"Either way is fine with me." Saralyssa says. "A bit busy though to be trying to pick a lock in broad daylight... Should we maybe set a watch, and come back when the roads are not so busy?"
“We can’t waste time, either,” Briga adds. “We’re lucky we found it so quickly. They could be trying to cover their tracks even as we speak. I say we go in the back, right now. The abandoned dragons is a team, though, so I’ll go with what everyone agrees on. That’s my vote, though.”
”Maybe a watch, and set up some kind of distraction. Heck, me and Griff are bigger than most of the rest of you. We could basically just stand in front of you.”
"Does someone want to run back to your guy's tavern to get your other friend then?" Saralyssa asks as she eyes up the house on the other side of the gate.
“Damn, at times like this I wish we had Sending Stones,” Briga says. “One of the top bounty hunter teams in the city uses them to talk over long distances. It’s just down the street. I could run and grab him while you guys work on the lock, maybe?”
"Noooot it!"Mairi chimes in. "Although I agree about the not knocking thing. It'd be nice to just to find out who calls it home, if albeit under false pretenses. At least then it'd be easier to know what to expect to some degree, assuage they got quite the reputation."She adds, thumbing her chin a moment, and then shrugging offhandedly. "On that subject-...." Mairi catches herself, and shakes her head. "Nevermind... uhm... If there is to be any skullduggery, for lack of better words, we best wait 'till dark. If nothing else, it aughta be safer to move around or.. slip away, if'n we need to. The watch only has so much patience for vigilantes here. And if nobles might be involved.... yeaaa... not a good time."

“By nightfall they might have destroyed all the evidence,” Briga says. “Using nobility as a shield, I am not OK with that, if someone here is involved. I vote we go in now. Mairi says nightfall. Griff, you don’t want to sneak in at all, I get that, respect, man. Sara? What’s your call?”
"I'd rather watch the place and go in when there is not a better than average chance we will be tossed into jail instead of getting inside anyway." Saralyssa says. "Definitely not getting in to find out anything if the watch hauls us in for attempted breaking and entry."
“I guess I’m outvoted, then,” Briga says, sounding only a little disappointed. “You guys stake the place out then, I’ll run and get Tyrus caught up on everything.”
Briga dashes off towards the Trollskull Manor tavern in search of Tyrus.
"I'll watch the back door if you watch the front." Saralyssa tells the others, as she heads that way. She will summon her familiar from its dimentional space as she does so, having two to watch the backdoor.
Mairi grimaces, and make her way to the front. Or at least to an angle in which she can keep an eye on the front while remaining inconspicuous about it with the others. But during her time keeping watch, she canvases the place as much as she can from the new position, gauging the ease by which one might get inside the Manor.

(OOC: Tyrus - yeah it's getting to about late afternoon, evening is around the corner, a few hours till dusk).
IC: "The Gralhunds? They only let in people with an invite - they sort of run the North Ward," one tells Mairi as she is canvassing the town. "Some strange figures going that way over the last few days," another passerby says. "I've heard the lady of the house pays the city watch to keep guard," yet another passerby tells you.
Briga searches for Tyrus at the tavern. If he is not there she asks the staff if he left any word where he was going. If she locates Tyrus she summarizes the investigation thus far and the current plan.
Tyrus listens to Briga and then immediately asks, "And have ye told the guards all this? Those investigators will be being mighty interested that ye found one of their suspects. There might even be a reward in it for ye, seeing as ye be a bounty hunter and all."
[OOC: DM, Does Tyrus think there would be any issue with opening the tavern for customers tonight? He's hoping to show the locals that the tavern is here for the long term—come hell or high water—and maybe even pick up some passing trade from those come to gawk at the sight of the 'terrorist' attack.]

“We... have not. We totally thought of that, but, uh, we wanted to get you first. Ok, no one thought of that. We should do that I guess,” Briga says, looking awkward. “I was worried they might be destroying the evidence right now but no one else wanted to bust in, right in broad daylight, so they’re just keeping tabs on the place. Maybe we should go flag down the guards.”
"I be thinking you should," says Tyrus. "Especially you, being a bounty hunter and all. You don't want to be losing your licence by doing stuff ye shouldn't."
Then he adds, "And, if ye remember, telling the guards what we was doing when we rescued Floon worked out all right in the end. The laws in this city are quite tough about misrepresenting yeself."

“Fair point. Let’s swing by the others and then hit up a local constable station,” Briga says. “No reason to rush into losing my license and sullying my knighthood before the paint has dried on either of them.”
“It just pisses me off, the thought that someone who killed and injured so many innocent people could be hiding behind the shield of nobility and destroying evidence. Whoever did this has to see justice, man. I’m serious, Tyrus.”
"Count me out, Briga," says Tyrus, shaking his head. "As I be saying before, I think we already be having enough on our plates as it is, what with this here tavern being possibly involved in a war between the Zhents and Xanathar's gang. I also be thinking we need to be showing our possible customers that we be open for business."
"No," adds Tyrus. "You should be going ahead and keeping the rest of them on the right side of the guards while I will be staying here to keep our investment safe and open for business. That be the right thing to do, as far as I be thinking."
Then, after a moment's hesitation, he says, "And besides. I'm no fighter like you and Griffar. I'd most likely be getting in the road, or accidentally be shooting you with my crossbow, like I almost did last time."
