As Theos walks over, a strong wind blows down the trail. The sleeping man unceremoniously falls over onto the ground, the hat covering his head and face falling off behind him. The broken shaft of an arrow protrudes from his left eye, and a large red smudge beneath it indicates blood was wiped away. He was most certainly not asleep. His sleeve rumpled up where he fell and you notice long jagged wounds on his forearm. ((Investigate for more info)).
McFuddy: You don't get ADV for having high ground btw, I can certainly grant it, but it's not a hard rule from the PHB, just DM's discretion. My take on it is that normally I would consider it because it makes sense, but aiming into a thick forest against moving targets (even from above) would be insanely hard (and you're level 1). So no. In that case, I'd say all attacks at 150 or greater are at disadv, under 150 is normal. However, between perception and survival, you notice through a break in the trees where in their haste to flee they've bent over a sapling. You know that if you try to track them more, you'll likely find them, but you'll be out of eyesight of the party. What do you do?
WOW! never realized that wasnt in the PHB! good call dm.
Ill land next to that sapling, if i can see them from there I'll attempt a shot, if i cant see them, i will fly up and return to the party.
You land near the sapling and your suspicions were confirmed, the two men made an easy trail to follow but are out of sight. You're fairly certain that they made a mess of things the whole way to where they were going. Should you decide to track them later, it shouldn't be very difficult as long as you do it in the next few days.
I'll attempt to investigate the dead man's body. Investigation: 13
As you approach the man, the first thing you notice, as I said, was the arrow with the broken shaft protruding from his eye. If one had to guess, that would likely be the cause of death. However, the wound on his arm is also pretty gnarly. Assuming Liet is nearby, you can both deduce that the shape of the wound on the forearm is somehow in the same shape of that iron band that was around Albert's own forearm. On closer inspection, you notice his 'not pierced' eye is sunken and has dark circles around it, also much like Albert after he changed. The man's skin has a pale appearance and his skin seems to sag off his bones. The poor bastard was NOT in good health.
Nalla/Ruhkis, for doing your rounds please roll perception, then please roll survival for firewood.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

((What season is it again?)) Liet will take any darker colored furs that might be about his size to use as a pillow/bed roll/warmth when needed.
"Well all... since Nalla has started doing rounds, if no one minds, I think I'm going to use this time to get some rest. My brain is also tired after dealing with those guys. Please wake me up when it's my turn to keep a look out." Liet will say to the group. He'll then go under the wagon, pull his cloak, or new furs, up over his eyes, and ((assuming everyone is ok with resting... I'd like to get rid of exhaustion...)) fall asleep.
PERCEPTION for his round later ((without disadvantage due to having gotten rest?)): 11
Nalla and Ruhkis don't notice anything out of the ordinary on their rounds. And you were able to find plenty of firewood, it's a forest after all. (survival was to see if you noticed any naturey things of importance, but you didn't).

Nalla comes back to camp holding a large stack of wood. Upon seeing there is now a dead man lying on the ground in the area, she carefully lays down the wood next to a boulder and cautiously pulls out both of her hand axes, checking to see if everyone in the party is okay. As she sees that Liet is under the wagon, she quickly walks over, trying to seem as natural as possible. She stoops down and gives him a little jiggle to check if he's alive (which actually turns out to be a big jiggle considering how much smaller he is than her, haha).
Theos smiles warmly at Nalla. "The little one is sleeping. You should probably too. We're all a little tired right now. Who's staying watch? I will if no one else is."
Theos then sets down his items by the wagon, and leans back on it.
"I'll take mid watch. Wake me when your get tired, Theos." With years of soldiering under his belt, Ruhkis is used to sleeping on the road. Without bothering to look for a soft - or even flat spot of earth, the dwarf lays his head down on his axe and within a minute is fast asleep.
Perception check for mid watch: 13 (darkvision 60')

"Ah.. I feel so much better." Liet says while stretching. "Another night hike it seems." He adds while packing up his gear (including new fur bedding) and lighting his hand held fire. Then, looking to the group will say "So... I guess we should continue to the road? Any thoughts about those scary folks that grabbed me earlier? I've been thinking about those metal arm bands... There is something strange going on here. We should keep a good lookout while we hike. Anyone wanna help me up front?"

Liet would likely have followed Theos over. After that though he still wants to check out their wagon (and how it got there.. any animals?).

Liet: seems like a basic supply shipment. Nothing of particular value. Odds and ends, mostly iron ingots and some furs, a few barrels of ale.
McFuddy. The only thing of note that you see is that the wagon itself left tracks indicating it had come from the direction of CB.

You all manage to settle in and get a long rest without being bothered. Your weariness is gone, and night approaches. Regain any lost hp and hit dice.
@McFuddy - I count keeping watch (without doing rounds) as light activity, so this counts as rest. You don't have exhaustion either.
The sun is setting down the road to the west over Luthaan Anchorage, and a cool spring wind blows through the mountains.
