Estes, you don't notice anything under the chair except some small mouse or rat tracks.
Vail, even though you pat the skeletons head gently it makes a small cracking noise and then collapses to the ground like a skeleton jenga. Bones clatter to the floor and cascade off the chair. Amidst the sound of bones falling you hear the tinkling sound of metal hitting the floor also.
Searching through the bones you find a key. It is heavily patina'd also but looks in decent shape otherwise.
For anyone checking the passageway DC10 investigation or perception since you're actively searching for a door.
Saada, you don't really feel anything in the air currents but you investigate further around the room and then down the hall and find a small kinda notch near the top of the passage, near the dead end. It's difficult to see if you're not looking for it but once you know it's there it's pretty obvious. You're a little short to see into it but I'm going to say you're feeling brave and stick your hand in to feel around. You feel a handle. Pulling on it you hear a couple clicks as a section of the dead end wall swings open a tiny bit.
Vail, the key does work on this door. Give me a perception or investigation for examining the key though.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After the key turns in the door Vail takes a close look at the key under the light of his sword. He hears what’s going on out in the passageway but is more interested in the key.

(I can let you know what you see from my phone here though)
You've opened the door into the 'back' way into the room. It's the thickest area of webbing and you can see cocoons of wrapped up stuff. The room/cavern is approx 40'x60' with 2 large natural stone columns. Looking to your left Saada you can see a large spider about 20' away from you just turning itself toward the door. Some of the right side of the room is still obscured from view by the door itself.

Perception 5 Estes is slightly concerned that the group is trapped forever to become a skeleton like that poor sap.
Perception: 17
Saada enters the room, closes her eyes, and feels for any disturbances in the air.
“Shit sorry friend...”
Vail says to the former skeleton now pile of bones on the floor. He picks up the key and examines it by turning it over a few times in his fingers.
”Lets see if this is the key for the door here.”
Vail tests the key to see if it’s mesnt for the door they used to enter the room.

OOC: Secret Tunnel! Secret Tunnel! Through the mountain! Secret Secret Secret Tunnel! Yeah!
"Well well, secret passages within secret passages!" Saada smirks as she pushes the swinging wall far enough to see inside the passage(?) behind it.
There's some resistance pushing the door open. You can't open it enough to see what's inside. If you want to push it more it's a DC12 STR check.

"Oh don't be like that, we only just met..." Saada says as she pushes harder again the door.

She grins as the wall swings a bit further. "Now that's more like it."
Tauriel investigates around 12
"Hmmm. Hmmm. Hmmmm."

Vail: You don't notice anything else about the key.
Tauriel: You don't see anything other than whats been seen already
Saada: You get the door pushed open to realize that it was held shut by a lot of webs. Big thick ones.
We're going to initiative:
Sinjin: 5
Tauriel: 6
Tordal: 1
Vail: 6
Estes: 18
Saada: 8

OOC: Saada insatiable curiousity gets the best of her yet again.
"Ohh...that's never a good sign...uh, guys I think we might have a problem hear." She says as she sees the webbing.
While looking at the key vail has wanderered over to the passageway to see what the noise is about and sees the webs and Saada at the door entrance.
”oh ****.... quick Tordal, fire!”
(this whole -1 initiative isn't doing me any favors)
Ooc: also I know were in initiative now, when does it start where you can do one move, one action, etc.
if possible I want to try and move between Saada and the door, not sure how far I am away!
OOC: Does Saada actually see the creature that made the webbing?
got a map DM?
I do. I've been crazy busy trying to finish a tile job. I may not be able to post it until Saturday
