Perry looks horrified as Geode crushes the incredibly creepy doll. "Geode!" he says in a shocked and appalled tone. "You can't just crush children's toys like that! I know you are a large rock-based creature but try and think of the children Geode. That might be a doll that belonged to a little girl named Arabelle or something. Think of her Geode. Think of her."
The bard waddles along with the party, staying in the middle of the pack.
Geode shrugs and rumbles in response to Perry's rebuke, "Sorry."
Mari unlocks the door, and finds herself standing before a storeroom of sorts. Tall glass cylinders, neatly arranged in rows, Each of them contains a being. Various humanoid races mostly, but a juvenile white dragon is displayed in one particularly large chamber. They've all been vivisected, and most appear to have had their bones removed.
Each cylinder has a plate at the bottom, each lists a specimen number, and a date. Based on the dates you see, this has been going on for at least three centuries.

Poljen likes to think he is rarely phased by the evil and horrors they have found, but this one makes the big man blanch visibly. He speaks softly and gestures for the others to come look. "Perry, with what this...bastard has been up to, I fear the worst for the tiefling we seek. Do you wish to look to see if she is in here?"

Velon is amongst those in the rear as they pass the doll and he continues to look back at it with confusion even after the fact. Rounding the corner and entering the room, the red man turns white at the vile sight of the deboned creatures. Taking a moment in silence to gather himself and ensure the blood flows to his face once again, the paladin begins to look around for the red tiefling or anything else of interest in the room such as useful items, notable creatures within the glass, hidden doors, etc.
Mari goes pale at this sight. She backs away and watchs for attackers while the others examine it.
Lia grimaces at the discovery. " This is monstrous. Just monstrous. We need to destroy whatever evil creature is doing this. She turns pale and looks back behind them.
Morgaine following the group she also enters the room filled with the "specimens". She goes white at the site and has a hard time composing herself as she looks at each one. The tears flow freely down her face to see such an horrific act to another creature. She also feels an anger welling up inside her that she vows to avenge their deaths and destroy whomever or whatever did this.
Perry freezes as he looks around the room with horror on his face, "Why...why would they do this?" Per both Lawrance's and Poljen's suggestions, he snaps out of it and scans the room looking for the red tiefling.

Daishain, do any of these victims look like they might still be alive at all?
The jars seem to be placed in order of specimen number. Based on the dates, this room appears to cover "acquisitions" spanning about 75 years. Assuming your host has continued doing this since, there are likely several more spaces like this.
There's no sign of a tiefling in here, red or otherwise. Although in some cases it is more than a little difficult to be sure of the race of a particular specimen. On the far side of the room is a familiar figure. A porcelain doll sits on top of a specimen cylinder, watching as you move through the room. If its not the same one that was crushed in the hall, it certainly appears to be identical.
"Alright Lawrance, I think something's fishy with these dolls now. And not like a normal fish that you eat, no. This is more like a dank, rotten fish. If they were really all children's dolls, then they certainly wouldn't ALL look exactly the same. That would just be really poor taste in my opinion. So let's think about what manner of arcane devilry and nonsense is being used here."
As Lawrance begins rambling incessantly about his theories and arcane matters in much the same way that a parent does about their only child while you stand there awkwardly desperately attempting to flee from the conversation, Perry provides his input to try and help the wizard.
"Hmm, you see, perhaps the doll itself is actually a metaphor Lawrance. A magical metaphor if you will. These jars are the specimens, aka us, and the doll is Dr. Freeze looming above us, watching us, studying us...menacingly," Perry suggests as he nods to himself while grasping his chin to appear thoughtful.

Lawrance's recollection point to a fairly wide variety of... interesting matters involving dolls. Ranging from lingering spirits possessing inanimate objects, to malevolent curses, to rumors of an actual species that adopted such forms as a disguise. Regrettably, determining which, if any, of these things are going on here will require more information than the simple presence of dolls.
Mari looks uneasily at the doll. " I'll let you magical experts work on this mystery. I'll go check down the hallway with Poljen. She leaves the storage room and moves stealthily down the hall looking for more traps.
Mari and Poljen press on ahead of the others. Geode is slowed moving through the prior room, as his bulk requires him to carefully maneuver through the containers. Returning to a familiar corridor, it is noticed that the doll last seen here is missing.
The pair move up, Mari almost misses it, but she stops in time to avoid triggering a pressure sensitive portion of the floor ahead. Simply jumping over it should be possible, or it could be disarmed.
Cratol will step outside the room and watch back towards the area they have already explored to make sure nothing comes up from behind as the rest exit the room and follow along behind the scouts. Once everyone has exited Cratol will continue to follow as he watches the rear.
Rolled a 8 and a 5 so add 7 makes it 15 and 12 for spotting.
"Alright apprentice, just a little pressure plate trap here to disarm. Show me your progress on your trap disarming skills. Might want to get to it before our big rock friend gets up here and stomps all over the plate, you know. Don't worry I'll be right back here supervising the effort," Perry says. "Don't forget to keep a steady hand. Yup, yup, just like that," the bard nods as he gives his "advice."
"Pressure plates can be rather challenging, you know. I once stepped on a plate that caused a large pit of flames to appear out from under me. It was quite the alarming experience. Or rather it would have been if I didn't have wings you see. Don't forget those weird bits on the sides of the plate. Going to have to find a way to either jam or disable those bits," he continues.
Mari tenses up as she notices the trap just a moment before stepping on the activation plate. She holds her hand up to let everyone know to stop. Mari takes her tool set out and beginns working to disarm the trap. As she starts working she hears Perry begin to drone on incessantly. She grins and focuses on the job at hand.
There are a few tense moments, but Mari succeeds in disarming the trap. The hallway continues on ahead of the group. There are also doors to the left and right.
