, everyone is aware of noise from outside the door.
A goblin appears in the doorway and attacks Gruxx with a blade. (scimitar attack: 20, damage: 5 slashing damage) The creature dances away and a second goblin appears, also attacking Gruxx with a blade. (scimitar attack: 20, damage: 4 slashing damage) Now facing the door, the barbarian is able to parry the second attack. This goblin always dances away to make room for a third goblin! (scimitar attack: 21, damage: 3 slashing damage) Gruxx is unable to dodge the third attack. Through the power of D&D, the third goblin dances away and a fourth goblin takes its place with a fourth blade. (scimitar attack: 14, damage: 6 slashing damage) That goblin also dances away, and I kid you not, a fifth goblin appears swinging. (scimitar attack: 13, damage: 5 slashing damage) (Gruxx is now down to 4/32 hp) As the party is reacting to the repeated attacks coming through the door, the bugbear laughs and pulls his blade across Gundren's neck. (Gundren takes 2 death save fails and is now rolling death saves.)
(Ian, a couple things. You're not in melee with the bugbear, which means you'll have to throw a dagger to hit. You can't ready a move and an action. Secondly, you can only ready an action, bonus or move, but not an action and a bonus, which mean you can't throw two daggers. Luckily, you rolled high enough on your first hit.)
Ian strikes like lightning. The dagger flies through the air and slices into the bugbear's upper arm, doing more damage because of his stealth.

At almost the same time, Herr Doktor begins casting a spell. The space where the bugbear stands fills with a purple mist. It quickly dissipates, but Gundren continues to glow with a purple light.
Gruxx, you're up! The triangular ante room outside the door is full of goblins! The bugbear still stands. Gundren is bleeding out. What are you going to do?
The bugbear, unprepared for an attack from 10 feet away (and thinking it had the upper hand), doesn't see the glaive sliding by Glynquinal. It pierces the bugbear's abdomen with a squelch. The bugbear drops its weapon and Gundren and then collapses to the floor dead.

OOC, Your description was good. I never saw that post before I made mine earlier. Looking at when the posts were they crossed at pretty close to the same time.
With the Bugbear dead and gone and Gundren near death Glynquinal will quickly pull out what supplies he can and try to render aid. Tearing off a bit of cloth from Gundren he attempts to make a bandage to stop the bleeding.
Calling out to Herr Doktor, "Herr Doktor, Gundren needs your help." as he does so.
Ian sees the bugbear fall, and knows there is not much he can do to help with Gundren, so he moves to the door, carefully through the ball bearings. After Rocks atttack, Ian attempts to close the door (Assuming the door opens into the room, it should be fairly easy to close the door, I would think....Ian does have fast hands and should be able to "Interact with an object" quickly). With the door closes, perhaps he can use his action to grab his crowbar and jam it under the door, trying to buy them some time to regroup.
HDP seeing Gundren and Gruxx both bleeding heavily, lays hands on Gruxx, then immediately moves to Gundren, attemptsing to heal them both.
Action: Cure Wounds (second level) on Gruxx 16 hitpoints regained
Move to Gundren
Bonus action: Healing Word (second level) on Gundren 8 Hitpoints regained
OOC: FYI, HDP is out of second level spells until his next rest. So no more big time healing. He has a few first level heals left.

Rock huffs as he fills with rage. He leaps down from the table and slips on the ball bearings, falling and landing on his back at Gruxx's feet. He stands and attempts to attack the goblin outside the door by pushing by Gruxx. The human isn't as easy to push aside, and the dragonborn can't get his weapon angled right, so the attack goes wide. he then moves to the side (W6).
Round 9: HDP & Ian (10/21), Gundren, baddies, Gruxx (inspired, 4/32), Glyn, Rock (rage)
Ian follows behind Rock, carefully maneuvering through the tiny metal balls. Once Rock moves aside, Ian closes the door (why not?) and tells Gruxx to lean against it. He then moves to X6.
OOC: Ian, you can't cast a spell as an action and then another spell as a bonus action unless one of them is a cantrip. Do you want to heal Gruxx or Gundren?
OOC - oh man, tough choice. Thanks for the reminder - forgot about that. I will have to cure Gundren since he is bleeding out. I will modify my sheet to reflect the change. Please use the Cure Wounds number (16hp) for Gundren. I will save the Healing Word for another time. That would put HDP over next to Gundren, since that is a touch spell.
Will need to finish the update when I'm at home, but I'm ruling to use Glyn's first roll of the original post as his medicine roll (replacing the new rolled 9), so Gundren was stabilized by him, so Gruxx can accept HDP's healing.
