"Fine, 125 gold; I'll start researching ways to counteract the shrinking effect, but for now the best I can do is mitigate the effect."
Treasure: Each of you that is interested gets a Diluted Shrinking Super-Strength potion; for one hour after taking it, you are shrunk one size (medium to small, small to tiny) and receive a +2 to strength.
"That seems a fair payment to me. Maybe next time you can try a very small amount of your potions on yourself first, so you can have a sense of what they do. It's quite impressive what you're trying to do here! I'm sorry if I was a bit assertive before - must be a side-effect of the potion.
"Thank you for the 125 in gold, and actually I'd be interested in a dose of the remainder of the potion as-is, without the dilution.
"Now that we know what it does, it could come in handy. I heard a bard's tale about this thief who had to do a favor for a cranky old wizard and it involves shrinking down to a similar size and befriending ants. The character was very funny and charming and anyhow, this ant-like man found it useful to get small and strong and then switch back to being large. That may be too complicated for you but I'd like to have a dose or two of what you just gave us."
OOC: Soar and Paul Rudd would be very good friends.
(LOL.) Soar takes some of the non-dilute potion, with a vial of antidote of course.

The sun is setting; both the shrinking party and the scarecrow party head back to the Yawning Portal for dinner and drinks, they discuss with each other how much gold they have collected so far, and what quests they would like to do in the coming day.
(Have we started the barrow quest in this simultaneous quest timeline reality in which we find ourselves? Soar would be game for that starting soon or having started already.)
She'd also like to find out who is up for seeing an acquaintance of hers who wants people to take care of a necromancer who seems to be stealing bodies from the City of the Dead cemetery to make into a skeleton army.
She says she has 150 gold to contribute to the Fund To Resurrect Trollskull Manor so far, and asks how others have been doing. She buys a round for any of her group who's at the tavern.
(Hasn't started yet except talking with the dwarf who told you about it. I was thinking that a party could start heading out for the barrows tomorrow. I imagine we could simultaneously do the skeletons quest.)
Kierro listens to Soar. He agrees to help with the barrows quest.
“As for the other task,” he says, “you had me at ‘necromancer’ and ‘skeleton army’. I’m helping with that one too. Hopefully I don’t burn the- ...nevermind. We also got 50 gold each for killing that scarecrow.”
Epee stands up and walks over to the table the adventurers are currently sitting at. "Hi, I don't mean to interrupt you at all. Have you seen a golem lately? He'd be like me so made out metal and I'm guessing he's shorter than me," Epee asks them
(Imagine Silver Chariot but without the spiky shoulders)
"I don't know. It's a long story. All I know is that I need to find him for some reason. It's what you organics call a...gut feeling? Oh where are my manners? I'm Épée."
Épée takes a seat if there is one available
"I think he's here but I'm a foreigner so I wouldn't even know where to start."
"Oh, wow I never expected to meet another non-organic," Épée musters
He is completely in shock and awe but gets straight to the chase.
"You four (OOC: correct me if I'm wrong on that number) seem to know this way around this place and I don't. You seem like adventurers yourselves and I'm very capable of combat. Let me join you so that I could hopefully find who I'm looking for."
Soar tells the new warforged about how they got the deed to Trollskull Manor, the condition it's in, and how they're taking odd jobs to raise some coin to pay to fix it up into a tavern they own and use it as a base of operations.
"I have 150 to contribute to the fund, and might be able to get more with this barrow quest and the necromancer thief. I'm hoping my companions have been more successful than I've been and soon we will have some coin to get things moving. You are welcome to contribute to that with gumption and martial prowess! Just, if you can, take our lead for a bit and try not to light the tavern on fire without warning. Maybe we can help you figure out why you need to find this golem, too."
Soar will eat and drink and swap stories a bit, visiting with others, adding up what people are anteing up for the project, before heading back to the manor to crash and sleep.
”I got... Let's see... About 430 gold, and I'd be willing to spend about 200-250 of that on the project, meaning we still need about 600 to 1150 gold before we’re done with it, though maybe we can find some good deals if we do some work for the guilds that we need.” Dwaye says before getting up from his chair ”I’m off to go hit the hay, it’s been a long day, what with all the scarecrow killing and party shrinking. Let’s meet up here tomorrow for the necromancer quest thing.”
“I have around 200 gold pieces I am willing to share, Soar. You may have it for Trollskull Manor.” He turns to Asmodai and asks him about the Zhentarim and what they do. (Ignore this part if Asmodai hasn’t actually mentioned being part of the Zhentarim. If he hasn’t, he’ll talk to Yagra about them instead. Ignis isn’t going on the barrow quest.)

Epee sees the party return and sits at a booth by himself. He's contemplating if these are the right people to talk to about his situation.
