Agamemnon watches the game with displeasure. "It seems to me," He rumbles to Seldor, "That our companions will be of less help if they are missing their fingers." He lumbers over to the table and lifts Strife into the air by his cloak. "Come, stunted dragon man. We have need of you and your fingers yet."
You all leave the Tavern and make your way back to the Misty Matron. Along the way you decide to cut through an open air market to save time.
Exotic sights and sounds surround you. Strange animals squawk and glare at you from dark cages atop tables littered with various items. A fat tabaxi man lounges on a pile of thick cushions beneath which lies an ornately woven carpet. Two beautiful tabaxi women fan him with large green leaves as he idly drops coins into a pouch on his lap; a look of perfect contentment upon his face. You stand before him for a few seconds before he says,
“Feel free to browse my friends. You’ll not find these items anywhere else in Waterdeep, I assure you.” Never taking his eyes from the coin dropping at hand.
There are only one of each of the following items and animals for sale, so fight or roll amongst yourselves to see who gets what! Seldor, you passed through here as well so feel free to browse.

(damn it I wish I had more money! So much cool stuff.. the bone wand the the ring.... hmmmm)
Strife would bounce over to the table and examine the goods. Picking up the smoldering ring, he would hold it in his hands for a moment before pulling out his coin bag. The kobold would then move and pick up the thorny ring as well. Taking both items to the large tabaxi, he would place them down on the counter. "Would you take 54 gold coins for the two of these items?" The kobold would say holding his tail in his hands and giving them a sad look. "I would really appreciate it! I promise I would show off the rings to everyone around and always tell them where I bought them!"
Persuasion if it helps? 14
(ddaammmnnnn it nooooooeeeezz!!!! Firespells is all I do lol :P )
(we can RP over who gets it lol! It is a game so we can debate as characters if ya want, or you can buy it and then Strife may buy it from you for 40 gold lol)
(All of my offensive spells are fire lol, I am trying to make him like he is a brass dragon so I looked up what a brass dragon does / gets as far as spells and am trying to go that way. That was why I bought a sling and wanted a nice dagger because If we go up against anything that is resistant to fire I am going to have to get creative. I know when I use my dragonbreath spell I can choose stuff other than fire but fire is going to be the GO TO)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Lady Susanne says to the item vendor, "you wouldn't happen to have any special shields, swords, or armor pieces by any chance would you? Maybe something you had not put out for regular sale at the moment, and for a decent price...?"
Strife, the Tabaxi man doesn't bother to look up from his coin counting as he says "Sixty gold." A few more coins drop and he says "Time is money, friend."
The kobold puts the spiked ring down and hands the man 35 gold for the smoldering ring "Thanks!" Strife will say with a smile as he puts the ring on his finger.
Lady Susanne, the sounds of coins dropping suddenly stops and the Tabaxi actually looks up at you. His yellow eyes study your face for a bit and a broad grin slowly spreads across his face. "I might have a special stock of items for those with enough coin to cover certain... expenses... and wise enough not to question the... the man shrugs and spreads his hands "...methods of their acquisition."
He raises an eyebrow and wears a sly smirk as he awaits your response.
The Tabaxi motions to the two women fanning him and they stop, laying the large green leaves across their knees and remaining kneeling. "Watch the stall, I'll be back." says the man and he stands. He beckons you to follow him into a nearby alley behind his stall. He casually looks around before slipping into the darkness. You follow him to a nondescript door and watch as he produces a key from his robes and unlock the door. You both step inside and he mutters an arcane incantation, causing a ball of blue flame to appear in his hand. It floats upward, casting dim light in the small room. He opens a crate and inside you see an array of fine looking arms and armor. He says "250 for two. 300 for all."
Crusader's Armor
A set of armor that shines dimly with divine light when it deflects a blow. Once per short rest, a paladin attuned to the armor can use their Channel Divinity to cause the armor to shine brightly with divinity, calling to a creature to submit to its power. You may force a creature that can see and hear you within 60 ft. to make a CHA saving throw with a DC equal to your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature drops to their knees and bows to you in submission until your next turn. Regardless of the result of the saving throw, the creature takes 1d8 psychic damage. The Paladin must spend a short rest praying over their armor to restore the charge.
Shield of the Faithful
Requires attunement. When the weilder is missed by an attack, they can expend a charge and cause the shield to flash with divine light. The attacking creature gains disadvantage on all attack rolls until the end of their next turn. 3 charges that recharge after a long rest.
Signet of Baal
Requires attunement. The wearer of this ring can expend a charge, allowing them to roll 1d20 whenever they cast Eldritch Blast. On a 18-20, the attack crits. 4-17, nothing happens. 1-3, the spell's damage is divided evenly amongst the party, missing the intended target. 2 charges that recharge after a long rest.
"Lady Susanne, here.. take this" The kobold would whisper quietly before placing 15 gold into the palm of her hand. "I am going to head to the ship, use the money to get yourself something nice.. or if you dont need it Vappa can have it to replace some of his losses from eariler" Stife would say playing with the ring on his finger.
Strife would then bounce off towards the docks with anyone else that was done buying items
Ok I would be interested in the list of items but after that Susanne will head to the ship.
