Gribz says "The Goblin we interrogated yesterday said to follow the river. Who knows if we can trust what he said, but right now it's as good a plan as any. Shiv, do you want to continue leading the way?"
Zack tested the rope one more time just as Lilliths spell hits the goblin who was likely about to flee. And lets out a sigh of mild relief. Good job Nadia.. Lillith, atleast you both can find your marks. He looked up at the rope and sighed, not sure if he was glad it wasn't needed anymore or not. Regardless, he abandons it where it is, and unsheathes his sword once more. Flashs of what might have happened if that goblin had gotten away flow through his mind for the briefest of moments, before he begins to move along the same wall, farther up heading towards where Shiv was as he re-enters stealth, keeping his back against the wall so he would know where to move despite being unable to see at this point.
(Ether way, it seems Chad still can't ht the broad side of a barn..... and still won't use what's needed in an emergency.... All holding back in combat gets you is: killed.)
Zack will once again ready to Dodge should an attack come their way.

Shiv
Shiv would draw his shortswords once more and crouch down low as he begins trying to follow along deeper into the cave, staying much closer to his companions this time but trying to stay far enough away that if he slips up he won't reveal their locations.

(OOC: I think your RP alone was worth the XP personally :D)
As you each follow the stream uphill, the sound of rushing water gets louder and louder, however, the flow rate of the stream remains the same. You make your way up two small sets of steps that have been formed into the ground before there is another set of steps with rock formations on either side. At the top of the steps the cave appears to open up again and there is the tremendous sound of a waterfall somewhere within. Shiv sneaks up three of the steps to look in to the vast space. It is dark, he can make out two large rocks near the steps where he currently stands, a small passage that leads off to the right, an area of water that appears to have been collected from the waterfall in some sort of damn sits to the left and the cave continues to open up even more ahead of them. He can’t make out any movement and the sound of the waterfall is so loud in here that it would be difficult to make out much noise.
Noticing the small passage off to the right, Shiv would attempt to flag down his companions before pointing out the small opening. Giving his companions a quick shrug, he would point down each path with his shortswords while looking at each of them with his light yellow eyes, looking for direction.
As Gribz makes his way up the steps next to Shiv. His darkvision allows him to see a bit of movement in the water to the left. Two creatures are crouched down, looking into the water.
Gribz will hold his hand up above his head with his fist balled, signaling the party to stop. He'll signal for Lilith and Nadia to come closer to him. He'll then whisper "There are two creatures up ahead, crouched near the water. Can you see them? Since we're the only ones that can see in the dark, we're going to have to take care of these two. I have my crossbow, Nadia has her bow, and Lilith, you can casts spells right? We should try and take them out from here if we can."
Perception (to try and discern what kind of creatures they are):13
Gribz focuses, only seeing the top half threw his gaze, these are two goblins holding what appears to be a net in the water. One is splashing around slightly.
Shiv will point towards the direction of the goblins and make a stabbing motion with his short swords before shrugging. "I stab?" he would whisper quietly to Gribz.
Nadia follows behind Gribz as she readies her bow and arrow, her eyes narrowing to see if she could see the enemies from the distance they were in to get a clear shot.
Perception: 23
Stealth: 23
(Ooc - if the rolls above are needed, if not then Nadi will wait for Gribz go and take her shot the at goblin the farthest away, and if not, before I roll damage, would we possibly get advantage due to being undetected? Hope this makes sense lol)

Zack wouldn't be too far behind Gribz, only he was still against the wall, even as the sound of the falls drowned out his steps. He couldn't hear what was said over it either, as all noise was muffled given the distance. he couldn't even hear his own feet moving. He knew where the fall was.. by the sound, and had a general idea of where most of the party was, maintaining a close-enough gap that he could still see their shadows among the shadows, shifting slightly, and chads light spell underneath his cloak was a small 'lighthouse' in a way.
(Well the rope is a loss... but maybe if things go well I can retrieve it later. That or.. it may end up helping us in the future? But why are they stopping? More enemies? I hope that bird doesn't slip on more rocks...) he says with a sigh that was never heard. Zack slowly approached the group, until he could hear their voices start to exist. What's going on? More enemies?
Shiv would point towards the goblins with his shortsword as Zach as asks about more enemies. The kenku would also crouch low and prepare to rush the goblins if things go badly.
To Zack, Gribz will say "Looks like two more Goblins up ahead. They don't appear to have noticed us yet. I was thinking Lilith, Nadia, and I could try and drop them from afar since we can see the best in the darkness. What do you think?"
As Gribz explains his plan, Lilith nods and gives him a silent thumbs up. She'll wait for Gribz and Nadia to attack first before shooting off her spell at which ever goblin appears to be the weakest. She places a hand on her chest and whispers a short incantation, asking for the guidance of Our Lady of Joy to lead them unto the path of success and safety for her companions.
(OOC - From what I understand, Gribz Nadia and Lilith are going to sneak to try and get a surprise round. All have rolled stealth so I’m going to roll Perception of the goblins with disadvantage due to the waterfall. Nadia, as per your question, it is only rogues that get extra damage for sneak attacks)
Nadia and Gribz will get a surprise round but Lilith won't.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Three,” Nadia whispers to the group. “No... Another one maybe. Four?” The elf tries to hide her frustration by squinting her eyes to see if she could make out the movement more to discern the amount. “No matter the amount we’re gonna have a fight here most likely...” She readies her bow.
”Just tell me when you’re ready Gribz.”
(Ooc - posting from phone, also at work so I’ll post my surprise attack now assuming Gribz gives the go ahead)
Attack: Longbow - On the farthest goblin Nadia can see and hit (150 ft range) - Attack: 18 Damage: 4
