Cinder will go around to the right of the creature while pulling out her spear ((4 right 2 up)) and strike . Then she’ll kick it in the jaw as a bonus action.
Spear Attack: 10 Damage: 9
Unarmed Strike Attack: 17 Damage: 7
'Putting on an agile sprint behind her new companions to emerge on the large creature's right flank, Cinder stabs out with her spear, only to have the point deflect from the toughened hide of the essentially armoured beast. Concerned that she might not have the stength to drive the point through the crocodile's hard leathery skin, the martial artist abandons the longer weapons and instead leaps up in a spin above the beast, coming down to drive her arm and fist impossibly fast and directly down into the top of its skull. The blow lands like a hammer between the crocodile's eyes with a audible *CRACK* that sends the creature into momentary death throes before the large reptile collapses dead and unmoving upon the wet river grasses.
Casting a thoughtful stare at the monk who is half-crouched atop the creature she just slew, Thurk looks around at you all as he nods in appreciation, clearly impressed with the fighting prowess displayed, before the lizardman rushes down to the body lying near the water's edge, with a concerned cry of,'
"Exbrin?!?"
'Kneeling at the fallen form, the large man quickly checks for any signs of life... albeit futilely. The clearly dejected smith's head drops to his chest, as he mutters darkly,'
"Damn it! Rest in peace, old friend. Jona will be cared for, I promise you. And I swear that we will get to the bottom of this!"
'Raising his grim-faced head to look around, Thurk gets to his feet and leans down to lift the body, as he growls out,'
"Too late... Damn me for a slow minded fool! I should have come at once."

'Turning to see Altani checking the ground about about the area for tracks or other signs of passage, Thurk seems to snap out of his brief reverie, bringing his lantern over to help with the search.
Studying the surrounding ground in an outwards spiral from the location where Exbrin's body still lies, Altani notices no tracks or signs of distrubance upon the bank or the surrounding long grasses that weren't caused by the heavy-treading crocodiles or themselves. This puzzles the plainswoman, as she can't even find any tracks that seem to belong to Exbrin himself. Reaching the dirt road, Altani unsurprisingly finds a plethora of new and old tracks, some belonging to foot traffic, some to carts and wagons, heading to and from the direction of Ambersilt, most going East-West, but also some signs of passage up to and across the stone bridge.'
