Keeping a distance around the lakeside, the fallen twigs and grasses crunching and squishing underfoot. You begin to near the mouth of the cave. A cold wind howls in your face. The cold air seems to be coming from the cave,
Brown and grey rocks make the formation built into the land. Mud floor entrance that looks slick, slanting downward.
As you enter the cave you hat the repeated pinging of pick axes and shoves clashing against the rock and dirt. The echoes make it difficult to distinguish how far exactly. Through Tyr’s guidance to avoiding footfalls and the clocklike rhythm of the mining, you feel pretty confident you will not be heard despite the noisy armor from Priton and Ragnir.
Hermenor leading the group down the tunnel, approximately 15 feet wide by 15 feet tall. scanning the area. The frigid wind flowing from further below. You feel your facial muscles stiffen. Going down the path you notice a pressure plate on the rocky floor rigged up to net taught against the ceiling, holding several large sized rocks (basketball size).
Everyone watches as Tyr creeps closer to the mechanism and effortlessly disarms the trap. The pressure plate disconnected from the hazard above.
Continuing down the slight descent of the natural cave you bend around a turn to the left. In the distance ahead (50 feet) you see a clearing.... an opening to a small probably man dug room. Lit by warm red torchlight. A figure in black robes can be seen studying something on a table. The figure is facing away with their back turned. Seemingly unaware of your presence.
"What if we sneak up on them and then have all of our weapons like pointed at him. I mean we've got this whole thing." Priton says as he raises the lightbringer a little bit

"Unless they are more powerful then us - then we are just presenting ourselves for slaughter. Maybe, two approach and two stay in the shadows ready to ambush." Tyr whispers to the group.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I think the cat and I are perhaps more adept at hiding. Priton, Ragnir, the floor is yours." Hermenor agrees with Tyr (the "cat" was not meant as an offence.)
Yep, lets go." Priton says as he also grabs his shield and the lightbringer (Also for woogles i dont have the expansion for the lightbringer so what is the damage roll on it?)

"Beware, guildmates. Walking creatures with webbed feet live here from what I gather. They have probably been corrupted as well" Hermenor warns.
"Perhaps we could all try to move slowly?" He then suggests as he takes the lead. "Keep that light on the back of the line, if you would, good dwarf."

Upon further inspection by Priton it appears that the pressure plate can easily be stepped over.
