Like Drazzim, Utar tries the edge of the sinkhole just to slip and fall into it. He falls sideways on what feels like a jagged surface, taking 4 piercing damage. While submerged, the cleric notices two more things. First, something inside the sinkhole is giving off some faint, thumping light. Second, his hand lands on a softer, fleshier object; Utar's hand instinctively clenches and grabs something. The half-orc then quickly recovers, forcing his way out of the sinkhole and onto the portion of the chamber where Graxximus and Drazzim await. Looking at what he grabbed, Utar sees a tuft of matted, wet brown mammal fur.
Neya follows Utar and sees him falling into the sinkhole. She slows down, being ever so careful. Before making her way past the treacherous hole, she notices something is moving inside it. Something is following Utar out of the hole. The guttural noises become more noticeable as their sources get closer to the surface. Two grey-skinned, hairless undead monstrosities poke out of the sinkhole, ready to feed.
This all happens before Praxx has a chance to attempt crossing.
Neya uses her balance training to stay up despite the treacherous terrain. An arrow flies towards the closest ghoul, going all the way thorough its fleshy shoulder (Ghoul#1 - CMD: 8).
Graxx froths on the mouth as usual, and then shoves his entire greatsword though the torso of the other ghoul. It is surprising that the monster is still up (Ghoul#2 - CMD: 15).

Not wanting to miss on the action, Praxx follows his friends' attempts to cross by the edge. The gnome takes the south path as not to interfere with Neya's attempt. While moving, the bard makes fun of one of the ghouls foul smell (Praxx is not fully across yet):
-> Ghoul#1 WIS saving throw vs. Vicious Mockery {DC 13}: 11 - it seems to understand the insult, and it stares back at Praxx (Ghoul#1 - CMD: 10).
Drazzim then simply slashes the closest enemy:
-> Glaive (melee weapon attack with reach) vs. Ghoul#2: Attack: 22 Damage: 14
Its head is loped off (Ghoul#2 - CMD: 29 -> DEFEATED).
Graxx looks to see if there is a way to Utar without water but is sad to see there is not. Graxx drops his greatsword to the ground and draws his Javelin.
He tenses as he hasn't thrown one in some time but let's it fly toward the remaining ghoul!

Despite hearing his third companion fall into the water, Graxx continues to focus on the foe ahead of him. He launches a javelin at it, which penetrates its already-gashed sides. The Ghoul begins to look sluggish, and now has a javelin stuck in it (Ghoul#1 - CMD: 17).
Neya's trousers get snagged on some sharp rocks at the bottom of the sinkhole. She wiggles but only manages to pinch herself, taking 3 piercing damage. The monk is still underwater.
Above water, Praxx laces another insult with arcane intent:
-> Ghoul#1's WIS saving throw vs. Vicious Mockery {DC 13}: 12 - This time, the undead creature ignores the insult.
Drazzim uses his elongated reach to slash the surviving enemy:
-> Glaive (melee weapon attack with reach) vs. Ghoul#2: Attack: 25 Damage: 10
The dwarf nonchalantly lops a second head off in a matter of seconds (Ghoul#1 - CMD: 29).
Not wanting to take a dip like his stalwart dwarven friend, Utar attempts to follow Graxx's lead.
