Gnarls nods at Tobias. "I don't know much about the arcane, but i'e seen enough to have assumed that was the case. West it is then. We'll need strong fighters at the front and back of the line. I'd strongly recommend we keep most of our people here while we do this. It didn't look like we can get ambushed from the east."
El's magic swirls again but without purpose, they don't seem to notice as they begin strategising; "If there are guards in the watchtower across the way then they will pick us off like fish in a barrel, we need a plan. Sarith and Cyndral can lead the group, one behind and one in front, making sure to cover anything shiny like swords and mail, so we can still pass as prisoners and we might be able to make it across without arousing suspicion. Alternatively we could go for a frontal approach and create cover, bearing our shields in a defensive formation. the downside is that if we are spotted it may give them time to sabotage the bridge or prepare. I for one don't want to fight any quaggoths and who knows how many guards. I agree with Gnarls, leaving our non fighters here would be less risky and they can join us once we clear the next tower."
Despite their face of confidence El is clearly looking for the groups input and distracted by a million thoughts. What do I know? I've never been held in an Underdark prison before. I didn't even think to save some of my magic. If only we had been captured by another species, I could use my magic to put them to sleep. Cursing their luck and the Drow that captured them, a few curses slipping into the Telepathic spores accidentally
El borrows an iron spike and angles it on the lock, he gets the hammer and begins slowly knocking the end of the iron spike until the lock bursts open. After getting the nack for this, El then moves on to break the lock of all the shackles, freeing Turvy.
JimJar then pipes up "Ah, I forgot to mention but I grabbed these keys off the guard before" He pulls out a few keys on a keyring "I'd have bet you 5 gold pieces that one of these keys would have opened the lock, ah well, maybe next time"
Sarith replies to Gnarls. "I've not been here before but wherever there is a Drow priestess, there is normally a shrine. I wouldn't be surprised if she had one somewhere here, there are also no beds here, that suggests to me that there may be guard sleeping quarters somewhere too"
Drendil moves over to the barrels with Tobias and holds it steady while it is hammered. The lid pops off and inside is a strange wet, sinew like substance, the smell hits you all and brings back memories of when you were chained up and in the dream like state. This is a type of mushroom that you have been eating during your time in captivity. Sarith looks over "Ah, Zilden I thought my stomach had been hurting and that explains the headaches. It's edible but it's not so nice" (Two of the barrels are full of 30 rations worth of the Zilden Mushroom)
Eldeth says "I agree with Tobias, I don't want to leave here without my families sword and armour. I must get it home"
Sarith then says "I can put a chain shirt on and pretend to be a guard, although I'm not used to fighting in such heavy stuff. The leather belongs to the elite guards and if they are anything like the elite guards in Menzoberranzan then they'll know each other by name and face"
"Pay up you two," Tobias says to JimJar and Shish. "I found mushrooms before either of you." His eyes begin to water as the aroma hits him. "I don't think we want to be eating these, though." He pries open the third barrel hoping for something different.
"I can't say I like the sound of 'Elite guard'. Do we even know if there are guards at that tower? Surely if there were they would have noticed me riding that one guard like a wild pony"
"Ah, thank Mystra, some armour and weapons to help us. I was unsure as to whether my prayers would ever be answered"He grabs a shortsword, a shield and a bag of Caltrops before picking up a chain shirt that he begins putting on. He takes the blade and holds it out in front of him, a tear forms in one of his glowing eyes, a single radiant tear which drops from his cheek onto the blade in front of him. Nothing happens and a frown can be seen as his brow wrinkles slightly.
The rest of the group start crowding around and grabbing what they can. You hear shouts of "Give me that sword" "This will never fit" and "How many of these can I have?"
Buppido - A dagger and leather armour
Drendil - Happy with nothing
Eldeth - Chain Shirt, Shield and Shortsword
JimJar - Case of Crossbow bolts
Ront - Copying Tobias puts on 2 chain shirts and picks up a shortsword for himself
Sarith - Shortsword, Leather/Chain armour depending on the decision by the group
Shuushar and Stool - Nothing
Topsy and Turvy - 2 daggers each and some leather armour each.
