[Awesome! And sorry, had some things to take care of this week]
With the team working together, things become a little more clear as they travel towards the last lead they had. When the fog began to clear, Makani was able to spot some cliff sides up ahead in the distance. Kathleen our the pieces together as to why they should head that way as Jason helped correct and navigate the others in what sailors would most likely do to travel.
As they cut through some heavy vines, Katznii sees some of the pillars beside them are no longer trees. Obelisks masked with tropical life seem to lead forward.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Katznii traces his hand across one of the ancient pillars, pushing away a thin layer of moss to see what may lie beneath. "Well these have sure been here for a while....but I guess their appearance means that we are getting closer."

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
The Aasimar doesn’t know much of Santhos other then the simple rights of passage when one passes. The symbols clearly seem the right age for what the team is looking for, but there isn’t anything to read, only symbols of dogs and odd runes.

"Good," Ria says flatly to Katznii, unslinging her bow and beginning to scan the trees carefully for movement. Glancing at Jason, she adds, "I'd be a lot sneakier on my own, but I don't know the area."
[Jason roll for survival check | Ria roll for Perception | and everyone roll for stealth if this is what you decide to do, I’ll make it a collective roll]

[sorry, this is a shorter post. DnD Beyond decided to reload while I was writing the post and I'm a little too frustrated to write it all out twice. ;-; ]
As Katznii studies the evidence of runes and several obelisks buried in foliage, Ria motions everyone for silence. She and Trinity prepare their weapons as they help the team weave like snakes among the dense jungle. The party slides through water speckled ferns, ducks under low hanging branches, all the while their movement is masked by the cacophony of cicadas. Jason's keen eye latches onto severed vines, and points out the tell tale signs of people. They all tread carefully, even Makani as he walks and glides from tree branch to tree branch above until they come to a glade patch.
The jungle gives way to a towering cliffside, stretching almost as high as the canopy around them. There, built into the cliff, a large door made of night black granite was carved out of vines and eroded cliff. Along it's intricate patterns, a stone relief of two jackals stand back to back, holding different objects as, at their feet, a humanoid soldier kneels, arrows protruding from its back. Beyond the door, worn tiles and stone built a slight staircase to it, the familiar obelisks leading towards the door. Just as Kathleen had thought, Santhos's Catacombs were built into the earth like a grave.
As Jason predicted, their eyes were met with what appeared to be a portion of the late Barossa's crew. Tied to precarious trees trying to grow into where the cliff met forest floor, a large ankylosaur surrounded by several horses. That was when Ria saw them.
One...two--five pirates were spread out. Two continued to do their best to feed the behemoth, taking care of the beasts of burden. The two humans had their swords at the hip. What really made the resilient escapee nervous were the two pirates scanning the perimeter. Crossbows were raised, but to the parties relief, at none of them. One had faintly green tinted skin as the other was a scraggly human; both close to the obelisks leading to the door. Finally, ahead of the door stood a striking figure of an elven woman. Her dark skin and long braided dreadlocks contrasted from the light stonework. She swung a blade nonchalantly as she paced on old tile. It was a clear sign they were aware people were coming for them, but had not seen the party quite yet.
Kathleen frowns a bit at the sight of the Elven woman. She stays quite and readies her bow just in case a fight breaks out. She tries her best to remain hidden along with rest of the party.
Readied Action: If battle begins (i.e Initiative is rolled) Kathleen will shoot one of the enemies.

"Does each voice have a name? How can you do that?" He begins looking Trinity up and down, as if searching for how he does it.
Jason would want to help, using his little knowledge of pirates and how they liked to operate, plus his bits an pieces of survivals skills.
Survival: 4
Katznii does his best to be helpful, even though this particular terrain isn't what he is used to.
Survival: 3
((Oh gods! -_-))
Makani uses his flight to reach vantages that may keep them on course.

(Since Kath is leading the party I'm guessing I need to roll Survival as well)
Survival: 3
(Welp. I guess we should roll new characters eh?)

Jason points deeper into the ruins, looking for signs of their target having been here or passed through.
"We should stay out here, we're to exposed." He keeps his voice low, but makes sure everyone in the party hears him.
