(OOC and for anyone curious as to Kat's motivations or why he's done things (kill Nine etc) this was an excerpt from a conversation Gmoat and I had back in October shortly after his alignment changed to Lawful Evil - I feel its still relevant now...)
Kat's motivations never changed - or even had to change - that's the beauty and flexibility of alignments - lawful doesn't have to mean holding oneself to the actual laws of the land....it can just be to a set of standards or beliefs or even an organization (if he belonged to one)
Kat's motivations have always been loyalty to his friends and protecting those whom he considers friends - where morality might have been a problem before when it came to that, his change to evil unlocked that door.
Kat will do what he's always done - protect his friends - now it just means he'll do whatever he has to in order to make sure that happens

Quaf instinctively conjures pure elemental magic in response ti is feelings. Crackling arcs of lightning sprout from his feathers and a mild wind is felt throughout the room.
Kat closes his eyes and tries to think, think, think...

(OOC - what's to say you still don't think you willed it away in to your ring? It did disappear.....I don't think it needs to be retcon - I just wanted to try and swipe it right as you were about to put it in your ring - but that's up to Gmoat - either way I had to try :) )
