Anafrey parries the incoming blows and is grateful that she's in front so that no one can see the surprised look on her face. She aims for the neck and head of one of the undead nobles. "You made me..." slash, "drop my wine..." stab, "you monsters!"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Erric, seeing that his plan to retreat has gone up in smoke, decides to reenter the fray to take some incoming fire away from Anafrey. He moves through the friendly space of Jambiya's spot (S9) and through the spot occupied by the yellow zombie in R9 (through halfling nimbleness), and around to R8, engaging the yellow zombie in melee with silvered rapier, trying to flank him with Anafrey.
Attack: 18 Damage: 4
(This is assuming we're back around to the next round, apologies if I'm jumping the gun!)
"Arrow incoming, Ms. Jambiya, head down!" Maldorn says just in case the little goblin lady was planning on jumping on that exact moment. He then not-so-carefully shoots another arrow, taking an extra second to pull his bowstring taut to the limit:
(OOC: I'm hoping the yellow one is dead by the time Maldorn takes his turn. If not, and he cannot target the orange one, he'd instead aim for the yellow one.)
Dispite Jambiya's magical change and her determination, the zombie bats away her attack.
Round 2: Anafrey, Erric/Maldorn, zombies, Jambiya
((1-6 = Blue, 7-12 = Orange, 13-20 = Yellow : using chaos; Blue it is!))
Anafrey aims for the neck and head of the fanciest undead noble. "You made me..." slash, "drop my wine..." stab, "you monsters!" Her slash and stab both hit, but the creature simply moans menacingly at her.
DM rollz: 16
Erric scurries around Jambiya and through the legs of the (yellow) zombie. Drawing the darkened rapier, the halfling bard lunges forward, taking advantage of Anafrey's distraction. His rapier plunges deep. Erric would expect such a wound to cripple his target, but it seems to hiccup and keep coming.
Maldorn fires an arrow, but Jambiya is slightly jostled as Erric moves past her, and she takes a step back, stepping on the hunter's foot and causing him to fire high and over the head of the nearest zombie.
((Fingers crossed!))
The (blue) zombie takes another swing at Anafrey. (Slam attack: 7; damage: Unable to parse dice roll. bludeoning damage) Its arm crashes into her stomach, causing her to exhale a grunt of pain. The (red) zombie is finally able to move around its comrade (R11), and it also attacks Anafrey. (Slam attack: 22; damage: 3 bludeoning damage) As Anafrey doubles over from the (blue) zombie's attack, the (red) zombie's arm flies through the air where her head had just been. The (yellow) zombie turns to Erric, watching as the bard dislodges his weapon from its grotesque innards and decides? to retaliate. (Slam attack: 18; damage: 3 bludeoning damage) (Fumble roll: 9; 2) Erric ducks just as the creature is attempting to punch the tiny humanoid. The zombie's hand slams into the wall, crunching like someone snapping a bundle of sticks in half. The (orange) zombie swings at Anafrey again. (Slam attack: 10; damage: 2 bludeoning damage)
((Ah, crap.))
Still a little dazed, Anafrey straightens her back just in time for the (orange) zombie to thrust its gnarled, undead hand straight into her face. One of its fingers punctures her eye. Her nose is flattened and teeth are knocked out by the force of the impact. Her skull cracks. The huntress drops ... dead.
Red should have gotten advantage on attacking Anafrey. 13
Yes! History rewritten once again!
The (blue) zombie takes another swing at Anafrey. (Slam attack: 13; damage: 6 bludgeoning damage) Its arm crashes into her stomach, causing her to exhale a grunt of pain. The (red) zombie is finally able to move around its comrade (R11), and it also attacks Anafrey. (Slam attack: 8/13; damage: 4 bludgeoning damage) As Anafrey is recovering from the first attack, a second catches her on the head, knocking her out! The (yellow) zombie turns to Erric, watching as the bard dislodges his weapon from its grotesque innards and decides? to retaliate. (Slam attack: 4; damage: 5 bludgeoning damage) (Fumble roll: 1; 1) Erric ducks just as the creature is attempting to punch the tiny humanoid. The zombie's hand slams into the wall, crunching like someone snapping a bundle of sticks in half. The (orange) zombie also swings at Erric. (Slam attack: 4; damage: 2 bludgeoning damage) (Fumble roll: 3) As the creature swings wildly at Erric, it misses, and leaves the bard with a huge opening for his next attack (advantage).
OOC > I'm confused, so I am going to go through the above posts very carefully and figure out exactly what has gone on. And again, apologize for this mess. And now for Anafrey's death, too? Sigh.
Still in melee range of the yellow zombie, Jambiya cries out as she sees Anafrey fall, gruesomely injured. A wave of emotion cascades over her... guilt, horror, a certainty of doom. Growling, she steps back, and speaks a word in a fluid language, "Lumos!"
