(Just a few quick questions. How did they have advantage and wouldn't they still need to do a perception check or have passive perception that beat my roll 20 in stealth? Sorry this is just a subject that has never been made clear to me as i know all dms may do this differently.)
OOC: I'd imagine it was Phineas as I only rolled one stealth roll outside (not inside as Siobhan did with her second stealth roll) so you can blame me (Phineas) if you like. I tend to look stealth as very problematic in the party since someone is bound to fail a roll. More useful if a single stealth party member like a rogue announces s/he is going take the point to scout ahead alone while the others wait for the for the scout to return that it's all clear reducing the number of rolls to be made. The problem here is that if that one person fails then all the attacks are directed on that single scout instead of being spread out... unless the attackers were smart enough to be patient and wait.
@SheepsSong if this more or less the reason they I am all for both attacks having been directed at Phineas alone instead of on both Siobhanand Phineas so that first attack is sufficient enough to hit the Jester so let Phineastake 5 HP Damage no problem and we get to move the encounter along without a delay if everyone is open to this let me know and I will knock the 5 HP from her character sheet, no biggie. Sorry for missing the second stealth roll... my bad.
(I am not trying to blame anyone I'm just asking so I know for future reference. If Siobhan got hit then she got hit. I should have remembered to roll again for signs of of people before I went over to check the bodies.)
OOC: Whatever works but I really figure it was Phineas so no problem her taking the hit but however you like, no problem. I was feeling anyone was blaming me, rather just where most likely the problem of them being spotted is coming from. Phineas not overly bright careful in playing to intelligence so it fits. (Keep in mind I prefer playing her low intelligence as being crazy more than being just plain stupid). I was more pointing the problem with rolling stealth for the entire party, pretty doomed to fail as someone is bound to have a bad roll and basically in closed in room one person fails a stealth roll the jig is up for everyone in the room too so something to consider in future, etc on how we look to scout out things and move without taking forever in pbp which is already slow enough. So all good on my end no hard feelings at all, nothing is every be perfect or 100% smooth so just smile and go on. That my explanation for where things maybe went bad so maybe its wrong and not Phineas specifically and SheepsSong has a better more specific explanation. I am good anyway...
((they knew you were coming, the scuffling you heard as you picked the lock was them hiding, and kenku have an ambusher feat that if they surprise their enemies they get advantage on the attack, The stealth would have been how quiet you were, unless you were trying to hide from anything that might be inside, but that wasn't clear, and if you were inspecting the bodies there is nothing to hide behind. But generally even if you roll a nat20 stealth, if you're standing in the middle of a wide open room, you're going to be seen. Making a perception check to see if anyone was inside could have saved you the surprise round.
As for group stealth checks, I generally go by a majority. If the majority if the group passes, usually the group can get by, depending on any other factors in play.
I apologize for anything that was unclear. I can be a stickler for details, and any time you have questions or concerns please feel free to bring them to my attention. I am willing at this point to retcon a little and say that it was Phineas entering that spurred them to peek from their hiding places, and for that they both fired at her))

(Understood. Incan actusllymsee why she got hit since I forgot about the shuffling.... Inshould have asked more about the layout of the room so I could have found a way to move stealthier. I will hopefully be anle to find a crate to jump behind...)
OOC: Alright I went and deducted the 5 HP from Phineason her character sheet just in case if this not acceptable by anyone then let me know and I will remove it, just wanting to do my part to keep things moving along. Phineas, once we establish our attackers initiative and location (distance) is ready to counterattack on her initiative turn if close enough to both move and melee that will be preferable otherwise if the distance is far then she will look rely on her Fireboltcantrip. (Just heads up where I am looking to go and make my attack rolls when my turn comes around)
As Dolar watches his enemies reveal themselves, he moves to reciprocate their hospitality with a gracious gift of his own, raising his greataxe above his head before bringing it down on his nearest foe. Attack: 23 Damage: 14

Siobhan you fire your bow at one of the crow people in the back who fired at you and Phineas, hitting it in the shoulder. It lets out a rather gruff curse in response in a deep voice. Phineas you shoot your firebolt right after Siobhan burning the the kenku's cloak, and the smell of singed feathers fills the air.
"Move out!" The other bird in the back yells in a smooth timber, firing a bolt at Siobhan. (Attack: 18 Damage: 6 )
The other one takes a shot at Dolar's hulking form. (Attack: 8 Damage: 5 )
Two more Kenku with swords, jump from behind the debris closer to the door moving in for Siobhan (Attack: 13 Damage: 6 ) and Phineas swinging their swords. (Attack: 9 Damage: 7 )
Dolar, you move in for the one attacking Phineas (the closest foe) and bring your axe down across their backside, slicing them open in one fell swoop. The humanoid bird falls the ground, unmoving.
Sylelor, you're up, still just outside the door to the warehouse.

Dolar takes a tough shot from his kenku opponent across the room, causing him to immediately regret not taking a short rest before heading into his current predicament. After slaying one of them, he yells, "FIND COVER BEHIND THE DEBRIS! I HAVE AN IDEA!"
(As part of the same turn)
Object Interaction -- Stow Greataxe
Movement -- Right back out the door
(Noticed after the fact that Dolar used 10ft of movement to reach first Kenku. Instead I'll use his remaining 20ft of movement to get as close to the door as possible before dropping prone.)
Edited Movement --
On the following turn:
Movement+Action -- Crawl out the door and to the window
Phineasis not sure what Dolaris up to watches as he takes out her birdbrain attacker so she uses her remaining movement (current round) to head up beside Siobhanto help her against her attacker.
OOC: Note Phineasis just moving at the end of the current round to be closer to Siobhanfor the coming next round... since Sylelorstill needs to take her action/attack this round!

Phineas will follow Siobhan's lead and move into cover as quickly as she can, readying a cantrip to return fire at the Kenku.
