Oh, I forgot to respond to the attacks. You guys delivered tremendous blows to this one, too! You've severed a leg! The zombie still stands, enraged, on just the one leg. The fallen leg, like the fallen arms before, does not appear to be as still as you'd expect.
The one standing one square above Puddin unleashes a fierce attack, with both claws and a bite! It only hits with one of the claws, though, and does a paltry 2 points of damage. That could have been bad!
Not as far as you know. But it's your turn again, and everybody else's. There's one right above you, that's still attacking, and two more that have run off into the corners because of your (partially) successful Turn Undead.
You don't notice anything that your friends haven't already seen.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Puddin! Perhaps you should back out of there [meaning disengage instead of attacking so they don’t get a parting swipe at you as you move away] , as Kif is better equipped to sustain the bludgeoning of these beasts.”
Barnaby will launch another fire bolt at whatever unfeared zombie looks most injured or closest to Kif.
One swings at Kif; the other at Puddin. They are clumsy, and both miss.
The three of you are up again.
Kif attacks the one to his right 6
damage 9
Rinse and repeat, focusing on the same one...
Attack: 10
Damage: 10
Barnaby, could I please get that perception check that I think you still owe me?Nevermind, got it.
These do not appear to be ordinary zombies, like the ones you've read about. They have moving limbs; they are extra durable. Something is different.
I percepted. It was a 12.
Right, I found it after I posted.

Puddin?
A Guiding Bolt for the one with the severed leg.

Roll to hit it!
Blue: Puddin, your roll to hit is a d20 + your spell attack modifier which is near the top of your spell sheet.
Guiding Bolt needs a to hit roll; Sacred Flame does not. Which may be why the confusion.
edit: Confusion I made worse by neglecting to ask for a to hit roll last time. As a practical matter, it's unlikely (but possible) you'll miss.
I'll learn eventually.
Roll to hit: 12
Don't worry about it. You're doing great.

You three are up again.
Also, Puddin, I think I still need that perception check. The others have blown it; it's up to you!
Oh yeah.
Puddin's spell strikes true, and again Shar's power is enough to lay waste to this creature of darkness.
I think that's your last spell for the day, Puddin, but I'm counting on you to keep track.
Yep, that's it for spells right now. Am I infected by these zombies?

Puddin disengages and moves toward the door of the house.
