With a fiery wall enclosing Drannin, the construct and the dwarf in the middle group, Glim pulls out a bit of sparkling powder from his belt pouch. He waves it in his fingers and utters a brief incantation, then blows on it. The powder flies toward the fiery wall and creates an invisible dome of force outside it, enclosing Drannin and his immediate companions, leaving them nowhere to go to get away from the fire. He then backs up as far as he can get from the dwarves and human in the front, trying to find cover behind a rock.

Fionula
During the surprise round, assuming she got to her spot in time without being discovered, she will pew pew the human with her Eldritch Blast, sending Swifty in (assuming he is not already dead) to Help on the first attack roll. He will try to fly away, too (perhaps incurring an AoO, poor guy).

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
OoC: Per Discord discussion, here's a modified version of what we think the map looks like through the surprise round (pending various saves, and of course, subject to DM confirmation that we have the layout accurately represented).
Key:
Purple box: Wall of force Red box: Wall of fire (interior is the ouchy side) Green square: Region affected by Hypnotic Pattern Orange characters: Targets of Bane
Kelvin steps through the Arcane Gate last as it swirls to a close with the start of his next incantation. To those unfortunate to be caught, the world swirls with patterns of light so breath-taking that they find their senses bewildered and concentration falters.
(Hypnotic Pattern: DC 16 WIS save or be charmed with movement speed 0)

Klong, seeing that the enemies in front are taken care of by Kelvin, moves his full movement toward the two dwarves in the back. He releases his concentration on the first bane spell and casts it again, with a heavy banging on his drum. It is important to protect the two wizards, so he positions himself in front of the fourth dwarf. "Wild man, you take other dwarf," he calls to Fil. To Fionula, he thinks. "You do good with human. Now we attack these dwarf."
This course of action is blindingly obvious to everyone, but Klong thinks he is being helpful.
OOC: Cast bane on D4, D5, and Drannin. CHA save DC 17.
D4 and D5 stare in awe as with no warning a savage attack befalls them. Before they can even react, they watch as their mage mercenary Cavill gets torn apart by arcane energy bursting from *somewhere*. Making matters worse their dwarven companions all seem to stare into space drooling, as if compelled by an unseen force. They are unable to tell if Drannin is drooling, or just sweating as a LITERAL CONVECTION OVEN pops up around the mighty dwarf.
D1/D2 are charmed
Human mage is dead
D3 is charmed momentarily and cooked out of it (-18)

Fionula will (act at roughly the same time as Glim, so I'll post because busy day) ignore Klong's telepathic suggestion, because Fil has raged and attacked D2, and better one fewer enemy than several wounded ones. She will cast Eldritch Blast again, at D2 (assuming he did not die from Fil's attentions, if he did, then she'll comply with the plan, and attack D4).

Glim, pleased to see Kelvin's spell incapacitate the front group, prepares to attack the back line, but then sees the sabre-toothed tiger launch into one of the dwarves in front, snapping them out of the hypnosis. He quickly redirects his attack, not wanting to give the now awake dwarf a chance to shake his companion awake, and aims a bolt of fire from his fingers at D2, before backing up further to whatever cover he can muster as far away from the enemies as he can get.
Attack: 26 Damage: 22
OoC: As with Fi's attacks, if D2 is already down from tiger claws, he will stick to the original plan and fire bolt D4 instead.
Fil is going to get within range and cast Wall of Fire on Drannin
Damage - 19 -
Dex save is 16 which is half damage.
As a bonus action, he will transform into a sabre-tooth tiger.
