With the gold that the Saltmartians gave to Carrhae for the successful intel on the Lizardfolk, Carrhae gives 500 of it to Kali and tells her to buy weapons for the Lizardfolk, since the crew of the Belle sorta kinda killed the people who were selling weapons to the lizardfolk.

Meanwhile, Carrhae herself brings some food and wine (the good shit, sorry Wolf) for the lizardfolk. Since the lizardfolk and the Crew of the Belle can't understand one another, Carrhae and Misha pantomime that the food was brought here for them to eat, with Carrhae sampling some to show the lizardfolk that what they're bringing is delicious and most importantly, not poisoned. Carrhae once again has Syltra cast Guidance on her.

Misha sits down slowly with a smile and slowly begins to carve a piece of "the good stuff" that Carrhae had brought with her. The aroma was delightful, and it seemed Carrhae had entered the barracks at a perfect time. The lizardfolk commoners looked at one another, at Misha, then at the food. As Misha chewed, she took a chunk of the food and offered it to the commoner closest to her, her eyes wide, encouraging, and chewing obnoxiously loud. The lizardfolk accepted, ate the food, and laughter was heard in the room as a small burping contest was had. Carrhae lost.

Chandor looks momentarily at the frightened frog before grunting in a mix of pain and disgust, stepping back behind his allies, he focuses inward while calling on the energies of the surrounding terrain. A slight glow envelopes him, slightly healing his wounds.

AREA 51 - LOCATHAH POOL

This flooded natural rock cavern is roughly circular and about seventy feet in diameter. The water is clear, but the bottom is covered with a mass of weeds so that the depth cannot be judged. A stone path has been carved into the west wall a few feet above the waterline. Narrow stone stairs descend into the water from this path. Four Locathat are bathing in this cavern, and you can see eels in the water as well, swimming between the weeds. They pause and take a long moment to look at both of you as you approach.

"Hello, good Locathah. I am Captain Carrhae, here to represent the Belle of the Sea, as well as the rest of the surface-dwelling races of Saltmarsh. I have heard about your people's plight from Queen Othokent. I sympathize with you. I detest slavery and should you allow us into your alliance, we will fight hard to ensure that you shall never be enslaved again."

Syltra stays at Carrhae’s side, offering guidance whenever requested.

”Cap’n, if we still have any of the haul from the Ghost, d’you suppose the surplus weapons would be helpful towards the effort?” She asks Carrhae.

"I already had Kali spend a rather significant sum on weapons. I doubt that we'll impress them more by offering them leftovers."

As Carrhae finished speaking, the Locathah said nothing, for it was clear they didn't speak Common. They simply looked at both women with indifference and curiosity. After a few awkward moments, Misha made a swimming gesture with her arms and then gestured to the water. Seeing that they were not an immediate threat, the Locathah watched Misha, looked at the water, and made a gesture towards it as well. Misha smiled and nodded, took off her armor, and slowly began to enter the pool. It was amazingly warm and comfortable. She sat down in the pool almost chest high in the water and let out a loud AAHhhhh, her eyes rolling slightly at how pleasant it felt. The Locathah, amused at her reaction, appeared to laugh and copied her sound. It was all uphill from there.

Carrhae was thankful that Misha was around. Yes, Carrhae was kind and never had issues with getting people to like her, but at times she could seem posh, with her upper-class accent, her vocabulary, and her fancy armor that looked like it cost more gold than most people make in their entire lives. Combined with her good looks, it sometimes made her seem unapproachable. But Misha was different. Her childlike innocence and simplicity didn't make it seem like she was a foreign diplomat. She was just a pretty girl who came to swim. Carrhae smiled as she watched Misha swim, in awe of how natural it was for her to try new things and make new friends. She was also in awe of how Misha looked in a bikini. Carrhae allowed Misha to stay in the water, telling her that they were moving down to area 52 and that she could swim there so that she wouldn't have to get out of the water. When we're done with this, I'm asking Kali if she knows any nice tropical islands where we can go for a mini-vacation.

AREA 52 - MERFOLK POOL

This flooded natural rock cavern is roughly circular and about seventy feet in diameter. A bloom of colorful blue and green algae covers the surface of the water, obscuring its depths. From a stone path, narrow stairs descend into the water from this path. Four merfolk are swimming in this pool between the algae, underwater. As Carrhae and Syltra approached the merfolk, two males and two females, slowly peeked their eyes just above the water, and watched, and waited. So far, they were the most beautiful and pleasing creatures to see among the Alliance members - easy to see how sailors would be attracted to them.

Sloop jumps out of the cattails and onto the back of the King’s frog, wrapping his right arm tightly around the front of the king and jams his dagger through the King’s armor, stopping from digging the dagger into the King just short of piercing the skin. His other arm holds his rapier, poking it through the backside of the king, ready to jam it straight into his spine.

”Good morning, sir. I would don’t that if I were you. YIELD!”

Carrhae strips off her armor and clothing, walking into the pool topless, wearing nothing more than a bikini bottom.

She smiles at the entranced merfolk, pleased that her gamble paid off. "As you can see, not all of us surface-folk are plain-looking."

Chandor rushes forward, blades streaking as he unleashes a pair of slashes against the top toad.

Chandor's first slice cuts the King deep, but the second slash poked into the keetee, knocking him off the Bullywug, landing prone.

AREA 52 - MERFOLK POOL

The merfolk watched with curious anticipation as to what Carrhae was doing. The gamble did indeed pay off, and in a silent display of swimming and curious petting, you it was easy to win over the Merfolk. They were a quiet people, graceful swimmers, and the pool was very warm and relaxing. Not having legs, the Merfolk appreciated your physical form, and remained close to you as they admired your form with their eyes, and sometimes with their hands. After the initial admiration was over, the playing and laughing began. Eventually, Misha walked on the rocks along the edge of the pool to where you were still in her bikini, towel drying her hair.

"Kapitan," she began, coming towards you, "I think that was the best sweem i've had in y-AHH!" she barked in surprise as she saw you topless, dropped her tower, and covered her eyes in embarrassment. "..bozhe moy, ya vizhu yeye grud.." She cleared her throat. "Sorry, Kapitan, I didn't know you were undressed. I didn't mean to pry. I weel..ah, be..over here." Since she was covering her eyes, she pointed in a random direction, and nearly bumping into a rock wall, felt her way away to a safe place, laughing very loudly in awkwardness.

“Just one more shot.” Wolf sleepily says as Erriviel bring him too. Seeing the frogs still there Wolf groans with, “And it was such a good bar in the dream.” Before getting up and getting back to work, with more Quarterstaff strikes followed by two claws strikes.

Admittedly, this is what Carrhae liked. She was surrounded by people who were in awe of the beauty of her physical form. When was the last time this happened? When I was with Strife? It made her recall how the Tiefling admired her body, comparing it to one of nature's gifts and refusing to engage in a transactional relationship with her. Carrhae had respected that viewpoint and for a while, had stopped using her natural gifts in order to get what she wanted. But dying had changed that. Sune had given her a body to die for and dying prematurely tends to shift ones perspective on things. She wasn't opposed to settling down with someone who truly loved her for her, but if her body could get her what she wanted, she saw no reason not to use it. That being said, she still felt bad when Misha came walking in and felt awkward about seeing her boobs. "No, no it's my fault. I should've warned you that I was going to get undressed." As fun as this was for Carrhae, she did have to leave the pool eventually and get back to negotiating. She dried off, got dressed, and led the team to Area 40, hoping to find the Minister. Thank Sune that Sloop wasn't here.
