Zin did not move, if it’s not too late I would like to stipulate that Zinn would silently hold up his hand if any of the party members approached the door.

Zinnscoffs as he sees the Nothics fail to open the door, "Useless!" he cries out in undercommon as he aggressive waves his clawed hands, a growing ball of fire emerges between his arms and he continues the spell until the full and raging fireball his held above his head. He swings his body with both hands and hurls the massive fireball at the trio of Nothics and the door.
One nothic survives the blast as it dodges as far from the explosion as possible. It runs in a circle, screeching and then darts into one of the small rooms containing the toilets to the south of the hallway leading to the room with the door.
Shiftmoves to stand beside Kaltent, ready to attack if the Nothic reappears from the room.

Trigger: A hostile targetexits the room the Nothic entered.

As Zinn yells at the Nothics and one of them tries the door unsuccessfully, Shift looks back at Kaltent with a questioning head tilt.
