Barnaby casts fog cloud in the direction that it sounds like the additional wolves are coming from (Survival? 14, or perhaps it's obvious) to dissuade them, or at least slow them down. If it's from the same direction that the current wolves are in, the cloud will begin just behind the current wolves. If it is from any other direction, it will start 20' from us.

It is obvious to you that the additional wolves are further behind the ones that are already upon you. The fog descends on the road behind you, and you can hear snuffling and growling as the others pause, for the moment, in their charge.
All three wolves bite at Kif. Again, they seem to be coordinating in such a manner that their pack instincts are helping them. Two of them successfully bite Kif, who takes 20 more points of damage! If Kif is still conscious, he must make two more Strength saves against a DC 13 to stay on his feet.
Everybody may go.
Barnaby, with a Survival check of 14, would guess that the remaining wolves - and it did not sound like many - are only temporarily delayed by a fog, given their other enhanced senses.
As I wrote above, the top and middle wolves both look seriously hurt. Not like they are about to go down with a hard stare, but like maybe a couple of shots on either (or one really good one) could take out either one.
Pretty sure I failed the second strength save, so I would have been knocked prone, I would use half move to get up. (not sure if that affects bonus or attack action , let me know)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Enough of this already.
Barnaby launches a volley of magic missiles at the most injured looking wolf. Three beams of energy bob and weave in the general direction of the wolf and then, detecting their target, home in and make a beeline for it doing 12 damage.
Working together, Barnaby and Lucento - through the spiritual weapon executing his commands - bring down the northern wolf. Good thing, too, because Fope and Kif both missed!
Ireena, more familiar with the crossbow since leaving the Durst mansion, sticks a bolt right into the side of the middle wolf. These wolves are enormous, and they don't want to go down!
Both wolves successfully bite Kif again. Another 20 points of damage! Again, if Kif is still up (it should be quite close), make 2 Strength saves.
As you say, a failed Strength save just means stand up for half of your next move. It also means that melee attackers against you have advantage, but that's not making any difference in this combat.
Oh dear.

Ooooh, fog, ... that'll for sure stop the wolves of Barovia.
How's your wolf handling this wolf attack, Føpé,?
Can't talk. Wolf attack. Føpé gets out as he ducks under a snapping maw of one of the hopefully fog fearing wolves. Let's take one alive if we can.
I heard you Fope, but I am confused. Are we going to press it for valuable information or are we starting a zoo?
It never hurts to make friends.

Sorry for leaving you turkeys stranded so close to Thanksgiving. It's been a long couple of days.
Revenge is crowding Fope from behind, underfoot, and is in a state of high dudgeon. He is growling in a way that is not very menacing.

Føpé, taking advantage of the middle creatures focus on Kif, will go for the kill. Attack: 13 Damage: 21
Kif is still up, barely
strength saves
11 plus bless 3
15 pluss bless 3
Bonus action second wind 6 healing
Attacking middle wolf 11 plus bless 1 to hit
If that hits 7 damage
Pretty sure I failed the second strength save, so I would have been knocked prone, I would use half move to get up. (not sure if that affects bonus or attack action , let me know)

Lucento darts to Kif, places his left hand over one of the bites, and utters some words. Pardon the intrusion, friend.
Cure wounds on Kif, to heal for 12 (Includes +3 for disciple of life).
Lucento glares at the northern wolf and (as a bonus action) swings his right arm across his chest, and the golden mace hurls in the wolf’s direction.
Spiritual Weapon at northern wolf: 14 (to hit) 5 (damage)

Everybody is up again! Let's check in with Kif first; if he's unconscious, I'm sure that will affect some of the rest of you.
Nope, Kif is down
Ok. In that case I suggest you let somebody else go first. :)
