(I'm not Mankur, I'm Barosh, and I don't have darkvision so you guys are gone as far as I'm concerned)
(Er right, well mankur has darkvision, so he's fine :P. I just have to not get in the way while overlapping his aura to where it'll interfere with any allies without darkvision. On the other hand, I'm built for ranged combat and I can fly, so it shouldn't be a problem to stay more than 10 feet away from anyone I need to :P)
Laucian could see as they were in a cavern with pools of lava and molten rock, naturally so since they are going to the center of the earth after all. But then he clearly noticed the angels that are standing there, having waited for them it seems. The one in front is larger and obviously must be the more powerful one of the group. He glanced around, able to tell that there is no one else here to ambush them as well. He listened as the leader warned them to repent and turn around or to face their death. Laucian was about to step forward to try to trick these angels, but Barosh was too impatient and immediately went for a fireball. "We are above you. It is you that will be repenting and begging for mercy at our feet." he declared loudly as he then casted Synaptic Static at the same time, centered in the middle of the angels so that all of them including the leader should be affected by that, keeping his position in the back of this group. Hopefully these angels are dumb enough for this to work on them, believing that with having the surprise attack they can easily handle mere angels.
(Int Save, DC 20)
Damage: 28
(Half damage on successful save, but on fail save they have muddled thoughts for 1 minute; roll d6 and subtract number from all attack rolls and ability checks along with Constitution saving throws to maintain concentration)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(Let me get all this damage taken care of while we get out last two initiatives in:
Archy: (I'm assuming those attacks are with the claws on your armor right?) You lash out three times, the large angel swiftly moves out of the way once, then twice. The third strike just barely catches it on the cheek and a thin line of shimmering gold blood runs down its cheek.
Now lots of Int saves:

Deva #2: 13
Deva #3: 13
Deva #4: 21
Deva #5: 22
Deva #6: 18
Deva #7: 10

Whoops didn't actually ROLL for the first Deva: 19
(Messed that up - a Solar actually has +14 to its INT save so... 32)
(Since Celestials are my favored enemies (picked before we walked in there no less! Seemed like a safe bet as a level 20 evil campaign), would it be safe for me to assume Ileanys would know whether they have truesight?

Yes. I would say that since you are a Level 20 character and they are your favored enemy, You would know that the Devas are minor angels and have darkvision, but no truesight. However, you would also know that more powerful angels like the Solar DO have Truesight.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Current Characters: Tailine, Tiefling Rogue 2 - Zanoliv
Apparently I am inept at posting the Map here in the thread, but there it is. The gate opened in that corridor on the center left of the map. Also since there are more of you there are more Devas.
.. and she'll move to the left hugging the wall (north on the map) to the more open area. While doing so, she'll throw a cloud of spores up in the narrower area in front of the Solar. Spreading Spores : While your Symbiotic Entity feature is active, you can hurl spores up to 30 feet away, where they swirl in a 10-foot cube for 1 minute. Whenever a creature moves into the cube or starts its turn there, that creature takes your Halo of Spores damage, unless the creature succeeds on a Constitution saving throw (DC 20). A creature can take this damage no more than once per turn. (it's 2d10 necrotic damage: 6)
(TRS: The main group is 40 feet away. You would have had to move up to within 30ft of the Solar in order to cast compel duel. Archy ran up and is in melee with the Solar. Gilra has just moved 30ft north so they aren't in a clump with the main group)
Gilra: Just to make sure you are aware, if you place it right in front of the Solar you'd be dropping those spores right on top of Archy and whoever else might be there when your turn comes around. Though your character might not care.
Gilra will try to avoid her companions when throwing the spores, might actually get close enough to drop 'em to the side of the Solar where the little shits will run through it or something like that. But if the best spot has a friend in it then that's fine too.
(Seeing the map, I would like to revise slightly. Raze after going invisible will use that passage to the south to sneak around behind the Devas, making sure to be in the paladin's auras and preferably next to one of the devas that took the brunt of the fireball. 75' of movement should easily get me back there... Which would happen after Valraks' amazing fireball below.)

(OOC:Yeah, I'll have moved up to 20' away, then I'll give my next action+bonus)
Moves into melee range with the solar.
Action to use channel divinity Choosing all the angels within 30'
As an action, each creature of your choice that can see you within 30 ft. must make a WIS saving throw (DC 19). On failure, the target is frightened of you for 1 minute. If it moves more than 30 ft. from you, it can attempt another saving throw.
Before the shadows around Mankur reach out attacking the Solar
To Hit 18 Damage: 27
(Also the angels relying on sight have disadvantage on attacks against me)
