My sympathies to your diminutive elder. Ulcer is truly a terrible name for a man of any stature.
Well, Fope, Puddin, are you recommending then, that we go out and pitch a tent alongside the road of this cursed land? If that’s what you are all in favor of, I will stand with you. It is my opinion though, that securing one haunted house is preferable to looking for safety beneath the night’s stars.
It's getting dark out there and anywhere we camp would be close enough to this place to be in the same amount of danger, and we'd be out in the open. I don't like the idea of leaving this place without addressing it's mystery. Sure we had an incident, but this was almost a prank and perhaps we should learn a lesson, while Fope and I were affected you each worked as individuals to help us, perhaps working together to save one at a time would have been more effective
Kif stands up and wobbles a bit, but straightens up quickly and tosses the sodden cloak into the corner.
What say you, Ireena, seems we almost have a tie here, and your vote here is as important as any of ours

Puddin sticks up her nose and mutters to Ireena, Can you believe this? The dwarf with beads of vomit in his beard has the nerve to criticize his rescuers AND suggest that we go deeper into the house. Gives you plenty of confidence, does it not? What do you say, Ireena -- should we get out of here?
Puke and piss and shit are the by-product of war, as is blood. They all come too easily, bur we have no blood here, and now we know what kind of tricks might get thrown against us, at least one of them. I'd rather not go out under the baleful stars to attempt to rest while this malevolence goes unchallenged. By challenging whatever is going on here we may be weakening Straad's power, taking a servant from him that he would eventually use against us anyways
Puddin, please don't roll stuff like Persuasion (or attacks or whatever) against other members of the party, without discussing it in advance. In this case, it's up to you to persuade them. Not the dice. :)
I remind you all that the doors are all closed, but I've left the first floor illuminated where you've already looked. You can return to any of those spaces or move on to new terrain. Or stay in the dining room, with the buffet on the table, for some other purpose. What's next?
When you and Kif began scattering the nastiness onto the floor, the wolf pup sniffed it once or twice. Then he lost interest and curled up under the end of the table closest to the kitchen, where you are not making so much noise & stinky mess.
Barnaby, how likely is it the children are trickery like the food. If we're being tricked, but still want to defeat this evil, perhaps we should burn the house down.
You realize that there is a large room you haven't yet explored, on the opposite side of the main hall. You expect that you will find, in that room, windows overlooking the front of the house. You saw it on your way in, but haven't yet see it from the interior.
I'm not saying you'll find anything interesting in there, but I wanted to give Fope a chance to recognize that the first floor has not yet been fully explored.
Wait, I just realized, there's a door on this floor we haven't opened yet. Let's go check out the room on the south side.
I think I'm going to adopt Fope's excellent suggestion of orienting the compass so that north is up, as it is on normal maps. That's not actually accurate here, but it'll help me describe things, so that's what I'll do.

Persuasion: 17

Ok gotcha.
Sorry! I was only half-reading. I didn't realize you were trying to persuade Ireena. Clever girl. :)
I, I . . . she stammers. I tried to rescue him. Do you really think I helped?
Ireena doesn't look like she's going to push the debate one way or the other, between the four of you. Nice try, though.
Did a little vomit stop the Germans when they bombed Pearl Harbor? (Ok, maybe that should be in blue)
Very well, warrior, fighting evil is your area of expertise after all. I just hope you can do it better than you can walk.

There doesn't appear to be a way down to the basement, from inside. If there is a basement, perhaps the doors are outside around back.
What's Revenge up to?

Fope, roll a Survival check.
Barnaby, how likely is it the children are trickery like the food. If we're being tricked, but still want to defeat this evil, perhaps we should burn the house down.
Barnaby does not know, because you did not write this question down, just how poorly you spelled his name. edit: ;o)
Give me a Survival check, Fope, like I asked. If you're looking for something to do. :)
Survival check: 20

Wait, even better. Let's interview those kids again before we walk into another trap.
