FYI, if you wish to capture the goblin, it will work like this.
First, you need to reduce his movement to zero - Demetrio has already done this through grappling, but the goblin has a chance to escape each round.
Then, you need to apply a proper restraint - manacles or ropes; this will give him the restrained condition. However, still with possibilities to escape (see the description for manacles for an example of how this works.
Finally, you can use additional ropes or chains to bind him such that he becomes incapacitated. At this point, he can't escape.
I would suggest that you help each other in each task, as this gives you the best chance to succeed before the goblin can break free.
Kylara and X have actions they can take before the goblin moves. Steinarr will be helping Demetrio maintain the grapple.
It's up to you to decide the relative benefits of helping each other or not. Helping gives advantage, and so a better chance of success, but takes longer (because you need two people to perform each action) and may give the goblin more chance to escape.
However, if you succeed in getting the manacles on him, he will use his turn to try to break free of them. He can't try to break free of both the manacles and the grapple in the same turn. You can probably use your superior numbers to win this, but it's your choice.
Kylara has the rope in one hand, as she moves over she drops her shield and club, and ties up the goblin with the rope around his feet. She says to X Grab those manacles and restrain his hands with them, then we can tie the rope to his manacles from his feet so he cant move.
Replace the handcuffs that connect his feet to the "manacles" with a rope. This is what I am going for.
Kylara tells the Goblin in his tongue, If you struggle, you will only make this more painful. You are outnumbered and I have questions that must be answered.
Seems viable. Just to clarify, are you going to help X (assuming he chooses to do what you suggest) and give him advantage, or are you keeping your action to apply the rope yourself afterwards?
Applying rope of feet currently, X applies manacles, Demetrio maintains grapple, Stienarr helps Demetrio for advantage, Solon throws fireballs at ghosts, and next turn we tie it all together.
I slowly turn and look at kylara angrily, still pulsing and breathing a bit heavily. I turn to look at my javelin in the other goblin's neck and then slowly turn back to kylara.
Be. QUICK. WEAKLINGS.
I use my action to help and as the goblin is at least (attempting to be tied up) I look at it in the eyes and say
Move and you will end up like the corpses over there....Choose wiiisely.
For the sake of simplicity, we'll make applying the rope essentially the same difficulty as grappling. So Kylara, please make an Athletics check (at advantage because of X's help). This will be contested by the goblin's acrobatics7

Kylara and X, you both fumble as the goblin wriggles and twists, while Steinarr and Demetrio hold it down, and you can't tie the rope around its wrists or feet. It snarls and spits, and a large gob of spit goes onto Kylara's face.
The goblin now attempts to break free; Demetrio, roll an Athletics check (at advantage, because of Steinarr's help), contested by the goblin's acrobatics: 21

Demetrio, the goblin writhes and struggles and manages to get out of your grip. It attempts to flee. Soron's Fire Bolt hits it in the back before it has a chance to get even one foot away, but doesn't bring it down.
You all (except Soron) can take an Opportunity Attack with whatever weapon you are holding, or an unarmed strike if none. You don't have time to pick up or draw a weapon for an Opportunity Attack. Try to imagine the scene and decide if your character kept a hold of their weapon while grappling or attempting to tie the goblin up.

Just asking on the rest of the moves available in this order
Stienarr
X
Demetrio
Goblin
So if Stienarr attaches manacles and X binds with the rope, the goblin will have no chance to escape?

Steinarr is helping keep him grappled while the others can use the manacles and rope

You mean rope? No one grabbed my manacles lol.

Sure, rope. Didn't work, either way.
Demetrio struggles to hold down this goblin back luckily Steinarr is helping him.
(Oops I did something wrong there I rolled 2 dice and drop 1 and it said 38 btw)
try again 16

(X) I threw my javelin so I'll just punch it into the ground (unarmed strike)
Still seething, my eyes grow wide
WRONG CHOICE.
Attack: 20 Damage: 0
(OOC it would be 4 damage because of unarmed strike, possibly +2 because of rage, I don't think it ran out, if that is the case, 6 damage)
The goblin manages to wiggle out of Demetrios grip but as he feels this happening Demetrio swings his fist towards the goblins belly.
Attack: 10 Damage: 4
I'm proficient in unarmed as a fighter I think? If not subtract 2 from my attack chance.
well nvm nat 20... don’t forget my sentinel takes away the rest of his movement.
You lost rage on the help action. And it’s 1d4 plus your str modifier for unarmed damage.
If it is not dead, I grapple with the goblin to restrain it for interrogation. If it is dead, we loot the corpses and split the loot.
