Nate takes his place in the line as the party heads into the tunnel. He uses the light from Ophirinn's mace to guide him and then is in awe as they enter the large cavern. He looks around and takes a deep breath in. "... Wow..."Even with the smell of decay, Nate appreciates the natural wonder of the cavern. He is curious about the crevasse, and forgetting for a moment the marching order, he walks up to it and looks down.
He wants to see what is down there, how far it is down there, if he can see anything moving, etc. He walks over to the edge and takes a peek. He does this in a normal walking way, not stealthy at all, too much in awe of the cavern to forget about being quiet.
Sorry I forgot, Nate likely can't see anything if he walks away from Ophirinn, so he will light his own torch (removed from inventory) before he goes over to the edge.
Nate, you walk a little way, not more than ten feet, into the cavern and up to the crevasse, near the closer of the two bridges. Above, you notice the ceiling of the cavern, about twenty feet above you, with stalactites dotted here and there. As you approach, you feel chilly, a wave of cold air seeming to rise from the crevasse below. Looking down, you hold the torch up and take a good look. The crevasse is not too deep, perhaps only twenty feet deep, and about fifteen feet Hello friendsacross. You think you would be able to make your way up and down the sides of the crevasse relatively easily. At the bottom, you see trash, scraps of material, and - you think - possibly some human or other humanoid remains. Some look as though they have been here a while, but some look more recent. The smell is not pleasant.

Brom using the lights provided would like to see if theres any foot prints on the cavern floor guessing that if theres a lot of prints leading down one tunnel then chances where it would lead to the manor.
OOC: Just trying to understand the layout. There is a bridge to our right, and a passage to our left? And Leo sees another two passages in addition to the bridge and the tunnel to our left?
Delmon will look around for any symbols or marking the red brands may have left behind to help guide them in and out of these tunnels.
Brom, you can definitely see the tracks of Redbrands coming through this area frequently; all human or medium-sized humanoid, similar types of come and play footwear as the ones you've fought were wearing. There's also something...else. You're not entirely sure what; perhaps a large animal, but nothing you're familiar with.
Delmon, you also see the signs of the Redbrands. The crevasse splits the room north to south, and is to your right. There are two bridges crossing it, one nearer you and one further up to the north. There are two passages leading west, one north, and one east; the ones north and east lead from the other side of the crevasse. I'm not considering the bridges as passages, since you can clearly see where they start and finish.
At the moment, only Nate has gone close to the crevasse.
Leo, you move up to stand next to him. You pull the torch out of your backpack and light it, giving your eyes a moment to get used to the increased brightness, and then you hold it over the crevasse. Like Nate before you, you mostly see a mix of rubble and trash, with a few Too bright too bright! probable dead bodies in varying states of decay. And as Nate did, you notice that the area just feels cold - you would expect somewhere underground like this to be pretty cool, but there's a definite bite to the chill, more than just the normal consequence of lack of sunlight. You toss the torch down, and it lies burning on the bare rock.
Nate watches as Leo's torch falls down in the crevasse.
"Looks pretty nasty down there Leo. And that smell.... What do you think? Maybe this is where they keep their victims to rot."
Nate will then stand up and walk as close to the southern most bridge, torch in hand (I guess what I mean is whatever bridge is the closest to the tunnel that we all came from) and try and inspect it and see if it looks safe from where he is standing. He won't cross it yet or anything, just checking it out from the beginning of it.
"Careful Nate?! I think there might be something... some sort of creature in this place?"
Trying his best not to look/sound strange, Leo continues... "I have been hearing... voices... in my mind... since entering this place. I do not think we are alone."
"Leo... I hear them too. I thought I was loosing my mind and didn't want to say anything... I definitely don't feel comfortable in here."
Nate then looks over to Brom. "Yes, I don't want to be in this cavern for longer than we have to. Something... isn't right. I just checked out that bridge and it seems safe enough, but honestly I'd like to get out of here. How about we go that way?"
Nate points to the passage that is on the lower west side (lower left red dot).
Leo, there's nothing of particular note about the passageways, at least not that you can see from here. You'd have to get closer.

Can the party see down into the crevasse?
If not, Leo shall move to light a torch and toss it down the gap.

OOC: OH MAN yes this is amazing. SO yeah Nate will go to the start of that southern bridge and check it out.
Nate, you take a little time to look at the southern bridge (Investigation 11). As far as you can see, it looks normal.
