Grimbeard feeling nervous for Gundren's safety. " If they do have Gundren, then I don't know how much time we have. But then again, why would they take him captive instead of killing him? I'd say we push on, but I know we have some among us you need a rest. Perhaps, I am thinking with my gut and someone else should make this decision."

As Maive and Umbutu lead the party along the goblin's path, stopping periodically to discern the direction of the trail in the dying light, Ivolyn nervously eyes the deepening shawdows of evening around them. Perception:17
"I am well enough to travel on if you all wish," Ivolyn adds. "And I can produce a Light to help you follow the trail if you wish." Ivolyn pauses a beat before adding with a thoughtful expression, "perhaps a red or violet light that would not attract as much attention as a bright white light."
Lorskan brings up the rear, keeping his hand on his sword "Ivolyn you would be correct, to much light will give our position away try to range the light ahead of us a nice purple or blue would be good. If we stop then we should make sure to keep watch, two at a time, no fires"
Umbutu sighs. "I do not enjoy leaving Indlovu behind, even for a few hours. But he cannot continue down this narrow trail." Umbutu walks over to Indlovu and whispers a few words in his ear. The might elephant falls on it's side with a thud which shakes the leaves from the trees and lies there patiently.
Ivolyn considers Lorskan's words about the light source. She scoops up a small, palm-sized stone from beside the trail and drops into a pocket on her robe in case those in front need more light later. With her mistake of darting into an ambush unknowingly still fresh in her mind, Ivolyn slips into the 3rd or 4th position of the single file line. A small knot of fear sits heavy in her stomach. She doesn't speak, and only nods if one of the others indicate something to her. She assumes they all have far more experience in this sort of thing than she does. Looking and listening for any movement outside her party's progress, Ivolyn instinctively tries to breath more shallowly to quiet her approach.

"This is the way." Maive stands up and walks in the direction of the trail.
Umbutu claps Maive on the shoulder. "It appears our bard has some ranger in him. Shall we camp here for the night, or press on?"
