I'm interested in playing as well. I'm fairly inexperienced at D&D. I should able to post roughly once a day.

Lyle Glenfellow
Backstory: For most of his life, Lyle had lived a simple life in a farming community with his father, Lloyd, his mother, Lorelei, and his sister, Lily. He was certain that he would live the rest of his days like that, until his home was invaded. He was woken up in the middle of the night by his father, who informed him that he was a former mercenary who fled his guild, Night Hawk, after they started to become too vicious, and was told that his to escape with his sister and mother as his former guildmates would be coming after them. Lyle could barely get his clothes on and his backpack on before he heard the sound of shouting and fighting. He barely managed to get away with his mother and sister before he heard his home being blown up in the distance.
Since that night, Lyle has been traveling around the sword coast with what remained of the Glenfellows, avoiding and fighting the Night Hawks, with only his fists to protect his family, until they eventually found the Bannered Blades. In exchange for their protection, Lyle gave what remained of his family's possessions and his services.
I'm new to this D&D Beyond and 5E too, however I played 3,5 ed in PbP a couple of years ago.
I'll make a non magical char maybe a melee type. I can post every day however I live in europe so I probably post about 8 hours before anyone in US east coast. Unless I'm up at night like now :)
Charmine Verral Lived in poverty, homelessness, and struggled to even get a full stomach.
Charmine was the result of an accidental pregnancy from a noble family, a bastard. Because of this his parents left him out on the streets when he was only 4 years old. A confused Charmine went for days without food or shelter, until he was evidently rescued by a Tiefling. He was in the same situation but much older, had to be around his 50s. This Titefling who's name is only Verral taught him how to read and to write, taught him Infernal, taught him how to make a meal using the simplest of ingredients, and taught him how to live in the streets doing what's necessary. That way of life at the least assured a meal a day and on a good day they could even afford a bed. Charmine was naturally perceptive, picking up on things that the average man would deem useless. So he would be the lookout in their burglaries. His natural perception also helps him spot liars and hidden intent.
At the age of 16 one of the other urchins saw how good Verral and his adopted son was doing, he plotted to ransack and steal all their possessions with a few of his friends. He succeeded but at the time Verral was guarding it so he killed him. When Charmine saw what happened he despaired. He sought vengeance. He gathered all the information he could get from asking questions and investigating in a year until he found his target. He sneaked in killed everyone but the target and demanded answers to the questions he had. His target said he was hired by a victim of one of Verral's burglar heists, a noble. Charmine proceeded to kill him in cold blood. In that moment he cursed the nobility for not only abandoning him but also killing his only family.
His notoriety grew with time in the world of crime until he was approached by a mercenary. He was asked if he wanted to join a mercenary band because his skills were sought out for. Now he is part of The Bannered Blades (focusing more on the Blades part). He takes the more crime oriented requests but still does the usual mercenary jobs. His goal is to find who hired that man and take revenge once more and thought this mercenary band might be a way to do it.
In highschool, have played a few campaigns some were stopped early and 2 is still ongoing, currently on school holidays so i can respond pretty quickly gmt+7. If i may Orangeplease.
Morg is from a small village in the far northern Darrma Region. He is a huge Half-Orc Barbarian, he can be mistaken for a full Orc, Morg is literally the bull in a china shop. While he mayne well traveled he seems a bit slow, perhaps more than his backwoods farming community upbringing would explain. He can most often be found in the stables taking care of the livestock or playing with his runt war "Mastiif", Kevan, that looks suspiciously like a pug. Morg is very uncomfortable in social gatherings and most find him a little odd. He is kind, but his Orc blood and massive frame does little to impart that on first-sight.
Morg's Clan, Clan Shanda, operate a caravan service through the Bloodstone Pass and after multiple incidents of breaking customer's property, the Clan encouraged Morg to travel and adventure through the land. The Clan told him it was to help spread word of the great work of his clan and their Half-Orc village, but many know it was to save money on reimbursement costs to the caravan service. Although clumsy and apt to break things he touches, once Morg is in combat he is as graceful as any dancer and his large frame moves effortlessly dodging and striking the enemy.
Edited to add I should be able to post multiple times during the week and at least once or twice on the weekend. I wlll be out a week the first week of June but will probably be able to post once or twice a day that week - will be at camp and the dining hall has A/C and wifi.
My son is the same age as teh_hobit, which is kinda funny since all my games have been played with my son and included other family friends about the same age, so technically I have never played a game with adults only.
It won't let me do 4d6 drop lowest, but I'd be happy to use these scores!
About me: - Experience: I DM for my highschool group, but I'm still pretty new to D&D. - Type of Player: I don't really know what kind of player I am, as I've never been a player, only a DM, but I know that I will be roleplaying a lot. - Post Frequency: Once or twice a day at least, most likely twice a day on weekdays and once a day on weekends. - Age: 15, soon to be 16
Race: Mountain Dwarf Class: Wizard Background: Floi is an old dwarf from the mountains. He was a librarian in a dwarf library, where he began to learn magic. Now, he goes adventuring with the Bannered Blades in order to get enough money to get a magical education himself, instead of learning at the library he worked at.
We're a bit light on healers. I can switch to druid or cleric if you think we need one :)
I'll keep the name and ability scores but switch them around.
Anyway, is the 5 first on the player list in group 1 while the 4 last is in group 2? looks almost balanced to me :)
You can switch if you want to, I might have worked a homebrew item that could help a little in the early game, or a heal bunny Npc if needed. Groups are undecided yet, but they do seem to be balancing themselves as you say XD