Action: Without moving out of melee range, she will cast Faerie Fire on the zombies (in a 20 ft cube up to 60 ft away). Dex Save DC 12 or they are limned in light and we have Advantage on attacks against them. Lasts 1 minute, requires concentration.

Jambiya cries out as she sees Anafrey fall (not so gruesomely injured now). A wave of emotion cascades over her ... guilt, horror, a certainty of doom. Growling, she steps back, and speaks a word in a fluid language, "Lumos!" A cloud of glowing, green motes fills much of the kitchen end of the dining room, barely missing Erric. Just as suddenly, the motes disappear, but three of the zombies (orange, red and blue), Anafrey's prone body, half the dining room table, and two of the chairs appear to remain coated in them, causing them to glow with a bright, green light, which is especially jarring in the gloom surrounding them.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Erric knows he still has two of the berries from earlier in his pack (or maybe Jambiya still has one, he doesn't remember), but doesn't see a way to get to Anafrey to feed her one right away, so as he sees the big zombie overswing at him, he tries to stab it in the head with his rapier to put it down for good to try to even the odds a bit and give him some room to get to Anafrey and resuscitate her:
Attack: 16 Damage: 5
(Feel silly because he'd have advantage from the faerie fire and from the critical fail/fumble but they don't stack.)
Not sure if he'd be able to use his dagger for an offhand attack (it's light, but rapier's just finesse, and I'm not 100% on the rules here), but if he could, then he'd love to bonus action attack with dagger: Attack: 24 Damage: 3
(OOC: I take it Eric is attacking the orange zombie, right? If so, the only other zombie Maldorn would be able to see would be the yellow one. If not, please let me know.)
"Ieric, feed one of those magical berries to Nicerivers!" Maldorn says, as he tries to clear the halfling's path to their fallen comrade:
-> Longbow vs. Yellow Zombie-Servant: Attack: 7 Damage: 6 piercing.
(OOC: Man... Maldorn really has his lows... last three attacks I rolled a 3, a 5, and a 2...)

Erric stabs the (orange) zombie in the head with his rapier, thrusting the weapon straight through from its chin through the top of its crusty head. The creature moans angrily.
OOC: Sorry, but a rapier isn't light, so you can't fight with your off hand.
Maldorn fires another arrow into the dining room, but it hits nothing by the back wall.
The (blue) and (red) zombies moan and wail, their dead eyes set on Jambiya, but they can't get to her because of the bottleneck (blue at Q10 and red at R10, standing on Anafrey). The (yellow) zombie swings at Jambiya. (Slam attack: 9; damage: 2 bludgeoning damage) Luckily, the goblin is ready for the attack and ducks out of the way. The (orange) zombie attempts to retaliate against Erric. (Slam attack: 18; damage: 6 bludgeoning damage) Erric struggles to pull his rapier from the zombie's skull, and so he is unprepared for the attack coming, and he is hit on the shoulder.
Anafrey comes to, lying on the ground, a zombie literally standing on her.
OOC: Technically, this would come before Maldorn's post. Anafrey, you have a move and action/bonus if you like. Or, you may play dead and hope the zombies don't notice. You can only move to another square by crawling, which is still considered prone, and also halves your speed. If you move out of melee range of any of the zombies you're currently in melee range with now, they'll get an opportunity attack. You could disengage and move away as your action, and you'll not provoke opportunity attacks. If you move, you cannot end your turn in another character's square (unless they're unconscious or dead). You are in R10, underneath Red.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(If Erric isn't supposed to go until Anafrey has her action, then ignore this.)
Erric thinks about the three of them trying to slog it out in melee with four relentless undead, and how he's never been able to think of himself as a hero in his own story. He remembers that the zombies were happily sitting at the table under a veil of shadow until they'd noticed the four living breathing intruders, and then seemed to want to either defend the room or attack the living out of principle. They're slow. Maybe they'd be easily lured into a chase. A glance down at the terrifyingly still body of Anafrey resolves it in his head. He's going to try something.
He'll drop two berries right where he's standing, saying "Berries!" to Jambiya and look at Anafrey's prone form. He'll blow a kiss to her and then dart to the west, past orange and yellow (in a very peculiar manner, almost dancing past them in a mocking zombie shuffle). If he gets hit by an attack of opportunity, he'll use the last of his luck to get them to reroll in an attempt to remain standing with his few hit points he's got left.
Once he's at N8, he'll begin casting what should be a familiar spell at this point: vicious mockery, trying some additional hand motions to entice them to try to chase them. If he can weave under the table for some intermittent cover, so much the better. Psychic damage on yellow, if failing a WIS 13 save: 4
He's trying to entice them to shamble after him. If that requires a performance/persuasion check of some kind in tune with the spell, here's that: 9
Anafrey wakes with a start feeling something heavy weighing her down, she shakes her head and lets out a soft groan and looks up at the zombie above and kicks at it rolling backwards to disengage retreating to T10. "Jambiya? What did I drink this time?"
