"The mages and dragonkin will PAY for this insult!" Mufasa said. Just when the castle was built, they came to his land, and made his reign topple in a heartbeat. All that effort, brought down by strife and war just because he knew of the corruption the D&D realms were governed by.
First was the poison element seen as a base element, when it was really dark and water. Second, the ice stole the water element from the lands. Third insult, physical and magical powers were seen as together in the realms, giving power to the accursed titans. They gave promises to help him purify the D&D and realms, and this was the result - a destroyed castle, the milestone affinity lost, and more than likely, they were out to hunt for him to kill him.
But he was already a local legend. So, there was hope. Looking in the ruins, he found just three things. A pack, his smithy kit, and 3 days rations. it would do. Then he ventured off, hoping to find somewhere safe.
This statement is meant to be both provocative and condescending. Look at these pathetic huddled masses in their private and closed games, cringing behind the policy of no homebrews and no custom content. This is an insult and injury even to fire types. HEED THIS! Your better off playing rpgmaker. It's everything this place wants to be when it grows up. Seriously. Otherwise, good luck, they will overdo things. All because of safety and security... kor.
Mufasa found his way into a forest, trying to recall what happened to his kinfolk. They had divided, the dark and the light Cerudanians. One version had a dangerous charisma power that reduces enemy charisma rolls, and another had a booster, while he was forced into the middle, along with the plainswalkers who had barely fled their pride lands. At least the Cerudanians were revived thanks to the old genesis tree revived, but that was pretty much it.

Just a few mushrooms, and some pieces of metal... But it would do. Using the metal, he crafted a dagger. it would do for now. He was glad to have that kit now..

Mufasa was playing it cautiously. As he drunk from the water there, he sensed that there may be something there. He wouldn't take any chances.

As Mufasa entered the pub, the people there looked at him in a strange, ominous way, like something was going to happen.

Mufasa walked up to the barkeep, lightly oblivious to the situation. But the people here were moderately favorable to Cerudanian forces.
"Lawful, I take it?" The keeper said.
"Nope, chaotic good, trying to do three extremely difficult legacies. I'm trying to find the lost lab of Kwalish. But I fear there's few guides to that place... Not to mention, an even more difficult adventure in waterdeep if my guesses are right."
What could he want with those two places... did he know something the locals weren't even aware of?
It had to do with Solarian Blood. The leviathan would be discovered to have a single drop of it, now that it was most likely downtoned. If he could just get that blood and prove it was such, the gnomes and dwarves would side with him.

Not even a clue how to help... but at this number, the keeper had a tiny insight. "It's only a rumor, but the goblin alchemists may be back again."
Paying 1 SP, Mufasa said: "I'm immune to poison and disease. Do you have a special brew that boosts reflexes without a constitution penalty?"
He did. "Careful, Sangheim poisions are usually quite deadly usually. You may be prone for a few days."
Fortunately, it had no side effects. He waited there for a possible guide, but it seemed doubtful anything would come of it.

There was little choice. Mufasa had to just wait and hope he could find someone to help him find Kwalish. But that would probably be seen as heresy over the D&D multiverse. Beginning to look around, he noticed no blacksmith in town. It was perfect. Walking back to the inn, he said: "I'd like to buy a house for living and blacksmithing in." Offering then 30gp.
It was enough for amenities even. But the real question would be when someone would make an order, or perhaps help him to do his real quest. … more than likely, however, he was looking at a terrible dead-end no matter what he would try, and every ticking moment he wasn't in Kwalish would bring the lands to ruin.
How long?
