Lia looks to Polhen with concern for a moment but relaxes when he doesn't seem too affected. She lifts her hand upwards and then drops it downwards rapidly while chanting. Bright flames spring out of nowhere and drop on the giant everyone is engaged with.
Mari studies her foe with curiosity. Looking for a weak spot she lunges quickly forward and strikes with both blades.
Mari uses her bonus action to attack with her off hand. She is attacking with advantage due to flanking and sneak attack is added to the first successful hit.

Velon and Lawrence fling fire at the two that just stepped out of the darkness while the rest focus on the surrounded Giant.
Several blows land, along with more of the small crossbow bolts from the drow mercenaries who are still hanging back in the shadows. The formorian is already looking rather beat up when Perry works his magic. The giant wavers for a moment before lurching away, moving along the wall of fire, and incurring several wounds as a result of exposing himself. Poljen hacks a rather large hole in his leg, and the fomorian stumbles for a few more steps before collapsing on his face.
But then the remaining two finish closing in, and the giant's clubs go to work, smashing down at Mari and Cratol.

Lawrance moves a bit to line up the two giants in a row, above the heads of normal beings, and fires a Lightning Bolt, still sustaining his Sickening Radiance, just in case.
“Can you tell me the difference between a witch and a wizard?" "Sure, a wizard is what they call you when they want to hire you, and a witch is what they call you when they're getting ready to run you out of town.” SunWolf replied ― Barbara Hambly, The Witches of Wenshar
Cratol sees the blow coming but is unable to dodge out of the way fast enough as he feels the club doing damage to his body as he is hit hard. He shrugs off the blow as best as he can as he continues to attack. He is focusing on these two new targets as he goes for the one on the right.

Mari tries to get out of the way of the club but the pain tells her she failed. The violence of the blow staggers her and drives the wind from her lungs. She strikes with her icy blade and then steps carefully away out of reach of her enemy.
Lia cries out in alarm seeing her two friends being hit so brutally. She holds her amulet aloft and sings out to Sune. A white light streaks out and enters Mari and Cratol. They feel some relief from the pain. Lia calls through their link, " Stay back you two. Hit and run, not face to face."
Lia casts mass healing word at 4th level. Mari and Cratol receive the max healing of 18 hit points due to Beacon of Hope being in effect. Up to 4 others can receive the hit points as needed. I am not sure if anyone else needs healing.
She attacks once and then uses her bonus action to disengage moving 15 feet away from the giant.

Velon doesn't like the pummeling his crew is taking and decides it's time to get into the mix. Striding forward, his warhammer begins to shine with radiance, illuminating the cavern further. Sorcerous energy starts to swirl around him as he rapidly accelerates into the fray, shoving his own party members aside gently if need be to try to get the attention of these giants. Hoping to get their attention further he yells at them "now face me!" The paladin takes one mighty swing, exploding with radiance if he manages to connect.

Perry grimaces as Mari and Cratol take crushing blows. As he opens his eyes, and looks over the damage done he says, "Oh no, that blood is not going to wash out the old fashioned way. Those rogue leathers and that monk outfit are almost certainly going to require magical cleaning."
He looks to the giant that attacked Mari with indignant eyes, points at him, and yells, "Hey you there! Yeah, you! You look like your mother birthed you into a jumbo boiling tea kettle! There isn't enough skin cream in all of the Sword Coast to fix your ugly mug."
Perry continues to radiate this beautiful purple fey light to empower his allies.
DC 21 Wisdom saving throw for Vicious Mockery on the giant that hit Mari. On a fail, his next attack has disadvantage (doesn't need to understand the words) and he takes the following damage:
6 psychic damage
Bonus action to give the following party members 11 temporary HP, reaction AoO free movement, and adv on next save: Poljen, Mari, Cratol, Perry, Velon, and Lawrance.
Lightning flashes out, briefly illuminating the dark tunnels that rarely see so much light. Perry follows it up with a few scathing remarks that seem to cut deep.
Cratol, Mari, and Poljen shift their assault to the next target, and are quickly joined by Velon swinging his hammer. The paladin's blow hits the leg hard, and there's a cracking sound as the bone breaks. The giant falls to the ground, clutching the limb.
The only giant still active and fighting swings at Poljen, but misses.
Poljen made his save and both the fear effect and the psychic damage is done with.
Perry's Vicious Mockery also just saved Poljen from a crit.
Mari moves back to a flanking position and her frigid blade strikes out. Moving lithely she moves away again.
Lia gestures yet again and healing energy streams from her to her friends.
Once again I am assuming Mari can get into a flanking position for advantage and sneak attack damage. If not then her attack roll was 22 with no sneak attack damage.
Mari uses her bonus action to disengage and retreat to her prior position 15 feet away.
Lia uses mass healing word at level 4 again to give Poljen, Cratol and Mari each another 18 hitpoints.

Poljen braces for the giant's attack, but at the last moment the creature turns its head to look at Perry. and the swing just misses the barbarian. Poljen sees this as providential and lays into the enormous foe.
Perry fistpumps as he watches the attack miss Poljen. He follows up with three slashes of crackling force energy from his blade on the most hurt giant.
The giant takes a rather savage beatdown, eventually succumbing to the blows from the party and crashing to the ground.
The two creatures still stuck staring at the hypnotic pattern are quickly surrounded and dealt with, brought down before they can fully come out of the effect and return the assault.
Vadim comes striding out of the shadows from somewhere, pulling a few of his crossbow bolts out of the neck of one of the fomorians. "Not bad, I think that dispels any doubts about whether your track record was more strength or luck. Looks like everyone's reasonably intact, so unless there's something else, we ought to get moving."
Dropping the last tendrils of the Radiance spell as the last foe is dealt with, Lawrance sighs and says "I can see why the Underdark has such a history. Ferocious mentally powered giants? Would they have a lair nearby we should search quickly?
During the next short rest, he recover some of his magic, refreshing himself against the next threat. He also takes the time to reshape Gamliel back into Owl form.

Velon too is curious to hear about the potential for the giant's lair. Otherwise he pats everyone on the back for a job well done and agrees with Vadim that they should get moving.
Vadim shakes his head, "They don't care about possessions beyond simple clothing and weapons, and they're nomadic, living wherever they want to lie down. If you really want, you can search through the refuse pile to see if they killed anyone carrying something of use since stopping here." The drow waves towards a pile off to the side, where bones, flesh in various states of decay, and feces are piled up in a sunken corner
Lawrance moves to the messy pile, his nostrils clenching at the stench, but he casts a Detect Magic and sees if anything immediately shines through the offal.
