You are about half way across the fallen log when Kirinar, out in the lead catches movement on top of a building on the far side of the river.  Almost immediately he feels pain as an arrow embeds into his right shoulder.

About 100 feet away you can see a feline figure  with half cover on the roof of a house.

I got all the rolls messed up.  Damage was 24 total.  Listed initiative is correct.

(Rats! My Parry ability is only for melee attacks. =( Forgot about that when I started across the log with a shield!)

The fighter swears when an arrow is suddenly embedded in his shoulder. "$*#)@@(!! Sniper, on the roof, 2 points to the right, about 100 feet away. Keep moving, but someone give him a reason to keep his head down!" Caught in the open in the obvious trap he had already knew would happen, and not able to protect himself or the others, Kirnar dashes to the other end of the log and as close to the edge of a building as he can!

Ransyl follows suit and dashes across the log as fast as his legs will carry him. “Come on! Let’s get off this death trap!”

Timber is not far behind Ransyl, but just before he starts to dash across he casts blade ward on himself.

"Not much we can do from here," Keyleth says. "Let's keep going across."

With a burst of speed, she continues 105 feet across (taking the dash action with main and bonus action), looking for some cover of her own on the other side.

20 Bag of Nails pops out from his cover and sends another arrow at Kirinar

and Kirinar hears a arrow glance off of his shield.

As the rest of the party rushes across the log to get to the far side of the river and cover of the buildings Artus holds for a moment and fires 3 arrows at the attacker.

He then grabs a hold of Dr A and suddenly disappears and a moment later appears next to the buildings where Keyleth is.

"I'm pretty sure all 3 of my arrows hit. What now?"

Keyleth, Artus and Dr A are up next to the building that Bag of Nails is on top of.  The rest are about 40 feet from the building.

OoC: How far are we now from the tabaxi? Farther than 150 ft such that longbow attacks are at disadvantage?

You are on the edge of the building that the tabaxi is on the roof of the house of.  So effectively he has total cover and is unseen by you right now.

OoC: I totally misread what was happening. Was thinking this whole time that we were getting shot at from behind and were moving away. Hah. No reason for Keyleth to have spent her whole turn moving _toward_ him. Oh well. So the roof is, what, about 15' feet up? Is the building climbable at half-speed?

Keyleth climbs up onto the roof and looks the archer in the eye, trying to get a read on him (Bonus action, insightful fighting: 17 contested by his deception).

5 Deception

Keyleth strikes at the tabaxi with a pair of daggers.  The tabaxi is able to just evade the first but misses the follow up and takes a cut on his side.

The tabaxi, in retaliation sweeps out a pair of short swords and counter attacks!

Keyleth takes a light cut on her arm as she evades the second blow. Keyleth Con save 8

but the small cut flares in pain as she takes an additional 29 posion damage.

(I'll assume Keyleth will use Uncanny Dodge as a reaction to take half that amount)

Artus climbs up after Keyleth

Dr A traces a stick like tattoo of a person/figure on his wrist and mutters "Mystara grant me your blessing and hold this opponent still!" as he casts Hold Person at the Tabaxi (DC 14 - Wisdom)  

OoC: Dr. A still had a turn before Keyleth's climb+attack. So if the hold is successful, Keyleth's attacks would become crits and the attacks on her wouldn't have been able to happen, presumably?

OoC: And yes, on Uncanny Dodge

 Dr A moves into a position and casting his spell holds the tabaxi in place.

Keyleth can roll an advantage roll for the missed attack, roll all the damage dice again for the one hit.

If her advantage roll hits then roll the extra damage for the crit.

Ransyl looks for a way to the top of the building that doesn’t require climbing.
