OOC: The hooded lantern provides 30 feet of bright light and then another 30 of dim light, so you can see up to 60 feet from HDP ... taking into account that light doesn't bend around curves, of course (but does reflect).
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
DDP, you tell me if this is possible.
Ian would like to try and follow the red goblin by going through the water. If it is too deep, he will have to swim (1foot =2 feet of movement) and try to do that stealthily. and use his action to dash. If he catches up to the goblin stealthily, he will stay in the shadows and not give away his position.
OOC: I'll go ahead and describe Ian's and Glynquinal's movements and you both can tell me what else you'd like to do on your turn.
Ian sees the (red) goblin at the top of the small waterfall (T3) disappear eastward and decides to pursue, heading up the stairs and entering another large cavern. This cavern is half-filled with water — one shallow pool and one semi-deep pool of water. A narrow waterfall high in the eastern wall feeds the east pool, which drains into the second pool — now mostly empty — and out the western end of the chamber to form the stream that flows out of the cave mouth below. Low fieldstone walls serve as dams holding the water in. A hole has been made in the westernmost wall, which is clearly where the deluge of water had come from (draining the west pool). A wide exit stands to the south, while two smaller passages lead west. The sound of the waterfall echoes through the cavern, making it difficult to hear. Banking around the corner with Glynquinal right behind him, Ian squeezes by a stalagmite (using 25 feet of movement to get to V5) and sees one goblin hiding behind the stalagmite and two goblins with large hammers getting ready to go to work on the wall surrounding the still-full pool. Glynquinal uses 20 feet of movement to get to V7) and also sees the three goblins.

Ian, who has stealthily moved into the cavern with the water (aided by the sound of the loud waterfall) will shoot an arrow at the black Goblin, then move in such a way as to hug the stalagmite at W5 and conceal himself from both the red and the black goblin.

DDP, how tall is the wall the two goblins are working on, and how tall is the long wall separating Ian from the yellow goblin?
Ian quickly fires an arrow at the (black) goblin's back. The arrow catches the goblin in the base of the skull, killing it instantly. Before it slumps into the pool, the rogue slides behind the stalagmite. The (yellow) goblin, surprised by Ian's appearance, doesn't notice Glynquinal appear behind it. He slides his rapier between the goblin's ribs, also from behind, then launches one of his daggers at the scrawny (red) goblin. The dagger sinks into the tiny creature's eye, and it joins its (black and yellow) companions in the goblin afterlife. The pool begins to turn red with goblin blood.
OOC: Glynquinal, I hope you don't mind me altering your attack a little. This does reduce your number of daggers by one, though, unless/until you retrieve it. So, if you don't want to do that, just say so, and red will still be alive and unharmed.
OOC: Shoot! I just realized something. You wouldn't have had advantage attacking Red. And the first die rolled was a 4. That means the dagger would have missed. Turns out Red isn't dead. And that was so cool! Oh, well, at least you now know he's pretty wimpy. Oh, and you do add the modifier to the attack roll with your off-hand attack; what you don't add is the damage modifier. So you should have added +5 to the attack and not +3 to the damage. Something to remember for the future. I just realized you're armed with a shortsword, not a rapier. Oops. Long story short: Red is still alive, but you're still down one dagger.
DDP, for your map, I believe Ian is still behind the stalagmite near red goblin. I mean, I like my new placement, but I do want to respect the fiction.
OOC: Ian, sorry, missed where you said W5 and picked the wrong stalagmite. You're there, now, officially. Gruxx, you know, you have three weapons on you that can be thrown. I'd allow you to hold your glaive in one hand and draw either one of your handaxes or your javelin and throw it at the goblin if you'd like to.

I tried to show the lantern light from HDP's position:
OOC: Thank you! That illustration helps!
Gruxx will move to Q,3 or closest point eligible if I made error in calculation.
Gruxx moves to Q3 and encourages Herr Doktor to catch up so the human can see.
Ian, you're up!

Stealth 22
I left it vague enough for you to calculate what square I end up at based on where the deep water is, and my extra movement from the dash.
Glynquinal will move to V7 short sword and Dagger in hand trying to run down the yellow goblin trying to join his friends.

Ian and Glynquinal, you're still up!
Glynquinal will try to take down the yellow goblin so he can help Ian deal with the other two before they can release more water.

Otherwise ... Round 2: Herr Doktor, Gruxx, Ian, Glynquinal
Herr Doktor, you're up!
OOC: I'm good with that. Would have done it the same way if I had the information you have on hand. Pretty nice.
OOC: Shoot! I just realized something. You wouldn't have had advantage attacking Red. And the first die rolled was a 4. That means the dagger would have missed. Turns out Red isn't dead. OOC: got it for action.
The Herr Doktor Professor moves 30 feet to T6. Seeing the red goblin still alive, he casts Vicious Mockery at it:
"What's this? Still up and about?
You must be the dumbest goblin hereabout!
The elves taught your friends to die,
A lesson they learned well!
It's time for you to learn it too,
And take your place in goblin hell!"
If the goblin fails its Wisdom save, it will take 2 points of damage.
The Herr Doktor Professor will then shine the lantern into the room, to light the way for Gruxx.
(That's the end of my turn.)

Herr Doktor's very clever poem of mockery is drown out by the rush of the waterfall, and the (red) goblin is unaffected.
Gruxx, you're up!
DDP, for your map, I believe Ian is still behind the stalagmite near red goblin. I mean, I like my new placement, but I do want to respect the fiction.
Gruxx will move to S,5 behind Herr Doktor.
Gruxx says, “Ugh, I hate these dern caves! Missin’ out on all the fun!”