I am interested in this game. I just started playing D&D and have only had about 2 sessions, but I my DM and I created a half-orc life cleric as a back up character in case my little dwarf tempest cleric goes down for the final count.
Feng Greystone - Feng had a traditional raising for a half-orc, traveling with his clan taking in the violent culture and and picking up weapons at a very young age. His life was typical of a half-orc until he broke his leg while attacking a small village and his people left him behind viewing him as too weak to keep along. He stayed in that state for a couple days until an older man came across him and took pity of the sight he saw. He was an older priest in the church of Apollo. The man's name was Tomlin and became almost a surrogate father to young Feng. He was taken back to the monastery Tomlin lived at and began talking to him about his faith and teaching how to read and write. Because of the pity and kindness shown to Feng he quickly became a devote follower of Apollo. He had to work hard to be accepted by the other acolytes but as the rough parts were smoothed out and he showed how much he truly loved his deity for healing him and allowing him a second chance at life they started to begrudgingly accepting him. Since Feng had been elevated to priest of Apollo, he has been traveling and seeking out those who need help and mercy, at times his half-orc background creeps back into his mannerisms but he tries to work past that in hopes of helping.

About me: - Experience: Been playing for a couple of years. I DM a homebrew game once a week, and have played LMOP once before as a player, but I know there is stuff we missed, and would look forward to another take on it. - Type of Player: Enjoy all three pillars of the game, and love epic adventure games interlaced with other play styles. - Post Frequency: Once a day, sometimes more unless I’m traveling. - Age: Late 20’s
Race: Half-Orc Class: Druid Background: Sickle is a large, heavily tattooed half-orc with grayish-green skin, dark hair, dark eyes, and a gruff demeanor. He has a natural propensity for magic, drawing power from the Old Gods and the spirits of the land, but mostly treats it like a tool to be wielded rather than some deeper connection or purpose. If there is one, he certainly isn’t aware of it, and has been roaming the world for a long time as an outcast. The Bannered Blades aren’t the first mercenary group he’s been attached to (fighting is easy money) and it may not be his last. But he’s loyal in battle, and does his best to make sure everyone around him makes it home safely.
Ability scores: 111513141412
I mean...with those rolls...im better off with the standard panel...(trundles off to see if he can play it into RP material)
