(Back, had a lot to catch up on there guys, lol! Also, thanks Cusm for clearing up the disadvantage question :) greatly appreciated)
@Talen: the arrow pings off your armour, so you’re fine.
As Feng drives the oxen on, closing the gap between the wagon and the roadblock by 40ft (they are pulling a loaded wagon and oxen aren’t the fastest unless you want stampede mode, they're more designed for pulling heavy stuff for long periods of time than speed), Charmine charges into the thicket on the right, coming face to face with one of the two visible goblins. He slashes at it with his short sword and it falls, cleaved from shoulder to navel. In the midst of this, Morg heaves the javelin in his hand forward and it hits the other visible goblin, skewering it to the ground.
There are no longer any visible goblins.
Talen, Lyle and Kyshana, what do you guys want to do?

"Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear." Lyle mutters to himself. Concerned for his companions and embarassed at his lack of a contribution, he dashes ahead of the cart.
As you guys move, there’s a rustle in the thickets to the left of the road, then a quick burst of voices in Goblin. Then the rustling moves quickly away from you, deeper into the forest around. Then all is quiet.
@Talen: you can see that there’s a worn section of earth where they were stood, implying that this is a frequent ambush spot, and you find a trail that leads from it back to the road.

Feng jumps off the wagon and walks the rest of the distance to the horses. I pray to Ilmater that these horses didn't suffer to much when they were killed. I will try and help move the bodies.
@Feng: the horses are heavy and awkward, dead weights, but you manage to drag one of them a little way out of the way. As you do so, you spot the saddlebags of the horses a leather map case on the ground, previously hidden by the corpses.

Feng examines the map case and notices the phrase "Rockseeker" on it. He turns to the rest of the group and asks, Do any of you know anything about this? Sadly most of my education is was centered on the teachings of Ilmater, and various other religious things. Not a lot of time for history lessons.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"I know everything!" Talen say automatically to Feng altogh that might be a bit overestmating himself, just slightly :)
"Anyway it looks like the goblins frequent this spot regularly so perhaps it's a good idea to put up warning signs for travelers a hundred or two hundred feet from here."
Then Talen takes a look at the map case. (history check 7
And how are you going to make a sign? I don’t suppose you’re going to chop a tree down and carpenter your way to a sign.

Thinking aloud here would anyone have an idea of how big a goblin’s nest is?
Charmine says as he thought having a supply line be at risk of being raided by goblins is quite the nuisance especially for merchants and the like. Then again with more raids we get more jobs but he’d rather not deal with goblins everytime they passed through here.
@Talen: you don’t remember coming across the name in any books... but it sounds irritatingly familiar and after a moment of thinking you remember:
Gundren Rockseeker was the name of the dwarf who’d hired the Bannered Blades to escort the wagon.
@Charmine: as you ask this question, Kiblin climbs back up onto the top of the wagon. “Is big. Big cave. Stream runs through it.” She looks a little sad as she says this.

Talen walks over to the goblin corpses and attempt to backtrack any trail they have left behind.
"Maybe we'll discover more of them by going back to where they came from".
And he will look for goblins trying to hide.

Feng seeing this decided to try and loot the bodies before they were moved to much and damaged what could be useful.
The saddlebags are both empty, they’ve probably already been raided by the ambushers. The map case is also empty
@Feng
It does have Dwarven runes stitched into the leather, which you recognise as the word “Rockseeker”.

Rockseeker... Rockseeker, that name does sounds familiar. Something to do with the guild?" Talen's not too sure of himself when it comes to that name.
Talen checks his backpack; "No, forgot to pack those things so I guess no signs... ha ha."