El gives JimJar a look, "Now you tell me."They think for a second then nods to Tobias and steps outside the tower, "if I'm not back in 10 minutes, I've been discovered" Disguising themself as the Drow again El walks out onto the bridge.
Tobias catches El before they step outside. "Be smart out there,"he slaps the drow lightly on the cheek. "Even Torm will watch after the reckless... Trust me, I would know."
Wearing the chain shirt and altering their appearance once more, El steps out of the door and follows around the outside of the guard tower towards the bridge to the south west.
(Can I have a Perception roll - Disadvantage and a Deception roll with Advantage? Standard Stealth roll too if El is trying to still be quiet regardless of the disguise)

Meanwhile El has approached the rope bridge. Mimicking the walk of the Drow and the mean, unfriendly facial expression that they’ve witnessed in their time here.
Looking from one side of the bridge El can make out the outlines of the three stalactites in the distance. Green glowing lights can be seen from two places along the southerly wall.
El crosses the bridge, taking their time and trying to not make too much noise as the bridge sways slightly. Upon reaching the other side, El can now see that the platform opens up slightly, there is a bridge leading over to the nearest tower. While looking around, the rope holding bit of their equipment begins to untie slightly. With a crash and a clatter, El’s sword drops to the floor. “Who’s there? What are you doing making all that noise?” A voice shouts out. Looking forward El can see a Drow wearing a chain shirt begin to emerge from the shadows.
El picks up the sword and calls back "Give me a break, I haven't had a decent rest since our lot arrived, and I swear the Priestess Ilvara has it out for me." El slows and stretches to make a point then continues on. "Shoor told me I could take a break, though not with those words exactly."
Persuasion(+3)/Deception(+5) 8 Guidance 4
El continues to brattle on 'quoting' Shoor and his not-so-kind words attempting to give the impression of an inexperienced and not very bright guard.
"Pay up you two," Tobias says to JimJar and Shish. "I found mushrooms before either of you." His eyes begin to water as the aroma hits him. "I don't think we want to be eating these, though." He pries open the third barrel hoping for something different.
Shishakli chuckles "Good thing you weren't in on the bet at the beginning. Let's go hope the human doesn't die eh?" and walks out the door to watch El cross the bridge, attempting to stay hidden in the dark. stealth6 ((is this rocky terrain? if so, advantage: 7))
Shishakli leaves the guard tower, staying close to the walls of the exterior, his greyish skin helping him blend into his surroundings, almost making him seem like part of the rock face when he stands still enough.
(The 25 Deception from earlier for El will still be active at this point as you’ve not actually used it and you’re still using the same amount of deceit)
“Shoor? Break, ha, lucky you. Maybe if he keeps ‘looking after’ the Priestess we might all get a day off”
The guard turns and begins to walk back towards where the light came from. El follows behind slightly to get a good look of the entire cavern.
As Shishakli peers into the darkness and El gets a chance to see sections of the cavern that are lit up, between them they can make out another standard Drow guard and two elite guards in this built up section. Looking behind one of the smaller towers from where they are El can make out some sort of platform or lift.
Quickly scouting, Shishakli heads up and says to the group "The passage goes on a bit past that guard, and there are a few more behind. We should be ready to rush across the bridge should something go wrong." He then goes back down to watch El and the guard.
El-Drow stops and makes a face, "Damnit, I forgot to pass on the keys. I'll be right back,"they head back over the bridge with the Drow equivalent of dragging your feet and returns to the tower.
OoC: Can I still use the Guidance then? Since I didn't need that roll.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Tobias gives Verim a pat on his shoulder. "Do not worry, friend. We will find a way for you to reconnect with you goddess. I feel a similar loss at the moment, but I still believe Torm will see us through."
"Perhaps you should just wear the chain," Tobias suggests to Sarith. "No point in risking it if it may cause some question."
"Do those keys work on those manacles," he asks JimJar, as he points to Turvey. "I think we should try to get everyone free, right?"
(If the keys don't work then Tobias would get some help from Drendil to break them free.. Strength 20)
